Location was ideal. Enough room and nicely decorated. The property especially in the back just felt unkept. With some tlc could be a great place. Broken dishwasher and front windows. No toilet paper or garbage bags, 2 laundry pods and small 2 oz size dish soap . Not ideal for 5 days and a large family of 9 with the price they charged. Communication felt like I was talking to AI, house is for sale but needs some improvements. Parking was crappy, 2nd car had to pay the 30.00ish a day to park. I really wanted to leave a good review as the maintenance/ cleaning guy was reallly nice and let us put our stuff on the porch a few minutes early and was friendly but people need to know what they are paying for, hope this helps.

Excellent!

I booked this unit as a surprise for my wife’s 50th and invited her parents to join us. The home is extremely clean and comfortable with the convenience to the beach being its best asset. We loved its old beach cottage charm and will definitely book again on our next trip to Tybee!

Great Staycation Rental

The house was at a great location, numerous restruant within walking distance, and easy access to the beach. The interior of the house was great, well furnished and comfortable. The master bedroom was spacious and great for seperating the adults from the kids. Only had one minor issue with the door lock not working properly at check in. It seems they replaced the lock strike plate or something and it was slightly misaligned makeing it impossible to get in. Had to call the property management, lucklily they had a key on premise to manually unlock the door.

All started out well with the booking and check in, the issue started once we got in. The parking space was the sidewalk and not guaranteed. We checked in and I tried to inquire where the parking and was told if it was taken we would have to pay for street parking when the property details said one spot would be provided. The communication ended after that message. The top bunk bed was cracked, we didn’t need it, but i would have been disappointed had I brought my young boys. There was zero toilet paper and after multiple texts we had to buy our own. There were no trashbags other than what was in the trash can, again no response when we inquired. There was a flash flood while we were there and the fireplace was leaking so we had to use a kitchen pot to collect it as it started puddling, again no response at all when we texted them. Overall, had the communication been better it would've been fine. The parking was our biggest as we specifically picked the place because it included a parking space. The culmination of the lack of toilet paper and trash bags with that was incredibly frustrating. As we went to check out we discovered the dishwasher wouldn't start. Again i messaged them and received zero response. I tried to call initially and there was no response to that either.

Moldy Mahem

The kitchen and dining room have a strong smell of mold. The parking spot is difficult yo identify, you're basically parking on the side walk and we were not sure if that was the parking space or not. We didn't have the correct lock box when we first came to the property so we had to wait outside in the heat and try different codes that the property manager gave us. There's also dead roaches (2-3) in the house, no dust pan to sweep up sand with, and the circuit breaker for the washing machine was off so we spent some time trying to troubleshoot it.

As for the roaches, this home is on regular pest control, so the fact they were dead proved it is working!
