Oh James we are so sorry you had such a terrible time with our home. Had we known we would have happily come over and amended the issues. Our home is a family one and not a rental turned business property. So it does have some quirks. We did leave a note alerting you to the hot water, if you use the sink while Someone Is showering it does impact the temperature and the pressure. Our plumber has it on their list! I did not know about the outlet, nor the cleanliness, that will be addressed immediately. We don’t use AC until July, but they are available prior to upon request. The guest after you reported the lock issue and I fixed it immediately. I am so glad you found enjoyment out and about on our beautiful island.

Lori, thank you so much for your honest opinion. For future stays please never be afraid to contact the home owner to let them know your issues. I myself would have made a point to address anything I was able. As an aside it is incredibly challenging on this island to get prompt electrical or plumbing assistance due to low numbers of contractors and high rental property/summer property demand. The shower has been fixed as of last week and the electrical concern remains on their schedule. The next time you bring 21 people instead of 12 (my father in law who lives next door confirmed) please alert your host. The next time you bring a pet with you without prior permission please expect to have your host keep your security deposit. We spent significant amount of time, double what is usual, cleaning up after the animal you had on site (photos to come). Additionally we made an exception for two extra people to come free of charge, noting to you prior to that the home is not designed for that many people. This is our HOME. We vacate in the summer to share with others and provide our kids with the experience of other places when not in school. Next time, rent a house turned business turned rental, NOT a FAMILY home.

Thank you so much Beth! We did JUST replace the carpets prior to your arrival, and cleaned the carpets on the main floors, my apologies that the scent was too strong! We have since brought over a new coffee pot, I know the k-cup option is not always a favorite even when available, so there is a new coffee pot with craffe on site now. I have updated the check in instructions to auto send thank you very much for letting us know it wasn't working, I am sorry that impacted you and your group negatively. I ill also add privacy tint to the bathroom downstairs. We would love to have you back anytime, thank you for helping us make our place that much better for the next guests.
