The ci do needs a detail cleaning in the bedrooms & laundry room. Mostly the doors and bedroomFurniture need to be cleaned well. I spent 20 mins cleaning the tops of furniture upon arrival after long trip. Long walk to beach relatively speaking for an ocean front unit. 1 slow hot elevator.

Great stay at Amelia Island

We loved this property - the view out of both sides of the condo was gorgeous - treetops on both sides on top of the ocean view from the balcony and some very large nice windows. The whole property was well maintained.

Lovely condo

The beachfront condo was decorated so lovely and was very well kept and clean. My family enjoyed our stay and loved the beautiful morning views of the sunrise over the ocean from the balcony and the sunset from the bedrooms to the west over the river. Lovely.

Amelia Island condo

Great place. Beautiful views of the ocean. Well-decorated and equipped. The unit was spotlessly clean. Check-in was easy. The location is superb--walking distance to Omni properties and short drive from other options. We will be back.

Relaxing Amelia Island Vacation Spot

This 3rd floor condo is in a beautiful location. It's elevation is just above the island oak trees and you can see the beach from the porch side and the inland forest and waterway from the bedroom windows. The beach is very clean and not crowded since it's in a gated community next to the OMNI Resort. The condo itself was a nice size for my wife and 2 college aged children. The kitchen is small but fully stocked. The beds were comfortable. It's about 15 minutes south of downtown Fernandina Beach where we normally went for dinner. There are lots of great dining choices in the area. We would stay here again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our vacation was awesome 👏🏻 We bought a coffee pot because none in the unit worked. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed on Amelia Island for short vacations for years. This condo is the best yet. The property is thoughtfully appointed. It really felt like a ‘home away from home.’ We will actively look for this particular unit for future Amelia Island trip. Thank you very much to the owners. I can’t imagine a better experience.

1114 Beach Walker

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very un happy with the facility. When arriving the air on the main level was at 76degrees. It took several hours to cool to 73. Then on Sunday it stopped working. I called at 9:55 am Monday to advise this, had to call again, repairman arrived after 3pm. Then around 3am it stopped again. So hot in loft, could not sleep.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 20. jun. 2023
We did call for the repairman immediately upon hearing the AC was not working properly. An arrival time of 4 - 5 hours during the hottest months on our island is to be expected. We sure wish it could be sooner as well as we want our guests to have nothing but an absolutely great time and enjoy their vacation.

Disappointed

Overall, wish we went with our gut and rented a different unit that had more than 8 reviews. Lesson learned. Positives: great location, covered parking, Omni plantation is a lovely resort area. Plug-in fans provided for all rooms. Negatives: Appliances need to replaced (not just repaired), with the exception of washing machine. Toenail clippings in one bed, mildew in the bath mat (these are easy fixes but in case you’re squeamish with such wanted you to know). AC might not be “cool” enough for some tastes. Please note this was the week of 4th of July so understandably it is difficult to find someone for a repair. However, being given a cooler, a couple bags of ice, and little contact from the property management company on when it would be fixed (never was) didn’t really do it for us. I reached out to the property management contact and asked if any consideration for our “inconvenience” was going to be given before I left my honest feedback for others and was told “it sounded as if I was trying to extort them”. Hope the good/bad of this review is helpful to you.

So we did receive a phone call from this guest, just hours before this review showed up. They did say that they wanted compensation for the fridge being out or they would leave a bad review. They were true to their word for sure. There was no mention to us while they were here of ANY cleanliness issues or AC issues. This is the first we are hearing of those items and we sent our Maintenance Tech out today. We found the AC to be working and no mildew anywhere in this unit. The fridge was repaired while the guest was here.
