I’ll start with the location, property, and amenities are exactly what we were looking for. Having a home base with easy access to pools, poolside snacks, and the beach was wonderful. The condo was large with plenty of space. It fit our family of 6 well. Take note: to use the front door lock, you have to lay your whole hand across the keypad to turn it on. This is not communicated anywhere. We had to call the on-call service and have it remotely unlocked. It took about 24 hours and several conversations with different people before this was clarified. Additionally, the ladder to the bunkbed was broken and upon being repaired on day 2 of our trip, it became obvious it was not original to the set and could not be used safely. If you NEED the bunkbed for your sleeping arrangements, make sure the child going on the top is comfortable climbing. Lastly, the parking passes needed for the garage were not visibly placed or filled out. We received parking violation warnings before we were able to reach the rental company and learn they store the blank parking passes under the sink. Overall, I would rent in this complex again. I hope this review potentially helps anyone experiencing similar issues with this specific unit.

Great Condo, Great Beach

We really enjoyed our stay here. Tybee has so much to offer for a beachy vacation. This condo with its patio was amazing, and super close to pools and beach. Every restaurant we went to was 5 stars out of 5, too.

Great Location

We loved our stay at Tybee Beach. We were never had to leave the property to access the beach. The pools were nice. The food on the property and at the local restaurants is really good. We loved being close to Savannah and Hilton Head too. Highly recommend this property.

Great find!

I surprised my mom with a mini vacation to stay in this house. She really enjoyed it! Very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. I highly recommend this house!

Great!

We loved our stay here! The hot tub is perfect and the pools are fun. It’s not directly oceanfront but it’s just a quick walk around the corner of the building to see the ocean :) It was well equipped and we enjoyed it.

Nice family place

We had a great stay at this condo. It was clean and we all loved the hot tub. The restaurant was close by and had great food and the pools were nice. Our only issue was that the queen bed was squeaky and uncomfortable, it needs replacing (especially at this price point, it’s fair to expect a bed we can use). We loved our stay otherwise and would return if we knew the queen bed was replaced.

Girls week

Best friends get together for the week. Really comfortable and great location. Pool/beach and amenities were super close. The whole complex was clean and easy to navigate. Having the Deck restaurant right here was not only convenient but delicious. A total "do over".

Tybee Time

The condo was awesome. Once we found it. The directions did not tell us it was above the parking area. The weather was perfect. Pirate fest was a blast.

Short family getaway

We had a wonderful time staying at this unit and would gladly come again. The beach access is excellent as well as the multiple pools on the property. The room was spacious and as described, but more attention to detail in cleaning would be appreciated. We made use of both the trundle bed in the bunk room and the pull out couch and both had items from previous visitors in them, which likely indicates that they aren’t cleaned each time. Overall we were very happy with our stay and will keep it in mind the next time we are in the area.

When we arrived, our room had not been cleaned. We called and the person said they would notify someone. Called back 30 minutes later and he said the cleaning crew would be there within 30 minutes. 45 minutes go by and the cleaning crew shows up to clean the place. There was no offer for a later check out or anything to make up for the time we lost just waiting. The hot tub was set to 80 and we weren’t able to use it until much later in The evening. Aside from that, the keypad on the door was a bit of a pain to type in the door combo. The condo overall was nice, in a good location, and massive.

Fan in patio area in need of repair. Dead cockroach in patio area observed upon arrival. Sliding doors need to be adjusted and tracks cleaned. Stove has an electrical issue.

Great beach and pool area with ease of access.

Overall, the unit was spacious and clean. However, both showers were, for lack of a better word, gross. They have not been cleaned properly in some time. Lots of hard water buildup, crusty, black spots (mold?), rust spots, mildew spots, shower pan was blackened and not the cream color of the rest of the shower….you get the idea. That was really the only issue. Well-stocked, easy to check in and out, packet with plenty of instructions. Communications with rentalcompany were easy. The a/c went out the first night we were there and they got it fixed as fast as they could. The on-site restaurant, The Deck, was absolutely amazing. Hot tub was a nice touch. Pool area is nice. Access to beach was easy and there were showers prior to coming back into pool area. The beach is one of the best we’ve been to. Clean, flat, plenty of beach. I would recommend the unit and rental company.

We were excited to come back to beachside colony and have had great experiences with a different condo in years prior but this time was beyond disappointing. The property advertised bunk beds in one of the rooms and upon arrival the bunk bed was wobbling badly and pieces had broken off the bed. It looked to us and the handy man, that the property management company sent over, unsafe and as if it could fall over when anyone tried to climb it. We were very concerned about a child sleeping on the top and bottom bunk. With check in at 4pm by the time the handyman finished the property management company was closed. We were stuck with no options but to unpack and make dinner so we could get our family to bed. After dinner, I went to load the dishwasher and found it full of mold. I tried to clean it out and run it but it doesn’t work. Many of the dishes were dirty upon arrival and all of our feet were black after walking around the condo. One of the outdoor table tops was missing a huge piece of wood. There was also sharp debris and a broken drain cover on the patio.The hot tub was at first turned off and required another call to property management to get running. Then it began overheating and was too hot to use the entire week. The owner of the property never contacted us and the property management company did not do enough to rectify the situation.

This property was nice! I wanted to give it five stars, but we did have a couple problems with our stay. The parking was confusing, and we didn’t know we had to have parking passes so we had to look around the condo and they ended up being under the sink. I just think that should be in the info. The dishes were not clean! We had to rewash every mug we used because they still had coffee residue and crusted food on them. One of our bunk beds were not made, so we had to find the sheets to make them. Our door lock pad was also low on battery so it would often turn off on us when we tried to input the code. Other than the negative, our stay was great! The amenities were nice, such as the hot tub and the pool, and the condo was very close to the beach. This was our first time visiting Tybee and we were very pleased.

I messaged host via the app 2 times. Never received a response, figured things out for ourselves. Did receive text messages from Tybee Vac Rentals about codes. Should be specific that they only communicate via the text message and not the VRBO app. Codes provided but could not open door, luckily gentlemen from parking garage helped us - needed an * at end of code. Instructions with code said we didn't need to check-in. Nothing about a parking permit, the next morning we had letter about parking violation due to no permit. Again, gentlemen from parking garage helped us out. While the condo was clean, the furniture in living room, kitchen chair cushions and area rugs are in need of cleaning. Plenty of bath towels and wash clothes but only 1 hand towel per bath, 1 kitchen towel and 1 kitchen dish cloth. So, if you hadn't planned to do laundry, you have to.

Okay, but not for the price.

The condo was okay. The floors need a better wash and the dishes (esp the silverware) needed to be rewashed as there was food on some. In the bunk bedroom - my 7 yr olds were scared to sleep on the top bunk bc it swayed and moved ALOT. Also, the pillow coverings (green) were stained. Also, the pools were really cloudy and dirty and the night before our departure, the gatecode suddenly changed. Also be beware that the gate keypad for beach access was faulty as well. Overall, it was okay - I wasn't wowed. But there were no bugs or other issues so :)
