Lake views were amazing. So were the sunrises and the harvest full moon! Enjoyed kayaking on the lake. The home was lovely, very comfortable in every way. The kitchen was fully stocked! Thank you to our host! She was the best, very helpful! Suggested places to hike, eat, grocery stores and wineries. Home was centrally located for so many activities we planned to visit. We highly recommend staying here.

Perfect setting and location for our retirement girls’ weekend. Being right on the water was so tranquil & I, personally, couldn’t get enough of the view from the sunporch. The location was perfect for easily getting out to all the places we visited. The kitchen was very, well-stocked for the evenings we made dinner in. I’d definitely stay here again if visiting the Finger Lakes area.

Lori’s home was wonderful! The home provided plenty of space with fantastic views. Communicating with Lori was easy, and she was very responsive to any questions. Great location for all the excursions planned on our “girl’s trip” - hiking Watkins Glen and Taughannock Falls, Seneca Lake dinner cruise, Corning Museum of Glass, Red Tail Ridge Winery, antiquing, fishing and kayaking. Would love to come back again!

I just wanted to share our fantastic experience during our stay at this charming waterfront retreat in the Finger Lakes. We had an exceptional time! The house was spotless and incredibly accommodating for our group of six (four adults and two kids). Lori, the host, was wonderful, communicating with us before, during, and after our stay to ensure we had everything we needed.Our group loves to cook, so we were thrilled with the well-equipped kitchen, complete with all the utensils and cooking equipment required to whip up delicious meals. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, providing us with the best nights of sleep, thanks to the cozy beds and cool breezes flowing through the open windows.The living space was fantastic! The common areas and the wrap-around deck allowed us to easily gather together or find a quiet moment alone. The lakefront exceeded our expectations with its beautiful dock, private beach, and swimmable water to cool off in. Plus, we had the unique experience of renting a pontoon and with the owners' permission docking it overnight, giving us seamless access to the entire lake.The surrounding area offered good food and entertainment. We hiked at Watkins Glen State Park, enjoyed dinners in Penn Yan, and made a trip to Wegmans in Geneva. This was our first visit to the Finger Lakes region, and it certainly won't be our last. We loved the modern conveniences while still feeling the quaint, rural escape from our busy lives.

This is our favorite joint vacation of the year. We have two families stay every summer, which is quite comfortable in the three bedrooms. The house is clean, well stocked and decorated, and in the ideal location for enjoying the lake and local wineries/breweries and shops. Lori is an exceptional host! Thank you for another fantastic week- looking forward to our fifth year!

The house was in a perfect location! It was great to have a lakefront view and campfire. The only issue is that if your handicap or have any knee issues there are a lot of steps to get into the property. The home decor was really nice; however, it could have been cleaned a little better. I would recommend this property to anyone just hope that Lori will look into the cleaning situation. Lori and her husband were very kind and checked in with us!!

Wonderful waterfront place to stay. In addition to the beautiful lakeside location, it feels like a home and not like one of the one of the mega-mangaged by an agency places. Great communications with owners before and during our stay. Our grandkids loved what they called the "secret beach" which is the city beach adjacent to the property - it's small but has a nice sandy place for kids to play. The one caveat is that there are pretty step stairs down to the house and in the house. But overall a great place and we hope to return.

Family stay second year in a row

We stayed at the property last summer and enjoyed our stay so much we decided to book again for this year. However, there were some things last year we chose not to say anything about, thinking they were just overlooked. Though, this year, some items were in poorer condition versus last year.

Relaxing stay at the lake

We had a lovely week at the lake house. It was very clean and comfortable. There were four kayaks available for us to use and also a very nice firepit. Nice deck over the water to listen to the waves. We spent a lot of time in the sunroom.

Our Yearly Lake Trip

We have been coming to this beautiful lake home for 3 years and will continue to be back. The house is well stocked and clean. It is in a perfect location for outings and walks around the town (we use the playground and tennis courts a lot). Lori is extremely easy to communicate with and ensures a seamless stay. I highly recommend this property.

Lake House on Seneca

The property was very clean and ready for our arrival. Nice, quiet setting right on the lake. We were able to dock our pontoon boat right there, which was wonderful! Enjoyed fishing off the dock and a fire each night. On our first full day, we found that the refrigerator was not very cold so we contacted the owner. We figured that out, using the wine fridge and a dorm sized fridge. But on our last day, we were contacted that a new fridge was arriving, prior to us checking out. This interrupted our plans for that morning, wasting our last day there. We certainly understood the need for replacing it for the next renters, but it was at our expense. When we contacted the owner regarding this, we never received a response. This was a disappointing end to an otherwise enjoyable week at the lake.

Perfect place to relax

A perfect place to share with family. Every gadget you need to create great meals with lots of plates, bowls, silverware and pots/pans. Water so relaxing, having the use of kayaks and life jackets was a great bonus. The water is shallow at lake edge so looking for beach glass and playing in the water was nice. Swimming off the end of dock nice because we could stand and kids could jump in. The porch was great for morning coffee, games at the table and evening cocktails. Wineries and breweries close by for visiting. Great place to land for vacation.

Perfect stay on the lake

We've rented several houses on Lake Geneva, and this was by far the nicest. The house was immaculate and exactly as described. The communication with the owners before and during the stay was excellent. Most importantly, this is not a cookie cutter rental. It's a house that the people live in when it's not being rented, and it shows. I hope we will have the chance to stay here again.

Family Trip

We bring my sister-in-law up to the finger lakes every year for a family reunion. Love to stay at the lake house as you can get no closer to the lake. Excellent as always.

Amazing Lake House

This home ticked off every box for us. Charm, immaculately clean, comfortable, amenities and location. Everything we wanted to do was within our reach. The owner, Lori, was incredibly helpful with winery and restaurant suggestions which were thoroughly enjoyed by us. What I will miss most is the early cool mornings, enjoying coffee and conversation with my daughters around the fire pit on the beach looking out over beautiful Seneca Lake. Total peace, love and tranquility. You will have no regrets if you choose to stay here. I know i will be back. Thank you Lori and Eric for sharing your lovely home.

Seneca Lake family trip

Excellent property, even better than what the photos depict. Perfect location on the west side of Seneca Lake. Short drives to both Geneva, Watkins Glen, and Penn Yan. Breweries and wineries are located very close to the property. Lori was very responsive and helpful with any questions we sent her way. Beautiful views of the lake. Multiple outdoor sitting areas. Used the waterfront fire pit a few nights. Enjoyed the kayaks that are provided. Already booked a longer stay in 2024. Thank you!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at the property! The house was clean and had everything we needed to have a fun week at the lake. We spent a lot of time on the sun porch. The kayaks were so much fun. We will miss floating in the lake and sipping wine on the dock!

Perfect place for our family

House was clean, check in and out were easy. Our toddler loved the sand pit and we loved looking for rocks and sea glass in the beach areas as well as having our morning coffee on the deck. Would definitely stay again, great location!

Family vacation

We had a great time at Lori and Eric’s lake house. The house was exceptionally clean! The kitchen was well stocked and they left a binder filled with great information about the area. Lori and Eric were quick to respond to emails and texts. We had a death in our family right before our vacation. Lori was so supportive during this difficult time. We truly appreciated her kindness ❤️. Lori and Eric are the best of the best! We highly recommend this house to any family looking to get away for a week to relax, go fishing, visit wineries, go on bike rides and hikes. Thank you Lori and Eric!
