The Space:

Cool mountain air greets you as you step onto the wraparound deck, where early brings a quiet stillness to the pine-lined landscape. Mornings begin with coffee at the dining table or a moment outside, watching the hills slowly come alive. Inside, the warmth of the fireplaces and the gentle hum of conversation create an inviting rhythm after a day spent exploring nearby trails and lake paths.



The space

Set within Alpine Lake Resort, this multi-level cabin offers 6 bedrooms, 9 beds, and 3.5 baths, accommodating up to 12 guests. The open-plan great room features wood flooring and tall ceilings, with two indoor fireplaces - one on the main level and another below - creating comfortable gathering areas. Roku TVs, arcade games, a foosball table, and a Bluetooth jukebox provide entertainment throughout the home, while a dedicated workspace and Wifi support work or trip planning when needed. Heating, air conditioning, and ceiling fans help maintain comfort across changing temperatures.

Kitchen & dining

The kitchen is equipped for shared meals and relaxed mornings, with a dining table and an island that brings everyone together. A coffee maker and coffee are ready for early starts before heading out to the lake or nearby trails.



Outdoor living

The porch wraps around the home, offering space to pause, read, or watch wildlife pass through the yard. A BBQ grill and outdoor dining area provide options for meals outside as the weather warms, while the private backyard offers open green space. Free parking on premises makes arrival and departure simple.



Longer Stays

For stays of 14 nights or longer, guests will be asked to e-sign a rental agreement prior to arrival. This agreement helps us comply with local requirements while protecting the property, and will be sent in advance for review.



Resort amenities & location

Guests have resort access to Alpine Lake’s amenities, including lake access with a path or dock, hiking and biking trails, and a shared indoor pool available year-round during set hours. The 150-acre lake, golf course, and surrounding trails offer opportunities to explore. Nearby destinations include Cranesville Swamp Preserve, Swallow Falls State Park, and Blackwater Falls, each within a short drive.



Family & comfort features

Board games, children’s books and toys, and shared living spaces create opportunities for time together indoors. Washer and dryer access, clothing storage, and home safety features including smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, fire extinguisher, and first aid kit add convenience and peace of mind. Exterior security cameras are positioned facing the garage only.

Wildlife & Trash Notice



Our cabin is located in a natural mountain setting where bears, raccoons, and other wildlife are common visitors. To help keep both our guests and local wildlife safe, it is extremely important that all trash is properly stored and disposed of during your stay.



Please keep all trash inside the designated containers and ensure lids are securely closed. Do not leave trash bags, food, coolers, or pet food outside, on porches, or near the home overnight. If trash disposal instructions are provided in the house manual, please follow them carefully.



Improperly stored trash can attract bears and other animals, creating safety concerns and potentially causing damage to the property. Guests may be charged for excessive cleanup or damages resulting from failure to follow these guidelines.
