The white sand and crashing ocean waves of Butler Beach are practically at your doorstep when you escape to this two-bedroom condo in St. Augustine. Here at the beachfront Island House Condominiums, you'll have a view beautiful sunrise ocean views from three balconies and access to a pool and sundeck on the grounds. The Island House Condominiums are located right on the ocean in Butler Beach, a lovely section of St. Augustine about eight miles south of the historic district.

After a day of lounging on the beach, stroll home across the property's private boardwalk with the provided chairs, towels, and other beach gear in hand. Back at the condo, you can relax and unwind in your home away from home. The living space is spread out across two levels, with chic, contemporary decor found throughout. Beginning in the fully stocked kitchen, there are stainless steel appliances, generous cabinet storage, and a stacked washer/dryer for your convenience. The rest of the main floor includes an accommodating dining space and a living room with a smart TV. You'll have all the amenities needed for a complete and wonderful stay, including central air-conditioning and complimentary WiFi should you need to plug in.

Butler Beach 2022

Very pleased with our stay in Butler Beach. A wonderful spot. Only real downside is distance from the Jacksonville airport at 75 minutes.

Fun in the sun

My son and I had a fantastic time. The condo was clean and very comfortable with great ocean views. Wish we could have stayed longer. Historic St Augustine was beautiful and we also drove down to the Kennedy Space Center

A great beach stay!

What a wonderful beach condo! A great view of the ocean from the two back porches and a very comfortable space. One of the best stocked kitchens I've encountered, with all the basics. Also, the pool and pool house (ping pong, shuffle board, etc) was a nice alternative to the beach. Friends visited the beach and the Mary St parking was close and accessible. We loved our trip!

Lovely Reno’d Condo

Lovely renovated condo with views of the ocean from upper and lower balconies. Two extremely soft king-size beds in the bedrooms, plus bunkbeds for the kids. Fully stocked with all the beach gear you will need. Just a two-minute walk to the beach.

Great Stay

Spotless, well-appointed condo just a short walk from a stunning, white-sand beach. Modern, comfortable furnishings. The location was excellent - far enough from town for a peaceful atmosphere but just a short drive from good restaurants and other beaches. A few things to note: There is a narrow staircase up to the entrance and although the listing says there is a private path to the beach, there’s not. You’ll need to leave the complex grounds via the parking lot and walk down Mary St. to the public beach access. It wasn’t a problem but was a surprise.

Beautifully Remodeled, Quiet Condo

Pretty ocean view, steps from the pool, comfy beds, well stocked kitchen, three balconies; this condo met all of our vacation wants and needs! The only drawback would be if stairs are an issue- the stairs to the front door are steep. The stairs to the second floor where the bedrooms are located are not. The owners/Vacasa were great to work with.

ROACHES AT SUNSET

BEWARE!!! Our stay was great all the way up until we found many cockroaches halfway through our stay. We called the management company and they said they would have pest control come out and they would call me. Pest control never came. We never heard back from the property management company. We tried to change flights to leave early but it would’ve been an additional 500 for the flights.

Clean, close to the beach, great amenities

The place is as advertised. It is clean, close to the beach, and has very good amenities. The place has a view of the beach, if barely. One thing that wasn’t clear in the posting was that there is no boardwalk to the beach. It is, however next to the beach access road, so one must walk a short ways along the road. Not too big of a deal. The only complaint we had is that the pillows are flat and hard—bring your own. The beds are comfortable other than that. The rental company is very professional. And you will get a lot of automated email from them in the lead up to the trip and afterward. We would stay there again if visiting the St Augustine beach area.

Spring Break getaway

As a family of 6 (4 kids aging 18-10) this was a perfect spot for us. We were very happy with the condo and the property. The instructions for check in and check out were clear, property was as described. While there is no direct beach access from the property getting there is no big deal as you can access it from the public entrance on the street next to the property. The condo itself is well maintained and the usage of space is perfect. The kitchen appliances were easy to use and it had a few of the small necessities that you would need for cooking, oil, spices, etc. To us though the location was perfect and what we loved the most, close enough to be on the beach which was never busy even during spring break week yet getting to restaurants and downtown were extremely easy. We wished that there had been some type of booklet or binder that gave us the names of a few local favorite eateries, favorite attractions to see but also location of grocery stores, shopping, etc. just to help us familiarize use with where to go.
