Velkommen til vores lille del af verden. I et godt skjult og beskyttet sted i centrum af South Carolina Coastal Low Country, hviler Edisto Island. Edisto er rig på historie, dyreliv og naturlig skønhed, mens den opretholder en stærk position til at modstå ændringer, der ikke er gavnlige for vores samfund. Fraværet af støj, trafiklys, overbelastning og kommercialisme appellerer til både beboere og besøgende. Et besøg i Edisto er sikker på at vinde din godkendelse, forudsat at du nyder en afslappet og afslappet livsstil.

En tur fra Edisto Beach til centrum af Charleston vil tage ca. 1 time og 15 minutter.

Når du bor på The Plantation Villas, er den smukke golfbane, Pro Shop, Putting Green og 1. tee alt sammen i din mening.

En runde golf på den smukke Plantation Course og et besøg i The Plantation Pro Shop er et must for enhver gæst. Til shopping eller bare for at surfe vil du have det sjovt og nyde et dejligt udvalg af damer og herres tøj, gaver og tilbehør.

Plantationskursen blev oprindeligt åbnet i 1974 med Sam Snead ramt det første skud på banen, der derefter blev navngivet Oristo. En komplet renovering blev afsluttet i 2006, hvilket giver kurset et nyt look og en forpligtelse til året rundt konditionering.

Beliggende blandt kæmpe levende egetræer, magnolier og høje palmer, er det sikker på at udfordre golfentusiast fra alle kvalifikationsniveauer. Nøjagtighed spiller en større præmie end afstand på Par 70 ... 6.130 yardlayout. Du skal prøve ikke at blive distraheret af det rigelige dyreliv, der tilføjer skønhed til banen. Hvis du nyder Edisto og South Carolina Low Country, er du sikker på at enige om, at The Plantation Course giver en golfoplevelse, som den var beregnet til at være.

Villa nr. 22 har 4 soveværelser, hver med 2 senge / privat bad til hvert soveværelse / TV i hvert soveværelse / stor spisestue (bord til 8) / opholdsstue, sovesofa, stole, stort TV / 2 verandaer / smukke møbler. Alle sengetøj og oprydningsgebyr er inkluderet.

Plenty of room and close to great island amenities

Large property (there were 8 of us and it was perfect). It was great to have bathrooms for every guest room. There’s a television in each room to accommodate all visitors. Two porches to enjoy the weather. Great choice for a large family gathering at the beach.

Wonderful Stay - Our Second Tine

We've stayed in King Cotton 22 twice now. We've been visiting Edisto for over 20 years and have stayed in various locations. We like the layout, location and set-up of King Cotton 22. Also, my brother loved having access to the Blackstone Grill for fish tacos. King Cotton is always very clean, fresh and comfortable. If you have young children, the location is GREAT to walk to the pool, playground and cafe. 5 Stars for a great stay!

VERY COMFORTABLE and ATTRACTIVE ACCOMODATIONS BUT....

we do have a few disappointments. (1) The ice maker did not work. It was slow to make ice from the start, then just stopped completely. No ice for most of the week. (2) Fix front patio door as the latch gets stuck and won't open. Glad we were inside when it happened as it was very hot while there. (3) A few bulbs were out of the light fixtures/lamps.(three over the dining room table alone) (4) Ceiling fan light would not work in one of the two back bedrooms (the right bedroom if facing back of building) (5) The bed linens simply did not look clean. Crisp white sheets and towels with thinner wash cloths and simple, but very clean bedspreads would be preferred (6) Many of the rugs' corners were curled up and were tripping hazards (7) Some of the refrigerator's door racks (two, I think) were missing decreasing much needed door storage space. (8) the washing machine was a bit too small for a family of four + two grandparents, and the folding door was in the way of where you add the detergent, etc. Otherwise, #17 Plantation Villas was a great place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. One word of caution to other renters: Wyndham fell down when it came to its "amenities pass" so double check before you purchase one. The beach trolley wasn't working, two of the three pools were not open, and the one that was open was mediocre to put it mildly. And they doubled the price over what they quoted us in May. ($280 vs. $140) Our teenage girls were very disappointed as the amenities were a real drawing card for them. However, we found that going to the beach and enjoying fishing and sunsets over on Big Bay Creek were much better , not to mention FREE , alternatives. We also enjoyed J. Peters Restaurant which was directly behind our unit as well as Sea Cow Eatery and Flowers Seafood which has great fresh seafood but also cooked seafood when the food truck is open.Also, if you have never seen Painted Buntings, take the walk to Botany Bay's Boneyard Beach. Their colors will amaze you! Thank you, Duane, for all your help in arranging our stay. We will definitely consider a return visit.

Dear Sandy, We are glad you enjoyed your stay at The Plantation Villas and thanks for your input on what needs to be addressed. Had we known some of the issues we could have helped during your stay. As for the ice, I would like to explain that due to the Town of Edisto's poor water quality, the ice machines ares not connected in any of our 4 Villas. However, we do fill it with ice at the beginning of each stay along with an extra bag ice. We will look into correcting the other mentioned issues. We are also sorry to hear Wyndham Amenities were not satisfactory. We were unaware of any scheduled pool closings or rate increases until recently. Again, thanks for your input and we hope you will visit us again. The Plantation Villas

Great townhouse at Edisto Beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. The unit was exactly as listed. It has four bedrooms, each room can accommodate two people. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, which is perfect. The kitchen and living area are very functional and nice. There are two porches, one of them facing the golf course. The host is very responsive and helpful. The check-in process is very easy. The price is very reasonable. Overall, we have a very pleasant experience!

Cousin camp

The condo is very nice. It has all the comforts of home. I couldn’t be more pleased. My 4 grandchildren ages 6,9,10 and 13 had a great time at the pool as well as the beach. Wish we didn’t have to drive to beach, but it did not lessen our wonderful week. We all have wonderful memories.

Great property.

This is a wonderful property that worked very well for our extended holiday vacation. It was very clean and well-furnished and property manager was extremely helpful. Can't beat this location!

You must book!

Book now, thank me later. My family and I book alot of rental properties and this has by far been the most pleasant experience. Mr. Duane has made sure our stay was nothing but amazing. He was easy to access and ready available to make sure our stay was great. The property itself was clean. It had pots, and the essentials you need for your stay. It's located about 10 minutes from the beach. It's nice and quite.

Very nice and spacious!

Had a great experience renting both condos next door to eachother (villas 22 & 24). Between the two we had plenty of kitchen equipment and beds for all 10 of us. We had intended to bring two more but they were hit with the virus and couldn’t make it. The beach is a drive but easy and not crowded at all. The pools are currently not open to amenity passes but we didn’t get bored. Everyone was nice and Duane took care of any small issues quickly.

Great place for a family of four

Wedding Weekend

Wedding Weekend at Edisto. We needed a large place for family members to congregate. The unit was very large, well appointed and every bedroom had it's own bathroom (big plus) with an extra bathroom on the main living floor. Very large dining room table for the family to sit around and visit. Would definitely recommend!!

Nice place to stay!

Property was as described and pictures were accurate. Everyone there was very helpful and nice! The only issue we had were with the beds. They were hard and squeaked with every turn, which did not make for a good nights sleep. That is really the only reason I did not give it 5 stars. The pots and pans need to be replaced, we ended up purchasing our own. The property had just come under new managment, I believe, and newly listed with VRBO and I expect these things will be addressed. Would stay there again and would recommend to friends and family. The property was close to the beach and the pool and other activities provided by the neighbor property were very close, we walked there with small children. The grounds were very nice and we all felt safe walking out and about and exploring.

VERY Happy!

This location and home were more than we could have asked for. Located directly on the golf course and only a 10 minute walk to the beach we were extremely pleased. The Villa is MUCH larger than the pictures led on. The quality of all the appliances were top notch. Overall I was really pleased and enjoyed myself thoroughly. We will definitely come back if we ever get them time!

*****UNBELIEVABLE CONDO*****

THIS CONDO WAS WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS!!! I HAVE BEEN REFERRING ALL MY FREINDS AND FAMILY. DUANE WAS EXTRAORDINARY! HE WAS REALLY A BLESSING, HE WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO MAKE SURE WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE CONDO WAS SUPER CLEAN AND VERY WELL EQUIPPED. I CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT HOW SPACIOUS AND NICE IT WAS! THE PHOTOS DO NOT DO IT JUSTICE. THE PLANTATION VILLAS HAVE MUCH BIGGER ROOMS THAN MOST OF THE HOUSES ON THE ISLAND. THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. WE CANNOT WAIT TO COME BACK. AS I SAID, WE ARE TELLING EVERYONE ABOUT IT!!!!

Great Accommodations, Location and Management

My family and I have visited Edisto Beach several times and thoroughly enjoy it. Our stay at the Plantation Villas has only help solidify it as one our favorite vacation spots. The villa was very spacious and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and dining areas were very large and could easily accommodate large groups. The living room was well appointed and comfortable with a nice tv. There were definitely more than enough bathrooms. Being located within the Wyndham Ocean Ridge Resort just steps away from the golf pro shop, Grover's restaurant and golf course were an added benefit. Even with these surrounds, the villas were exceptionally quiet. We often found ourselves on the back porch relaxing listening to the birds and watching the golfers tee off at hole #1. If you have children, I would also recommend that you inquire about purchasing a recreation pass separately through the Wyndham resort to have access to the local amenities, such as the pool, beach cabana and putt-putt course. Our only recommendation would be to upgrade and add some more pots and pans, besides that this was a great place to stay. Finally, I would like to thank the Planation Villa staff. They were very pleasant and went out their way to answer our questions and assist us. They even helped us make an appointment with the local doctor when our son got ill.

Great Place

My family and I stayed here a week and thoroughly enjoyed this villa. The five bathrooms were really nice...one for each bedroom and the one downstairs...very convenient. We enjoyed the porch overlooking #9 green...the spacious kitchen and den and the large screen TV. I have stayed in various houses/condos on Edisto (my favorite place) and this one was one of the best! Would rent again!

Large, roomy & beautifully decorated villa overlooking very nice golf course.

We enjoyed our stay at Edisto in the Plantation Villas! Villa was decorated beautifully, & had large kitchen & living room with very nice big flat screen tv. Each bedroom also had smaller flat screens mounted on the wall. Was very clean & well maintained and had everything we needed! There was not a ton of pots & pans if you have a large group & will be cooking a bunch, but there was more than enough to cook everything we needed. Enjoyed dinner right next door at Grover's restaurant 2 nights which was great as well. Very easy to book & they even supplied several bags of ice in the freezer for our coolers to take on the beach or golf course & stocked the fridge with bottled waters. Thanks for a great stay!! Would definitely recommend to anyone & will book again on our return visits.
