We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful winery ranch house! The property is peaceful, stunning, and perfectly maintained. Waking up to vineyard views each morning felt like a dream. The home was spotless, stylishly decorated, and so peaceful. It was also perfectly located for our weekend—being so close to our wedding venue made everything incredibly convenient. Hosting our family for a rehearsal dinner here was effortless; the space was comfortable, welcoming, and ideal for gathering everyone together.Our hosts were warm, attentive, and thoughtful, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed. This is truly a special place—quiet, charming, and surrounded by nature. We can’t wait to come back!

Amazing stay! The host was easy to communicate with, and it’s an added bonus to easily walk down to the tasting room. There is ample space in every bedroom and more than enough common room area. The area is secluded, so it feels very private. It is close enough to get to various food spots. I will definitely stay again. Thanks!

Amazing Stay

What a gorgeous stay! My family was impressed with the beautiful area in which this house is located. Also the house itself was perfect for us, roomy and has so many places to gather for conversation, indoors or out! Walking to the winery on the property was icing on the cake. Love this place!

Fabulous House in the Country

Hart to Hart Vineyards Farmhouse is a great house for a big group of people. There were 8 of us. The owner was very accommodating and let us host a brunch for 30 as part of a wedding that was in Placerville. We spent time on the back deck in the morning sun and the front porch in the evening sun. It is quiet and the surrounding views of the vineyard and hills is tranquil. Would stay here again.

Another great long weekend!

We love this place and come back every year for an annual gathering of old friends. Amazing property next to great hiking and the river. Sherrie is an excellent host, we have nothing short of five stars for everything !

incredible location amid the vines

We had a wonderful time at the Hart to Hart property for three days with extended family. The home is well equipped and the setting is absolutely fantastic.

Girls Weekend

This is our second time staying at this property for our annual girls weekend. It's a Perfect House with lots of space and room to spread out. The view is amazing.

Girls weekend

We love the property and the location. He will definitely be back. The bed in the upstairs master bedroom does need to be replaced as it definitely folds up like a taco when people are sleeping in it. A few of the lights need some replacement as well. Overall, the property is clean and absolutely amazing and we had a great weekend..

Girls Craft Weekend

This house was the perfect fit for our crafty group. It was a nice large, open space. The house was clean and the staff was extremely friendly. It was lovely to be next-door to a winery and on the Vineyard.

Perfect vacation

The property is clean and beautiful. Spacious for the group. The only drawback is the cooktop. It is old and gave a strange “tik-tik”sound after using it for a while. Kitchen tools are basic but sufficient, we did not do much cooking for the weekend.

Picturesque Relaxation

Sitting on the house porch overlooking the beautiful rolling Sierra foothills was an immersive relaxing experience. The house was very comfortable and clean, The large kitchen was perfect for our group food preparations. Everyone was impressed wtth the house and want to come back. Next time we will defintitely attend the Friday night winery event which looked magical under the lights and stars.

Good house-good host

House was very good and we enjoyed our stay but windows and carpet were very dirty, not enough light, all door handles need repair badly, bed in upstairs bedroom with bath was not sleepable.

Perfect relaxing weekend!

Our group of 12 had the most amazing weekend at this house for my 30th birthday. We got in on Friday and Hart 2 Hart winery (steps away from the house) had live music to enjoy. Saturday, we went white water rafting in the morning which was only a mile away. After that, we came back and had wine tasting appointments in the afternoon. The location was perfect, and everyone at the winery was super welcoming and sweet. The house was beautiful and slept all 12 of us comfortably. Each of the rooms has a queen or king bed, and the 5th room has a fold out double couch bed. I would definitely come back!

Souza family Baby celebration

The house was wonderful. We had a baby shower for our daughter and everything went beautifully. The house is large and very comfortable. We had a few problems, on Sunday the internet went out and we had no hot water Sunday night and Monday. There were a few issues with the appliances not being clean (there was mold growing in the blender) we cleaned everything. Other than those few thing we enjoyed our weekend.

Beautiful house in a great setting

We were very pleased with our stay. The house is large and very comfortable. While we had no contact with the owner, the winery staff were immediately responsive to a problem we encountered and sent someone to fix it. There are great hiking trails nearby and numerous rafting places. There were a few small things wrong, including 1) A difficult to access smoke detector that started beeping at various times 2) One of the two ovens didn't work 3) The toaster lever needed to be held down manually in order for it to work Also, the instructions said to turn off the thermostats when we left but they were locked and required a code which we did not receive. (We left a note for the staff, detailing these and other minor issues that needed to be taken care of.) As I said, these were small things and they did not detract from our enjoyable stay.

Very Comfortable for Large Group

My family stayed at the farmhouse for my daughter's wedding in the area. Carissa and winery staff are amazing to work with - great communication and wonderfully delicious wines! The home is very comfortable for a large group. The property is on a well water system with an electric pump, so make sure to bring lots of drinking water in case of a power failure. We have been told that an alternative power source will be added, but it was not available to us and the power was out for several hours. There is air conditioning however it is the property policy to keep the downstairs at 76 degrees and upstairs at 74 degrees - for some of my group, that was a bit too warm. There are fans in all of the bedrooms so that helped a bit. All in all, the home was very nice and the correspondence with the property manager Carissa and the owner Sherrie was very good.

Don't Judge a Book by its Cover

I wish I could say our stay was good. First, I want to say the house and vineyard was lovely. The property contact communicated before check in. The view and outside of the house looked wonderful. Unfortunately, the inside showed a different story. It wasn’t very clean and the home was in need of some serious maintenance. Many kitchen utensils and parts of the house were held together by zip ties, tape, and even bobby pins (albeit creative)! Here is a list of what was wrong:1) Stove didn’t work properly (couldn't use exhaust fan)2) utensils in kitchen not clean, measuring cups and ice cream scooper still had dried food on them, dishes were still in the dishwasher (obviously, the cleaning crew didn’t clean/put away). The toaster was dirty and rusted. No basics like salt and pepper.3) The description on VRBO said the house slept 12 but there were only enough utensils (forks) for 10.4) Beds were horrible. Most uncomfortable nights sleep ever. We nicknamed our bed the "taco shell".5) The railing on the staircase was so wobbly and loose (hazard!)6) Water in tub/shower didn’t drain properly7) toilet chain broke after 2 flushes and toilet ran constantly until my husband fixed it.8) The home does NOT include shampoo and shower soap. I guess they expect you to travel with all of that.The property is fairly remote, which is great. Its was very spacious and accommodating our 12 person family comfortably. Overall only a 3 star, and would not return.

Property Needs Attention

The photographs depict a beautiful property. It's in a beautiful location and has a very nice view. We stayed at the home for my daughter's wedding. We participated in the counties "Play and Stay" program, but learned that the property was "not in good standing" with the county so we did not get credit for staying there. The home seems to have fallen into disrepair and little attention seems to be given to the upkeep. It was also obvious the property was not given a walk-through prior to our arrival. When we arrived, the entry door was blocked by a swarm of hornets and once we were able to get in, the house smelled like it had been closed up for a significant amount of time. We had to open the doors and windows to air it out. Other indicators that it had not been inspected prior to our arrival, was the rat poop on the living room carpet, the dead lizard on the floor in the center of the downstairs bedroom, and the pile of dead bugs on the windowsill and carpets upstairs. Many of the fixtures in the home are in disrepair, including exterior doors that do not lock, doorknobs that fall off, the jet tub in the primary bedroom does not work, the loose plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms, the refrigerator icemaker doesn't work, the ignitors on the gas stove had to be unplugged because they would not shut off, and the many stains on the carpet. The home could be very nice, but someone needs to pay attention to the details to ensure it's presentable.

We are a small family owned winery in the heart of Gold Country along Historic Highway 49 and the American River.
Sherrie Everhart is the proprietor of Everhart Cellars at Hart 2 Hart Vineyards, who began her adventure with her late husband Jim, on a nine acre vineyard nearby above Salmon Falls Road, called the Pilot Ridge Vineyard . The micro climate here produces wonderful grapes that create smooth balanced wines.
In June 2013 we opened our Coloma Valley Winery, Everhart Cellars, it is our primary location, and features our wine tasting room with outdoor patio, beautiful terraced picnic area, gardens, winery event pavilion, and the Vineyard Estate Farmhouse vacation home.
Our Tasting room and gift shop is open Thursday-Sunday 11:30-5:30
Our wines are mostly Estate Grown and we specialize in Blends and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wines include:
Pinot Grigio, Vermentino, Chardonnay, Happy Z!N, Sparkling Wine, Barbera, Romantique Harmony (bordereaux blend ), Bella Lynda (Italian Blend) Ryker Red (Rhone Blend), Merlot, Petite Sirah, California 49 Red Table Wine, 'Ruby Lips', Orange Muscat, both late harvest dessert wines. And our signature varietal Cabernet Sauvignon.
