Thank you for sharing your feedback. We sincerely regret that your stay did not meet your expectations. Guest comfort and safety are extremely important to us, and we take the concerns you have raised seriously. We understand that your reservation was made on short notice due to an unexpected change in your original accommodations. However, we never want a guest to feel that their circumstances or concerns are being dismissed. After reviewing your concerns, we discovered the leak you mentioned was created by someone wrongfully using a portable a/c unit that was in storage. The unit was not properly vented causing a major water leak upstairs costing thousands of dollar's worth of costly repairs to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd floor. At the time we informed you to turn of the portable unit and we received no response from you. The air-conditioning was cooling to 72 degrees which are verified by monitoring system. These air conditioners are brand new and any problems you incurred were caused by doors being left open allowing humidity to come in. There are alarms on the doors, all you need to do is turn them on and they work fine. We checked them. Also, the doors are impact sliders and are very hard for a child to open. You mentioned we did not have amenities, meaning the outdoor tiki tv's which are not a listed amenity. The outside trailer was there because we are performing seasonal work and has no bearing on your stay. Any and all minimal repairs issues during your stay such as the ice machine was mitigated with us providing you as many bags of ice as you needed and you were repeatedly told of a second ice machine at our downstairs bar. The beach was 100 percent cleaned up before you arrived but there is nothing, we can do about unnaturally high king tides. As to water at the dock, it was never listed as an amenity as well as the tv's at the tikis. They are there for your convenience but are not listed as an amenity. We take maintenance and safety matters seriously and are reviewing the concerns mentioned in your review to ensure that any necessary repairs and improvements are addressed. Constructive feedback is always important however when the guest causes most of the damage themselves we take it with a grain of salt. However, all repairs have been made to Seaside Sandpiper so no further problems should arise. In summation, the issues you informed us about during your stay were addressed immediately and some of your complaints were made post stay and the majority of the issues were caused by you and your party. Furthermore, you attempted to extort money to prevent a bad review and told us so. Also, you left one day early to book an extremely expensive hotel at your choosing not because you couldn't stay at our home. We want all our guests to have wonderful stays, but we cannot fix what we don't know about and what people don't tell us what damage they've done.

We can offer a beautiful home with all of the amenities in the amazing Florida Keys, but you have to do the rest and enjoy your time. And you and your group knew how to do that. So many things in my control, but that weather for an outdoor wedding is such a wild card. But the most weather perfect day, ended up being the wedding day.
