We loved staying here and our host was AMAZING!! It was our first visit to Amelia Island and it was great. We loved all that thecresirt gad to offer and waking each day to the beautiful scenery. Can't wait for our next visit!!

We had a great long weekend for our annual high school girls trip. The condo was in a great location. Beautiful neighborhood drive & view from the condo. This unit had everything we needed, from dishes, silverware, spices, 2 coffee pots, to beach towels, beach chairs & umbrellas. Very nicely supplied. Decor is tasteful & plenty of space to spread out w/ blankets. We ate at Sliders one evening and enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere with great food & cocktails. We had brunch at Karibo Cafe & the Eggs Benedict was amazing...Love that place! Ask for Amy Jo. Overall, a great weekend spent on the beach during the day, catching up visiting, laughing, playing games in the evenings. We tried the pool, but the water was too warm to enjoy. Thanks for allowing us to stay & make memories!

The condo was perfect for our group of 6 adults and one child. The layout worked well. The kitchen was well-supplied with appliances and equipment. We enjoyed the fabulous view from the balcony. What a gorgeous beach! It was altogether a great stay, relaxing and refreshing.

Spacious

We stayed with our 2 adult children & their partners. The 6 of us found the condo to be spacious. We enjoyed the large table for meals and board games. We spent most of our time outside, so we never really used the living room area, but it was pretty. There was enough seating for us all on the balcony. The kitchen floor was a bit sticky when we arrived. We noticed that in spite of setting the thermostat lower, we all sweat a little at night. Finally on the last morning we noticed that the Nest thermostat was much higher when we woke up than we set it before bed, so it much be either remotely controlled or programmed to re-adjust from what guests set it to. Also on the last morning we discovered the binder on the lower shelf of the coffee table, which had information we would've found useful on the first day - such as how to access the closet with the bikes. Unfortunately the HOA-type lady at the pool affected our experience. While sitting in chairs underneath umbrellas, she came over and said we didn't need the umbrellas up because we were shaded, and she lowered them. *while we were using them* We watched her go up to other groups and take their empty water bottles. She even picked up a pair of swim goggles, and the mom had to tell her to put them back because they were theirs. We've been coming to Amelia for 25 years, and this place was nice, but I'm not sure we'd stay again.

Life at the beach

Ideal accommodations for a family of six. We love the location and easy access to the pool and beach. The condo was spotless and nicely decorated. Will definitely re-booked when we come back to Amelia Island with our family.

Excellent Family Vacation

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our vacation. The condo was beautiful and just as described. I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness and condition of the property. Extra touches such as games, books, and beach gear were available for use. The kitchen was well-appointed for meal preparation. The views from the condo are breathtaking. There was plenty of green space for a game of catch with my grandsons. The pool area is very nice and easily accessible. Beverly was great to answer any questions and check-in/check-out procedures were easy. My family and I hope to stay at this beautiful condo again in the future.

The Hostess with the Mostest - 20 out of 10

What can we say about our stay and amazing host that would accurately capture the excellent trip and accommodations. The other reviews are absolutely correct about how clean and well stocked the property is. It's warm and welcoming and there wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there, that includes a rocking chair (big plus for me). We will absolutely be returning. As for Bev, amazing isn't good enough. She's incredibly responsive and caring. Would thoroughly enjoy just connecting with them over dinner because I imagine it would be a ton of fun. If you're looking for a place to stay, this is it. Hopefully it doesn't get too popular that we get bumped from a future visit

Great stay, beautiful home!

We traveled to Amelia island to celebrate my sister's birthday. I found this place and chose it because of the many great reviews and were not disappointed. The home is beautiful and nicely decorated. The bedrooms were comfortable and it was so nice to have three bedrooms and three bathrooms, amazing view of the ocean and the pool was so nice and never crowded. Beverly was super responsive and so helpful! I messaged her about restaurant recommendations and other questions I had before we arrived and she was so great about getting back to meI would highly recommend this beautiful place!

Perfect Condo

The condo was so very well appointed, everything one would need. The neighborhood pool was perfect with sun or shade areas. I can't say say enough about this location. We loved it.

Amazing find!

Beverly was an amazing host! She was responsive with restaurant recommendations and tips for fun on Amelia Island which is a hidden gem. The condo was beautiful, clean, and conveniently located steps from the ocean and near the pool and other amenities. She provided everything we needed for an awesome stay including bikes and beach needs. It was the best vacation, in a beautiful home on an amazing Island. BEST FIND EVER! Thank you, Beverly!!

Wonderful Property!!

This has to be one of the best VRBO properties where we have ever stayed. They had everything we needed to cook a bit, lots of beach towels and the ocean is right there! We also took advantage of the pool. We were on a girls' trip and really enjoyed our first time on Amelia Island.

Girl's Beach Trip 2024

We enjoyed our stay at your beautiful place. It was very welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of seating and space for everyone. Having a 3rd bathroom was an extra bonus for all of us girls getting ready. :)

Beautiful views and beyond clean!

We had an amazing time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The rooms/beds were comfortable and exactly what we needed for our group. The main balcony provided beautiful beach views and sunrise views and the master balcony was perfect for morning coffee with a breeze. I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the home. Thank you so much Beverly for allowing us to stay in your home.

Family vacation

This was our first time to Amelia Island and we loved the laidback atmosphere. The Omni community provides a safe place to explore for morning walks and leisure bicycle rides. The condo was very clean and decorated beautifully. The kitchen was well equipped for all our cooking needs. The bedrooms are spacious and two of the bathrooms have two separate vanity areas that were helpful accommodating the young ladies on the trip. Our party consisted of seven adults. The views from the balcony were incredible. Watching the sunrise over the ocean with coffee in hand is such a peaceful way to start your day. The walk to the beach is probably once of the easiest we have and we do a lot of beach front travel. The storage unit had to bikes lots of beach chairs and a couple of umbrellas as well as two bicycles. Beverly was very is to communicate with. The punch code entry is so nice nit to have a key or card to keep up with. If you choose to stay here you will not be disappointed.

Excellent Condo

This is the cleanest condo we’ve ever stayed in . We have stayed in several. The furniture is very nice and the beds are very comfortable. The view of the ocean is beautiful. The pool is so clean and nice . We didn’t want to leave !!!!! The owner communicated quickly with any questions I had . Thank you

Perfect Vacation

My family and I had a wonderful time. The place was just magnificent. Well furnished. Lots of beach, chairs, umbrellas, and amenities and a super responsive host. The place is very updated, has a great view of the ocean, and was definitely one of our favorites that we’ve stayed. Highly recommend!

My husband, Joe, and I love a good beach vacation! Unfortunately so many places have become so over commercialized. We loved the unspoiled beaches of Amelia Island (especially in the Omni Resort development where we are located) that we decided to buy our place. Our goal is to some day move there when we retire. Until then, we love sharing our place to allow other beach goers to have an incredible beach vacation. I love hosting and try to pay attention to the smallest of details. I encourage guests to call me with any questions so I can help to make their vacation a special, memorable one!!

We had been looking to buy a beach home for awhile. We searched all along the gulf coast, west coast and east coast of Florida before visiting Amelia Island. We noticed immediately that this area was different from the rest. The people are so welcoming and friendly, the beaches are beautiful, and we really enjoyed the downtown Fernandina area for shopping and dining. The easy access to the Jacksonville airport makes it easy to get in and out. There is also an executive airport on Amelia Island.
There is a relaxed, small sea-side town feeling to the area that we love! We definitely fell in love with the Omni Plantation Resort area and all of the amenities that it has. It is so beautifully landscaped, and has incredible restaurants and shopping opportunities, golf, bike/walking trails, golf cart trails, miniature golf, fishing, kayaking, horseback riding and don't forget THE BEACH!

We looked at numerous places on the island but knew immediately when we walked into 1370 Shipwatch that our search was over. This condo was THE ONE. The views from the living room, dining room, kitchen and master bedroom are beautiful, we really like the open and spacious floorplan, and the upgrades throughout are wonderful. There is a King Sized Bed in the Master Bedroom, a King Sized bed in the 2nd bedroom and 2 queen beds in the large 3 bedroom (same size room as the master). We enjoy the gorgeous sunrises from the large balconies off the LR/DR and also the private master bedroom.
