LOCATION

-Two blocks to St. Charles Avenue Streetcar and Main Mardi Gras parade route

- Walk 7 blocks to Magazine Street and the start of the St. Patrick’s Day parade on Felicity Street

-Stroll 5 blocks to fountains and oak trees of Coliseum Square Park

-Short 5–10-minute (1.5 miles) Uber/Lyft to Bourbon Street and Canal Street intersection at the edge of the French Quarter (15-20 minutes by streetcar)

-Quick 5 Minute (1.2 miles) drive or 25-minute walk to the Caesar’s Superdome and Smoothie King Center

-Less than 5-minute (1-mile) drive or 20-minute walk to The National WWII Museum, Ogden Museum of Southern Art, and Contemporary Art Center

We welcome kids and upon request we can have the house stocked with the following to make your trip easy: high chair, lots of indoor and outdoor toys, children's books, two pack n' plays, children’s toilet seat and stroller. Please inquire for availability!



TRANSPORTATION

From beautiful sights, taste-bud-tingling foods, and vibrant live music, who wouldn't want to visit?! We recommend using public transportation, including streetcars, buses, Uber or Lyft during your stay. Or bring your own car - there is FREE on-street parking on this block.



For another fun way to explore the area, try Blue Bikes, a ride sharing bike rental all around the city. There is a blue Bike Bikes station one block away! We are also proximate to the Hop-On Hop-Off bus tour with a stop located a few blocks away at 2020 St. Charles Avenue.



Guest Access:

Guests have exclusive access to the property during your stay. Enjoy the luxury of a private heated pool surrounded by secure 200 year old historic brick wall. The house is located on a quiet street with no shared walls or ceilings.



Upon acceptance of your reservation, you will receive a welcome letter containing all of the information you need to access the home and ensure your stay is a memorable one! If you have any additional questions, we are available at any time to assist.



The Neighborhood:

Felicity Road (now street) formerly served as the upriver boundary of the City of New Orleans with the City of Lafayette in the early 1800s. We are located just off St. Charles Avenue with close proximity to Uptown, Downtown and the French Quarter. The house is located next to The Bank Architectural Antiques and directly across the street from an 1880s former German Schoolhouse that is designated as a historic Landmark by the Louisiana Landmarks Society with architectural significance. Don’t miss Lagniappe Bakehouse. a James Beard Award winning bakery/coffee house and best bakery in the country by New York Times, hidden behind this building!



Getting Around:

Terrific for family gatherings, or to come and visit NOLA for Mardi Gras, Jazz Fest, St. Patrick’s Day Parade, Essence Fest, French Quarter Fest, etc. I have additional spaces if needed, please feel free to message me with any requests. There is one security camera on the property located at the front entrance. This is recording 24/7 for security purposes.



Our house is dog friendly and there is a pet fee. No more than 4 dogs allowed. No cats allowed
