Thornton Gap provides access to Skyline Drive and a wonderful variety of hiking opportunities, while the Shenandoah Valley offers plenty to explore between park visits. On your next stay, you might enjoy Luray Caverns, horseback riding at Jordan Hollow Stables, an afternoon at Wisteria Farm & Vineyard, or an outing on the Shenandoah River.
