About 90% of the rentals in this area are generic apartments. Pros: -Beds were comfortable. Apt. was spacious. Way better than staying in a hotel-Nice to have coffee & a refrigerator/freezer in the room. Freezer had a working ice maker as well.-Convenient (driving) access to grocery store & restaurants. Of note, LA Cafe (food & drinks) was excellent!-Reasonable pricing in comparison to staying at a hotel.Cons:-There was a lot of trash piled up outside of the apartments in the hallway when we arrived on a Thursday night. The next day, it was gone. Not a great welcome sign.-Limited TV services. No ESPN. My husband was watching a champion game that had occurred in 2025. None of the major networks had free service.-The chair and couch (living room) were like sitting in a lobby. To be fair, it looks like all the rentals in the area have the same type of generic furniture, and there are very few "homes" for 2 people. -Vertical blinds in the main room were broken, so we couldn't open them to get light in or see outside for a few days. -Patio (which was hard to access w the blinds broken) had one lawn chair. Again, to be fair, it doesn't look like any of these apartment rentals have any furniture on the patios. The owners of these buildings should consider having a couple of fold-out comfortable chairs inside of the rental for the bottom floor, or outside if they have a railing. what is the use of having a patio if there is nowhere to sit?
