We booked this garden-level Clifton apartment for a trip through Manassas, and it made an easy, comfortable home base — I'd stay again without hesitation. The space is roomy and clearly set up for people who like to gather and play. A pool table doubles as the dining table, there's room to spread out for cards, and the in-home theater with an Xbox makes this a genuine draw for gamers of every kind — we got good use out of all of it. The kitchen is a real kitchen, with full working appliances and a dishwasher, and the in-unit washer/dryer made a multi-day stay simple. Heads-up: the microwave is mounted higher than usual above the stove, so shorter guests may need a reach.Location was a quiet strength. It sits well between the suburbs we were visiting, nothing more than about a 30-minute drive, with shopping close by and groceries even closer. The host was responsive throughout and checked in by message each day, which we appreciated. Two honest notes. The exercise equipment needed repair during our stay, so I wouldn't count on it for workouts. And the path to the apartment is laid with square pavers, several of which were loose and wobbly underfoot, so it isn't well-suited to anyone with an unsteady gait or a fall risk. Worth knowing before you book if that affects you or someone in your party. All told: a spacious, well-located, game-friendly place with a gracious host. We'd happily return.
