Welcome to Portside, your sun-soaked, boho-inspired beach escape in St. Augustine. Just steps from the sand and 5 minutes from the heart of the nation's oldest city, this end-unit townhome offers a tropical, design-forward vibe that’s relaxed, playful, and totally unforgettable.
If you like the vibe of a breezy mix of sunshine, rattan, and sea air, this is it. Portside is just off the beach in St. Augustine Beach, a light-filled end-unit townhouse with an ocean view and that’s quiet and private. It’s not overly styled or trying too hard. It’s relaxed, colorful, and full of natural textures that make you feel like you’ve really arrived somewhere worth slowing down for.
Our sister property right across the driveway, Anchors Aweigh, is directly oceanfront and can be rented with Portside to sleep a total of 15 people combined! Portside has a vibe of its own- brighter, vibrant, and a bit more funky. We know you'll love it too. Inside the Space:
Designed with a fresh coastal palette, rattan accents, and soft natural textures, Portside feels like a boutique resort tucked into the dunes. As an end unit, it’s filled with natural light and added privacy, and you’ll catch a beautiful ocean view from the windows and upstairs balcony.
The primary bedroom has a king bed and a private balcony where you can feel the breeze and spot the ocean in the distance. The second bedroom has 2 double beds and a twin bunk bed nook, which works great for families! Both bedrooms have TVs with cable, but don’t be surprised if you forget they’re even there.
The kitchen is boho chic with newer stainless appliances. It’s stocked with what you need to cook a nice meal, plus a few extras we like to keep around just in case. The open living and dining area is filled with light, thanks to the extra windows in this end unit. It’s the kind of space where you can stretch out, kick your shoes off, and not worry about anything for a while.
Easy, Elevated Living:
- Open-concept layout where the kitchen, dining, and living areas all flow together with coastal ease.
- Breezy patio and plush, grassy yard, perfect for morning yoga or happy hour.

Hey there! We're Michael and Kim, along with our 3 daughters. We are happily settled living in Knoxville, TN, but we’ve always dreamt about having our own beach spot. Throughout our marriage, we've loved exploring different beaches, from Massachusetts to Florida, always keeping an eye out for that perfect place that feels just right for us.
We're definitely Atlantic Ocean people. Our family loves everything about it - playing in the waves, boogie boarding, building sandcastles, splashing in the tide pools that form on the wide beaches, collecting seashells, and riding bikes on the firmer sand of the East Coast. After a trip to Disney World in 2023, we decided to wind down with a few days at the beach and stumbled upon St. Augustine. It was an instant connection.
Our first day there playing on the beach was amazing, and we quickly found our favorite spot, the Beachcomber. It’s a super laid-back restaurant right on the beach with delicious food and cocktails and a great vibe where you can sink your toes in the sand and hang out with your dog at your feet…it’s just the best. That's when we knew. St. Augustine Beach was our place. We started looking at properties and fell in love with the townhome community that we have come to own 2 properties.
That evening's walk through downtown St. Augustine, with its beautiful cobblestone streets and quaint shops, just sealed the deal for us. After spending a day looking at other properties, our hearts kept coming back to this spot. And now, it's ours. It's more than just a beach place; it's a part of our family's story. We're thrilled to have a home in America's oldest city, a place full of history and charm, not to mention the fantastic beach and all the places in walking distance like mini golf, ice cream shops, Island Donut, the pier, the neatest coffee shop The Kookaburra, and great local restaurants. We're so excited to create more memories here and can't wait to share this hidden gem with you all!

We chose Portside for one main reason. Location! An end unit facing the pool with ocean views right next to the beach boardwalk- perfection! I wanted to wake up to hear the ocean and be able to sink my toes in the sand in a couple of minutes with my coffee. We love to ride bikes, go on beach walks, relax at the pools, and of course spend endless hours on the beach! We love how much is in walking distance of the Ponce Landing community. If you never wanted to drive anywhere all week, you could easily walk or bike to all the amazing local restaurants and entertainment from mini golf right next door to fishing, playing volleyball, and enjoying the playground and splash pad at the pier.
While the location is super convenient to anything and everything, Portside is very private and in a quiet but lively neighborhood. To us, it's the perfect mix! If you're looking for more adventure or you want to get into the history of St. Augustine, you're only a 10 minute drive from all of the attractions downtown. The city of St. Augustine has SO much to offer! The Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and Ponce de Leon's Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park cannot be missed! Strolling the pedestrian only streets of St. George St. and Aviles St. checking out all the shops and restaurants is such a delight! Even closer than downtown, the St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park, the St. Augustine Lighthouse & Maritime Museum, Matanzas Inlet, and Anastasia State Park are all fantastic sites to explore!
So whether you're looking for just a relaxing beach trip or you like to go out and do things a lot, Portside is the perfect place for you and your family! If you have a large family or are planning to travel with friends, you can also rent our beachfront property, Anchors Aweigh, that's right across the driveway!

We absolutely love how our property has a garage. It creates the ultimate conveniences from loading and unloading luggage and groceries, to storing sandy beach gear, to housing all the fun extras that we offer at Portside. We are all about having a good time, and we want to make SURE you have a good time when visiting our place! We provide 2 adult beach cruisers, beach chairs, beach umbrella, and tons of beach toys for your enjoyment. The garage also includes a charcoal grill and a washer and dryer for you to use.
Our location is perfect!!! If you know anything about real estate, the most important thing is “location, location, location!” Being the end unit in the 2nd building right next to the beach boardwalk, Portside offers lots of privacy, but you are steps away from the boardwalk to the ocean. The walls are thick and well insulated, so the house is very quiet and relaxing. Our community is small and peaceful but situated in a great area of A1A Beach Blvd. You can walk or bike to many local restaurants and activities! We are right next door to Fiesta Falls Miniature Golf that’s so much fun for the whole family!! Our home is an easy 10 minute drive from downtown and all of the beautiful attractions St. Augustine has to offer! The town is so charming with tons of character and packed with history!
Aside from activities to enjoy outside in beautiful St. Augustine Beach, we also stocked the TV cabinet with games, cards, and puzzles to play with your family and friends. Our place is well appointed, cozy, and comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets to curl up on the couch with a good book or to watch a movie.
There's something for everyone at Portside- no doubt! Book a stay at a place where you can make memories that will you won't forget!
