We had 20 family members enjoy staying at the cabin, and we had a wonderful time! There was plenty of room, beautiful views, and the passes to Ideal Beach were a real bonus! The location was only 4 minutes to the beach, and just a short drive into Garden City. The cabin was beautiful! The only complaint we had is that there was not a railing on the front stairs. My husband and I had to go around to the back of the cabin to go up the ramp to enter. It worked okay, but why not build a railing on at least one side of the stairs that we could have held on to? We just could not safely use the stairs without a railing. Everything else was very enjoyable!

Nice Family Reunion Spot

Lots of room inside! Loved the Ideal Beach passes. Bear Lake is beautiful. The kids loved the ping pong table and X-box. The view from the deck was wonderful. The kitchen set up was roomy and lots of room for lots of people to eat. The front stairs were steep with no railing but there is a ramp up on to the back deck that makes it easy to get inside. The grill was dirty so I suggest bringing your own camp chef or grill to cook on outside. Overall it was a perfect spot for a multi-generational family event! The host was easy to communicate with and friendly.

Fun extended family time

Last year I suggested new stairs to the front door were greatly needed. I was pleasantly surprised to see that new stairs were installed, however there is still a need for handrails. The stairs are not safe for children or the elderly.

Lovely cabin - great location.

This cabin is beautiful and our large family group had a great time. Loved having access to Ideal Beach! The only negative thing we found were the stairs leading to the front door. They are treacherous! They are tilted to one side and some of the treads lean forward, but the worst thing is that there are no hand rails! We would love to rent this cabin again, but we hope the owners would consider improving the stairs. Thanks!

Perfect House Perfect Location

We gathered our family for a reunion and we picked the perfect place. Plenty of space for all our everyone to gather but enough space for privacy when needed. Bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious. Plenty of parking. Equipped well. Bonus access to Ideal beach amenities. Only negative was the front entrance staircase was steep with no railings. Concerns for elderly parents and small children coming up and down. Luckily they could enter on the back around to the front sliding doors. That solution was more than fine. Highly suggest booking a stay.

Great parking, location, and size for our family reunion

We loved this cabin! First, we easily parked three boats with trucks as well as 5+ additional vehicles around the cabin. That's a huge deal at Bear Lake. We also loved the access and proximity to Ideal Beach Resort. We used the beach every day and some even played pickle ball there. The rooms and beds were comfortable, although it took us quite a while to cool down the cabin when we first got there. Once cooled off, it stayed comfortable. Note the upstairs was definitely warmer than the downstairs. We loved the amount of fridge space on the main floor and downstairs. The only drawback we saw was the limited number of bathrooms (only 3), but we just coordinated with each other and it worked out. We would definitely stay here again, and we appreciated the quick response from Micah when we booked the place one week before. Micah was very attentive.

Awesome Location, Great Space for Family

We had a family reunion here, and it was a wonderful space for that. The lofts were super fun for the kids, and there were many ping pong tournaments in the basement. It was great to have everyone under one roof. Being able to go to Ideal Beach was perfect- no one was ever bored with so many fun options so close by. Also, amazing views of the lake and spectacular sunsets every night. A few things we noticed that were minor issues: A few outlets didn't work, the ice maker in the fridge didn't work, and the basketball game in the basement didn't work. The outside deck railings are quite weathered and uncomfortable to touch- felt like a splinter waiting to happen. It also gets quite hot up on the third loft level, but the basement dwellers were frozen out. None of these things ruined our stay, but just things we noticed that could have been a little better. Again, we had an absolute blast and created tons of memories. The owners are super nice and attentive, which we really appreciated. Thanks for everything!

Great Bear Lake Property

This was an amazing location at Bear Lake, right on the golf course with some amazing views. We really enjoyed the stay and had a amazing time. I would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful property with great views

Everything was as advertised. We loved our stay and the home accommodated our family well. Plenty of parking for vehicles and toys and the kids loved all the games in the basement and sleeping in the loft. Ideal beach access was a huge bonus and we enjoyed our time there. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely place for large groups

Communication with Kevin was good. The cabin was large, kitchen & dining area is perfect for cooking & serving a large group. We had 33, including 6 couples, young adults, teens, tweens, children, & a toddler. The wifi was glitchy - only a few of us could get on at a time, & the router is known to overheat & needs to be reset. That never completely solved the issue. The router would do better if it was off the carpet. Access to Ideal Beach was fantastic! We spent 2 days there, rented a boat, paddle boards, & jet skis, & also enjoyed the pools. There were enough pillows & linens for us in the summer - maybe there are more blankets available in winter. The very top loft was super fun for the kids, but uncomfortably warm, even with the attic fan running 24/7. I’m glad we brought our own fan from home to keep the kiddos cool. Something that surprised us - most of the sliding doors & windows do not have screens. We would have run the A/C less if we’d been able to pull in outside air without letting in the bugs. The large living room & the downstairs family room are wonderful gathering places for devotionals & movie nights! The ping pong table was enjoyed by all! We even hung a few hammocks outside off the walkout basement. Beach toys & 4 beach chairs were also appreciated. Double sets of washers & dryers helped us get all the bath linens washed & dried before we checked out (required by host). Overall, this was a great place for our family reunion & we appreciate the opportunity. Thanks, Kevin!

Super Family Reunion Spot

We had five families plus Grandma and Grandpa(me) with all ages. The multiple ovens, ranges, and fridges were perfect for our meals and the cabin with open family space, bedrooms, decks, and view over the golf course we’re just what we’re needed. Good access to lake and facilities. We’ll worth the money. Thank you

Family reunion

All 25 of us had a blast! Having access to Ideal Beach by renting this property made all the difference to having a fabulous time. Plenty of sleeping space for everyone. I would rent again.

Roomy Vacation Home in a Great Location

This is a spacious vacation home for a gathering of an extended famIly of up to 30. Free access to the nearby Ideal Beach Resort facilities and amenities is a big plus, and it is adjacent to a golf course. It has beautiful views of the golf course and Bear Lake in the distance. The house also has amenities for family fun. We enjoyed an excellent family reunion here.

Great place

We had a wonderful family reunion. Great location. Plenty of beds and room to spread out for our kids and grandkids. Close to the beach. Micah was great to answer questions and check in was smooth. We give him and his cabin 5 stars.

Super close to all the things!

This place was awesome, loved that it had enough bedrooms (all with queen beds) for all the couples in our party to have their own rooms! Our only complaint was the lack of coffee pot/cups.

Kitchen needs better knives or a knive sharpener. Coffee Mugs and coffee maker. Bring a coffee maker.

I felt at home

The openness of the home welcomed our family reunion. Everyone enjoyed eating, playing and meeting together. I told my kids the only complaint I had about the home was that I didn't own it. We had so much fun strengthening family bonds and building new and lasting family memories. Next time we go to Bear Lake we want to use this place again.

This spacious cabin is clean, has a rustic feel and felt like home. It was very comfortable.

Beautiful scenery along the golf course and on the mountainside, great view of Bear Lake. We loved the wrap around deck. The kids loved the loft and three of them slept of there.

Return for a 2nd year!

Plenty of space to feed and sleep our group of 22. The kids like to sleep in the loft... and horse around, of course. Couples with little ones each get a room. There's enough beds/futon for our teens, too. Having lots of fridge space is easy for feeding a crowd. Ideal beach & toy rental, pools, pickleball & mini-golf seemed to keep us all frolicking!
