We're always disappointed when guests dont have a great time and we apologize for not meeting your expectations. We are very upfront with the fact that this is a 100 year old home which is what makes it so unique. In this situation, Linda only spent one night at the house before claiming there was mold. We offered to send out a professional mold inspector and refund her if any mold or mildew was found. She declined our offer. Upon inspection, our cleaners found the area in question to be chipped paint. It is true that leaves were in the pool, but it is not true that the pool was dirty or unusable. It simply required the pool vac to be turned on. The speak easy bed did have a broken leg and was immediately repaired once we were made aware of it. Lightning in the area had damaged the wifi router, but it was repaired before they checked in. We had authentic 1940s newspapers in the 40s room but have since removed pictures of hitler and replaced them with other articles. Linda checked in on a Saturday which can be a heavier traffic night. We believe this is what caused her to create other reasons, true or not, to check out early and leave a bad review. Had she stayed more than one night we believe the sound wouldn't have been an issue. To be safe, we now provide sound machines for all the bedrooms.
