The house was big and open. Furniture and veds comfortable and accommodating. My children loved the themed rooms. Game room was a hit. Pool heater didn't seem to work great.

The house was very clean great location to the resort amenities. Playground right across the street was so nice for the kids! We had a great stay and would stay there again. Communication was awesome. Only thing I would suggest is to have the pool area cleaned and the tree debris cleaned off the top. The pool kept getting dirty from all the leaves that were packed on the sides of the pool decking. The hosts were very prompt to clean the pool after we asked. Updating pool furniture to more loungers would be nice too there was only one lounge chair. There were baby things we used they had a stroller high chair crib. Overall would go there again!

Great house for a Disney Vacation

The house was great, the kids loved the pool at the house and the water slides at the community pool. Great location for both Disney and Universal.

We had a great stay at this property. It is a very short drive to Disney property. The location in the neighborhood is perfect for families. they playground across the street was great for the kids. We loved our stay

Disney stay

Property was accurately portrayed, very clean and well kept. Close to park and water park for kids and close to Disney. Lots for kids to do inside the game room and outside in the pool. Love the themed rooms. Wonderful property and enjoyed our stay.

Had a blast

We stayed for 5 nights and really enjoyed our time at the property. We splurged on the spa/pool heater and it was well worth it. We never really used the resort amenities but enjoyed the home and all it had to offer!

Disney Dazzles

We had a great house with excellent location. It was 6 bedrooms and lots of TVs and a games room and pool for all to enjoy.

Would stay here again

Great location. Nice, large home in a nice gated community. Check in through the gate via Lyft was inconvenient and long as we never received a gate code and the line to get in was always long. But overall we were happy with our stay.

Excellent location for Disney

This home was great for our two families w teens and tweens. It was a short drive to Disney and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool/hot tub at the end of the day. The kids loved the themed rooms and having two masters was perfect for our two families. Be sure to read the details of what is included so you pick up extra toilet paper, laundry detergent and salt/pepper. Great location and main loving space.

Great stay, smooth check in very nice community

I stayed at this house with my family and we had a good time. Great amenities, close to a mini resort with slide and pool (passes included with stay, walking distance. Great if you have kids. Neighborhood is very clean and security is top notch without worries of strangers wondering around that don't belong there. Quick response with owner/agency. All questions were answered in a quick manner.

Beautifully put together with young & old in mind

We just came back from our 2-week holiday in Disney, Orlando. Thanks to Kathy and Andy, we had a fantastic time. The clubhouse amenities in Windsor at Westside are amazing. Our grand kids enjoyed playing at the clubhouse everyday, only a 5-minut walking from the villa to the clubhouse. Everyone in our party of 12 people commented on their delight about the resort amenities. The service staff was professional, pleasant and helpful. The villa was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with attention to details. We already booked for next Fall and look forward to going back.

Vacation

The pictures of the property show a different pool and pool area. The pictures are out of date for what the pool really looks like, broken tiles that are making the bricks pop up. The picture of actual pool is from 20 years ago but you have to really look at the pictures to see the real pool as the first picture of the pool in ad is someone else's pool. Please make owners have current pictures of there properties, not 20years old pics.

Great stay overall, more towels would be nice.

Overall a great stay. 4 stars overall just due to no hand towels or kitchen towels provided. We requested them from the staff via text. They responded and said they would have some brought but never did. Communication with the host company was ok, but slow. Hot tub/pool heat are not included. So we did have to pay extra for that upon arrival. Heat was turned on in a couple days and we used the hot tub after that. Overall would recommend, but would hope hand & kitchen towels are provided next stay.

Great place to stay with a family

We've stayed at this gated community a number of times but our first time in this particular house. It's a great place, large house, fun pool and hot tub, game room, and it's a short walk to the large community pool and water slides. My kids love going there. The only frustration was that I had asked for pool heat to be turned on but it wasn't when we got there, so I had to spend time on several phone calls with the property management company about that, and then we didn't have pool heat for our first day there. I suggest making sure they confirm that you're getting pool heat turned on so it's ready when you arrive. The dishwasher didn't work, but they were very responsive when I told them it didn't work. Other than that, everything was awesome and we had a great time!

Just OK - Needs some changes and updates

Overall we had a nice stay, but the property needs some serious updates: new carpeting, fresh paint, water stains fixed, weeds pulled across the patio. There are also almost no towels so expect to need to do a few loads during your stay. It says there is a ‘starting amount’ which I would take to mean one large towel, hand towel, and face cloth per occupant which wasn’t the case. I actually called and emailed the property management company (Nova) to see if maybe the cleaners forgot to leave some towels as it was that bad. I never heard a response back. Windsor Hills was great. But I wouldn’t pick this property or any managed by Nova in the future.

Hi Alexandra, we appreciate the honesty and transparency in your feedback. We also apologize for the lack of response from the local PM and if there was any miscommunication with regards to amenities. We always advise guests that we only provide basic starter items for the first night of their stay. Reasonably it wouldn't be possible or feasible to provide all amenities for an entire stay for every single person in a group. Bear in mind we at times accommodate groups with as much as 20 persons in one of our homes. We can understand that this may be frustrating but we do communicate this to our guests prior to arrival. We hope nonetheless that you were able to enjoy some amount of your stay. Thank you for choosing NVH.

Great house pool didn’t work

Our stay in the house was very good. The pool area was covered with leaves and there was no broom to clean them. The pool was very dirty and after 3 calls to the property manager they came on the last afternoon only to tell us the pool had a leak and would not hold the chemicals. He did however clean the pool and put chemicals in it. The jets still weren’t working so for the entire week the pool was not available and no attempt was made to fix the leak. The weather was very warm for March and we were looking forward to using the pool. Beautiful property but we should have been advised that the pool was unavailable rather than asking if we wanted it heated

Nice BUT hot tub / pool is a problem

The house was nice, clean and spacious. The hot tub / pool was extremely disappointing. I paid to have it heated and it was pointless because there was a leak, and the pool / hot tub had to be filled a few times. The rental company was fully aware of this problem prior to my check in and had the nerve to charge me for the heat when they knew it was futile. I have been in contact with the rental company during my stay and even now and, they refuse to refund me for the heat fee. I have proof that I contacted them while I was there, that's the excuse they give for not refunding (that I didn't contact them until after I checked out). Be fully aware that the pool / hot tub doesn't work properly, it leaks and the bubbles - don't bubble. I also told them about the broken / chipped dishes & cups (so dangerous), and dishwasher doesn't clean anything. 3 stars because the house itself was nice.

Good but not great

The property was in a great area not far from universal studios. I loved the master bed and the was really about it. Upon arrival we noticed the property was very unclean especially by covid standards.. The coffee pot had bugs in the pitcher, the master bathroom door looked like it had feces on the door, squashed roches on the blinds and drapes in master bedroom and a few other areas of the house, the microwave was broken and wouldn't shut (had to call like 4 times to get someone to fix that so my disabled mother in law would be able to heat her food while we stayed at the park) They did come fix it but never brought a new coffee pot so we just bought one.) A ton of the furniture was broke- the couch the chair/bench by the front door and the Foosball table in the garage. We took a ton of pictures because we didn't want to be considered for the fault.... The air hockey table was missing the puck and we couldn't even play it.. Also, the area where the game tables was located was really unusable in my opinion. Couldn't get the TV in game room to work and the Nintendo game only had one remote and no games (what's the point) and my daughter stepped on a tack in the garage/gameroom thankfully she was wearing flipflops.. All in all, for what we paid it wasn't worth it. This is honestly the worst review I've ever left and I hate to do it.. also, the staff in the clubhouse was very short when speaking to me and my husband it's like they were tired of dealing with people. We didn't even go back up there..

This is best placed for adults and children over 5. Lots of ornaments and glass all around. Not ideal for toddlers with lots of hard edges on furniture. High chair needs replaced. Nice pool and great local in Windsor Hills with park directly across the road. I would say the villa floors are showing their age and paintwork needs updating in some rooms. Kitchen basic but workable. Could have done with more towels, perhaps bring your own to supplement. 7th visit to Kissimmee so ideal for Disney.

Could do with some TLC

This would once have been a superb property , which unfortunately is suffering from lack of maintenance. Some of the areas of concern are listed below, I have left out the minor niggles. Games Room - Not Usable. The cues for the pool table had no tips, The Air Hockey table had no air and the bar football table had no ball! The Living Room - Settee had collapsed previous to our visit (as stated on a previous review). We had to prop it up with tiles we found in a store cupboard. A bench seat adjacent to the front door had bent legs at one end and is in danger of a similar collapse. Both of these could be considered dangerous. Bedrooms - Quilts had no covers. I doubt whether these are washed on a regular basis, so I would consider covers as essential for hygiene purposes. Pool Area - Netting barrier to divide pool off from house is in poor condition. There was a hole in the Lanai which let in wildlife ( we had a squirrel and a Racoon in the pool area!) There is one broken chair and the area surrounding the pool was weed infested. My wife spent some time weeding the area to make it better for us to use the pool. Despite all of the above , we enjoyed our stay ( we always make the best of a poor situation ) as the location and the resort itself were good.

Good location, just okay home

From the pictures online, I thought this place looked awesome. However, upon arrival it’s in need of some refurbishment, replacement of furniture, and a good deep cleaning. We were really excited about having our own pool and hot tub but were disappointed to find out dirty. There were no institutions on how to make the hot tub turn on, as it was pool temp. The place didn’t seem clean upon arrival either. Sinks in the bathroom seemed dirty, the counters didn’t seem cleaned off and everything just seemed pretty grimy. Especially the banister railing and patio door track. Yikes! They need to provide basic necessities of a home and not expect guests to buy items that will never be used up in the stay allotted! For example, there was also only a small amount of toilet paper, 1/2 roll of paper towel, tiny bars of hand soap in bathrooms, no washcloths bathrooms, no laundry soap, no towels for pool and were instructed NOT to use bath towels so then we had to go buy them since they wouldn’t fit into luggage, no cleaning supplies whatsoever so we had to buy Clorox wipes just to tidy up what the cleaning service didn’t do. No salt and pepper or very basic seasoning, no hot pads, and no kitchen towels. To me, when you rent a home, some of these items should just be there especially when we’re paying a premium price to be there. There was no way to take all these things back with us, so we just left them there for the next guests. I sent an email to the property manager on the 2nd day of our 11 day stay and never heard back from them on resolving anything. The person they hired to clean the pools just happened to be making the rounds to us and our neighbors on the third day, but otherwise I’d be willing to bet we’d just be stuck. Oh, and that person came unannounced, so all the sudden you looked out to the patio to see him outside! lol, one way to do it, I guess. On the bright side, the location is in good proximity to the parks, which is what we spent our time doing. So, In that regard, this place was a good fit. Once the pool was clean, we enjoyed it.

Good location and very roomy

Great location very close to the parks and Walmart. Super easy to get in and out of the gate. Felt very safe and the welcome center with pool and game room were great! Cute little store with food and ice cream. We had enough space for our group of 12. We did have some issues with the house, pool and spa. Before taking our vacation we set up the heat of the pool and spa. Upon arrival the pool felt a little warm but the spa did not. We struggled the whole week with getting the spa warm it was a pain in the butt and very disappointing . There was bare minimum of every supplies. Make sure you get everything you would need for your stay ahead of time. We didn’t have enough towels and wash cloths to go around and didn’t have any dish towels or wash cloths. Dryer took for ever to dry. The pace could use some upgrading for sure. We made the best of it.

Okay with potential for excellent

Our extended family group of 11 (4 kids, 7 adults) stayed for 9 days. The location is great, very accessible to local attractions. The club house has a nice pool and is a great option for the kids. Unfortunately, the house was not in a state I would expect and communication with the property manager was poor. We checked in on a Thursday evening to find that the house had definitely not been thoroughly cleaned as a Covid19 precaution and scheduled maintenance work (as was cited for the reason we could not check in early). The highchair was full of food from previous guests, faucets were not able to be turned off, toilets ran continually, and bathrooms had dust bunnies and dirty walls. There were three washcloths and not enough bath and hand towels, no bath/floor mats and only 6 forks in the whole house. Windows were caked in mossy mold as was the side of the pool. The pool deck was covered in weeds, patio furniture was filthy and worn out, and screens around the pool were missing/broken. Water stains on ceilings, missing light bulbs and switches that did not work in 3 of the 6 bedrooms was a daily frustration. The washing machine was operational but so loud that it could be heard throughout the house. Understanding that rental homes are not always kept to the same standard that we keep our own homes, I reached out to the booking company the day after we arrived requesting more forks, lightbulbs/attention to the switches that did not work and additional towels and washcloths. I also noted the faucets and toilets as the water waste was not environmentally friendly. I received a prompt reply from the booking agency stating that they would be in touch with the property manager and someone would contact me the following day. We received no reply or communication from anyone until someone showed up at the house unannounced 18 hours before our checkout time from a 8 night stay... They replaced a light bulb, fixed a running toilet and dropped off two sets of new silverware and 4 towel sets...none of which we could use at that point in our stay (as we had already purchased forks and made due with our beach towels and did not have time to wash the new towels provided). The home owners communicated well leading up to the trip, the rental process and fees came with no surprises and the home layout was as advertised. Unfortunately there was a lot of room for improvement that could have made the stay much more enjoyable.
