Dette smukt indrettede toværelses townhome er beliggende i det passende navngivet villa kompleks, Stone's Throw from the Ocean, i Folly Field området på øen. Gå til Hilton Head smukke strand på under 5 minutter. Parkere foran din dør og ind i villaen gennem en indhegnet og meget privat, forreste dæk fuld af sol. Den nedenunder har en åben grundplan med køkken, spiseplads, rummelig stue og halv bad. Ejeren har tilføjet sin særlige touch til en meget smagfuld og original indretning - moderne og hyggeligt på samme tid. Stuen har et fladskærms-tv og video og dvd-afspillere og der er også fuld størrelse sovesofa. Trådløst internet er tilgængeligt. Måske er den bedste funktion af villaen det store bageste dæk - meget privat, pænt møbleret (selv en beroligende fontæne) og smukt anlagt. Ovenpå er de to soveværelser med en queen size seng i master og to tvillinger i det andet soveværelse. Føreren har et fladskærms-tv, og de to soveværelser deler en hall bad. Vaskemaskine og tørretumbler er også placeret ovenpå. Der er loft fans i hele villaen.

Stone's Throw har en fælles pool. Du vil ikke fortryde din ferie i denne dejlige bolig.

The property was perfect for our stay!

We were walking distance from the beach. The pool at the complex was right in front of the unit and the upstairs/downstairs made the place plenty big for the whole family! We loved it!

Vacation in Hilton Heads resort

This property has great location. It has everything that was advertised, my only complaint is that the pool was not heated and it was impossible to swim in it due to cold nights. The check-in process has little bump - we did not get information that parking permit would be issued on arrival at the gate. Instead we were instructed by an agent at the rental company (Vacasa) - we called ahead of arrival - that permit would be in the outdoor box. We arrived after closing time. So we went there and did not find the permit. When I called property manager I got the right information. The condo was easy ti find and enter, it was clean and ready for us. We enjoyed our stay there and would recommend it to our friends.

Functional Condo close to the beach

This condo was a great location - just a short walk to the beach and directly across from the pool. It is in need of some updates (the dishwasher soap dispenser didn't open, the handle was falling off the microwave, and the couch/pullout mattress had springs coming through) but it was clean and the other beds were comfortable. Don't count on using the pullout mattress but otherwise it had everything we needed!

Definitely a stones throw from the beach

The condo was very clean. There was only a short walk to the beach. Wonderful restaurants within 5 minute drive. Very beautiful area.

Enjoyed first time to Hilton Head

We really enjoyed our week at Hilton Head Island and were very happy with the condo at Stones Throw. Check in was easy and everything was clean when we arrived and well stocked with towels, dish detergents etc. Internet access was good. Kitchen was very well equipped for cooking our own meals. The only couple of negatives was that the living room was a bit dark and sparsely furnished and there were only 3 chairs at the dining table (two of the living room chairs worked OK as dining chairs though). The bed in the master was a bit on the softer side for me, but that's a matter op preference. Locating was great. Beach was beautiful and an easy 5-10 minutes walks. Plenty of shopping was close by too. The pool was fantastic and right across from the condo. There were very few people using it and many times we had it all to ourselves. The pool and grounds in general were well kept and nicely set with plenty of tall shade trees. Overall a good experience and would come back.

Needs Deep Cleaning, but good location

I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the unit--the walls and banister were dirty, and it just had an overall not-quite-clean feel. We could not find the linens for the sofa pull out bed (which is VERY small), and finally found that they were in the very bottom of a bag of towels. We were glad to find them, but it was a frustrating hunt, especially when our kids were tired and ready to go to bed. We also were annoyed that there were no pillows for the pull out bed that would fit in the shams provided--they were all mismatched throw pillows or big square ones that didn't fit in the shams. We finally had to pull decorative pillows out of their shams instead, which were kind of gross and need to be replaced. Also, the description said that the bed in the master bedroom was a queen, but it looked like a double, although it was actually a pretty comfortable bed, thankfully. We also didn't like the fact that we had to check-in and check out at a place that was a 10-minute drive from our unit. All of those things aside, the property was in a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk from the beach. The washer and dryer were nice to have, and we liked that the front porch had a gated area where we could store our bikes easily. So overall, although it needed to be cleaned better & really needs some paint & bedding supplies, it grew on us and we mostly enjoyed our stay.

Safety and cleanliness Issues

Outside of the location of this unit, it leaves much to be desired. We reached out to the management company and they did send someone to address a couple of the cleaning issues, but not all of them. Even though we sent multiple pictures of gross walls, light switches, dirty floors, etc upon arrival, the representative at the mtg company stated she couldn’t understand as the unit had a deep cleaning before we came. The management company did not follow up with us to see if the issues were resolved. We also expressed concern over the back patio area as the branch was rotted and sharp nails were exposed. The deck is DANGEROUS and we could not be out there because of rotting boards, covered by a mat and an attempt with furniture to mask it. The whole unit needs walls washed, the fridge cleaned, and the kitchen stocked with cooking supplies. We could tell at one time this unit was great, but it needs work to be clean and safe. The unit is close to the pool and near beach access.

Close to Beach!

Great location, roomy, but master bed is terrible

The location is great, a short walk to the beach and right next to the community pool. The community pool was never crowded so we got to use it basically by ourselves which was great. It is also very close to several attractions and a grocery store. The property itself is nice. It is very spacious, which was great for the kids to play in. Bedrooms are large and it was nice to have a bathroom on both levels. The only reason why I'm listing a 3 star rating is because the master bed was bad. Both my wife and I had pretty severe neck pain the whole trip because the bed is completely warn out. The second bedroom beds are much better.

Wonderful Stay

Overall enjoyed this property very much. Great location and short walk to the beach. Close to many shops and restaurants. Spacious living room and kitchen. Check in process was very fast and easy, owners were nice. Definitely recommend this property!!!!

This place was really nice and quiet and a short distance from the beach. Only complaint the cleaning of the unit itself was not done so well. Needs to be updated some as well doors are falling apart handles coming off. But overall we would stay here again.

Mostly Very Nice, just a few little glitches

The condo was nicely done, clean and comfortable. The only problem that we had was that there was no silverware in the kitchen, the 4 drawers next to the refrigerator were glued shut. When we arrived, the front door was ajar and the key was in the door, a little scary at first, but everything seemed in tact when we finally decided it was safe to enter. I would suggest that the owners have the carpet cleaned, many stains on the carpet. All in all it was a pleasant stay, my Niece only lives a few condos from this one so it was very convenient .
