Best home in Puerto Vallarta

The home is beach front, with breathtaking views from every room. The staff is amazing, and the chef prepares fresh delicious meals everyday. You feel absolutely pampered during your stay. Eric the property manager can set up just about anything for you, from massages, fresh flowers and personal chefs for special occasions. This was our second stay here and will return year after year!

wonderful stay

we very much enjoyed our week at casa maria elena. the house is lovely and well appointed & stocked. eric, mireilla, and alma were of constant and warm welcome, and they arranged everything from transport to groceries, delicious meals, house cleaning, and laundry. we took morning dips in the water before the beach filled up; and it was fun to watch the families spend the day on the coast. the cove looks rocky, but it is sheltered and clean and great for just bobbing. looking forward to a return visit during whal season.

Simply AMAZING!

The property is stunning! Very well taken care of, well equipped and boasts the absolute best, unobstructed view to the ocean from all of the rooms. Michael the host was very responsive and Eric, Alma and Mireya with the property management company were great to work with and incredibly helpful. We were there celebrating my husband's 45th birthday and it was a perfect stay. I cannot say enough good things about the house, amenities and service. 10 out of 10 recommended. We're already talking about our next visit back!

Beautiful, Relaxing!

The home and the location were amazing! Walking distance to town, restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed the beach just steps from the door. Spent our mornings on the patio drinking coffee and watching the city come to life. The evening sunsets were breath taking from the home. Whale watching from the patio turned out to be a show of a lifetime!

Paradise in Puerto Vallarta

Hard to find anything to complain about. The house is beautiful and tastefully decorated. The entire backside of the house opens up to the ocean and overlooks a small beach. You can lie in bed in all three bedrooms, with the back windows/walls open and look out at the ocean. Eric, the property manager is great, and will get you anything you need. He arranged a whale watching trip and massages for us. Mirella, the cook, will prepare whatever you want for breakfast and lunch. Without exception our meals were wonderful and plentiful. There was little need to go out for dinner, except for the entertainment value of seeing Puerto Vallarta. Alma keeps the house clean, washes clothes and keeps you well stocked with towels. The small pool and gazebo In the back of the house are great places to “chill” as well as to spot an occasional whale. If you are looking for a relaxing place to vacation and to be pampered, this is it. Casa Maria Elena deserves all of those 5 star ratings it has received. I highly recommend it.

Amazing Time

Phenomenal place to relax and take it the beach, pool and weather. Eric, Mirella and Alma took fabulous care of us. Great meals, cleaned house, transpiration to/from airport, helped with laundry and places to go. Bought groceries we wanted and set up jet skis and paddle boards. Weather was a overly hot and humid (October) and house only has AC in bedrooms but otherwise an incredible stay.

Everything we expected!

This property is everything described in the VRBO listing, and more! Eric, the property manager was wonderful and so easy to work with. He made our stay easy and extremely enjoyable. Maria was delightful and a "breath of fresh air" and brightened our stay. We are planning our next trip back to the same house. Casa Maria Elena is a magical get-a-way. I highly recommend it to anyone ready to have a relaxing trip to Puerto Vallarta.

DO believe the hype

This property almost sounded too good to be true from the reviews and we were actually a little nervous about that! But, it was in fact as good as it sounds and then some. As others have said, the location on the beach cannot be beat and Mirella's food is absolutely amazing. The pictures on this page do not do the house justice. Eric is the best property manager I've ever met and a really great guy. This is a great place to relax and unwind and eat some really amazing food while you're at it.

Amazing stay at Casa Maria Elena

The view from the home was incredible and it was an easy 15-20 minute walk to the boardwalk of Puerto Vallarta. The beach a step away from the property is very nice and when it got a little crowded it was great to enjoy the infinity pool. All the rooms were very comfortable with amazing views. I really couldn't have picked a better place for my girlfriend and me to stay. On the last 2 days of our stay my 2 friends joined us and they were also stunned by how picture perfect this home was. The staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. The meals we ate at the home may have been the best meals of our trip. Thank you so much!

Breathtaking

ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! Most notably, however, was the staff, Alma and Mirella, who were attentive, pleasant and so, so kind. Eric, who manages the home, was incredibly responsive and accommodating throughout our stay. He went above and beyond on more than one occasion to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. I couldn't have asked for anyone better. Outside of being highly knowledgeable, Eric genuinely cares about making the experience perfectly tailored to your needs, and his passion for hospitality is evident. Everything was exceptional and the villa was even more beautiful than expected!

Beautiful

We had a wonderful experience at Casa Maria Elena. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed. The staff was so kind and accommodating. We ventured out only a couple of times, but were perfectly content staying put. We thought the public beach would be a nuisance, it wasn’t at all. In fact we enjoyed seeing weddings, engagements, quinceanera photos and families spending time together. Also, fireworks around us every evening! We had a great time and can’t wait to go back and do it again. Resorts are great, but this experience will be hard to beat in the future. Thank you Eric and staff! See you again soon!

Amazing Vacation

We just returned from an unforgettable vacation at Casa Maria Elena!! From the moment we walked into this amazing Villa, we were all enamored with the beauty of this lovely property! It was definitely beyond our expectations! The rooms were stunning and you cannot beat the location right on the beach! Upon our arrival, we met the wonderful staff! Eric the property manager welcomed us with open arms! Throughout our stay he went out of his way to make sure that every one of our needs were met! Mirella, prepared amazing meals! Breakfast lunch and dinner were so good that we opted to have her make all three meals on almost every day. Alma kept the house spotless and even did our laundry daily! We were treated just like family! We cannot stop talking about our wonderful stay at Casa Maria Elena!

Amazing week in PVR - Cannot wait to return

Just returned from an amazing week at Casa Maria Elena. It was our first visit to this incredible property but will not be our last. The pictures of the home and surroundings do not do it justice. There is simply no way to describe the feeling you get the first time you step through the door and see the expansive ocean view. And while the house itself is amazing, it's complimented by our new extended family. The team onsite constantly went out of their way to ensure every moment of our visit was nothing short of exceptional. There's literally nothing I'd change about this trip, except perhaps extending it by a few more days. Casa Maria Elena is an amazing property with an outstanding team and an incredible location. You cannot go wrong here. We'll be back.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE!

The surprise you have when you walk in the door to this marvelous house and the breathtaking views, this was the start of our 7 day vacation at Casa María Elena. We traveled as 3 couples and had 3 master suites each of which had a unique feel and equally gorgeous views. Eric paid attention to all the details from transportation, having food and drinks prepared for our arrival and all the adventures for the days of our vacation. The house is kept by Mirella and Alma, two wonderful women who pampered us during our stay. Mirella cooked delicious breakfast and lunches for us and Alma made sure all our clothes came home washed and folded. Wow!!!!! Before I forget mention we saw whales everyday of our stay! Casa María Elena will be a yearly retreat!

Beautiful Home and Great Staff!

This is a really beautiful home with a great layout. The location is ideal, since you are away from the busy, noisy city but close enough for a quick and inexpensive Uber ride to town. Here is our summary of pros and cons:Pros:1. A stunningly, beautiful house2. Very nice, attentive and professional staff.3. Beach front, on a less populated beach4. Immaculately clean5. Morelos really is a great chef! 6. The house has a very private and secluded feel7. They offer grocery shopping service for a very reasonable charge.Cons:1. We stayed in December and the patio didn’t get sun until after 4:00 pm due to it being blocked by taller buildings behind the house2. The waves can be noisy! For some, the ocean sounds are a plus but if you are a light sleeper, bring earplugs3. The price includes preparation of lunch or breakfast each day (excluding groceries) but this didn’t work for our group so we passed on this. We did have one dinner prepared which was an extra charge (200 for 4 plus groceries) even with no other meals prepared. It was a great dinner, so no complaints, but since we skipped having 4 other included meals prepared it would have been nice if they reduced the cost of the one dinner. 4. We had them buy groceries for us but never received a receipt (only a text with the amount due). With other rentals in PV, we’ve always been presented with a receipt.5. Exceptional

As others have said, the property is as described and even better than the pictures. My son, his partner, myself and a dear friend spent 5 nights at this villa and cannot say enough about Alma, Mirella and Eric. Every request was granted: meals times, desired food, snacks for the villa, batches of margaritas put in refrig for later, etc. A couple of picky sleepers could not believe how well they slept in the wonderful beds while being rocked to sleep with the crashing waves. Had a few showers, lightening and thunder but nothing that lasted long. We rarely went to town because nothing could compare to our property. Just enjoyed the pool and ocean! Cannot say enough about Mirella’s cooking (saw Alma helping at times), she’s a master. The staff made us feel like family. It is my wish to come back to this property again and I have recommended it to several friends and family.

PV at it's best!

We had a great stay in PV at Casa Maria Elena! The place is exactly as described and shown in the photos only better since you are there in person. The views of the ocean and sky change on the hour and you are only steps from a couple of safe and clean swimming beaches. There is a public beach directly under the casa so you will see the public hanging out there pretty much full time. If you are there on a holiday, expect the beach to be busy with vendors bringing shrimp, oysters, drinks, cotton candy - you name it. It is entertaining for sure. Having said that, the public was great and consisted primarily of locals and families who were super well behaved and just there for the day to enjoy the surf and sun. On several occasions there were couples celebrating engagements or anniversaries and/or doing social media posting. So it is a busy spot but we liked the activity and felt safe the entire time. The location is a short walk up the path to the Romantica district beaches and shops. The property manager, Eric, is totally on top of whatever you need during your stay. They have the food down to a science and can make you whatever you desire. Same with outside services, Eric can set you up with great drivers and boat captains for small boats or large. We went the small route and ended up saving a lot of money and just had an outstanding time. Overall, I would say that I would give it my highest rating for a PV adventure and certainly will be coming back in the future.

Amazing Location, Amazing Experience

My Fiancé and another couple stayed here for 4 days. We had an amazing time from the moment we got off the plane to the time we left Eric and all the stay took amazing care of us. When my friend let Eric know that he was going to propose the first night we were there, Eric coordinated a beautiful dinner, decorations and even had a big firework show once the question was popped. We had everything we needed the whole time. The food was delicious and was popular with everyone. The place was kept clean at all times for us and there was always someone asking if we'd like another margarita :) We highly recommend Casa Maria Elena and we will likely return in the future!

Daily maid and food services offered:

Daily maid service and preparation of breakfast and/or lunch are included with the rental, we just ask that renters pay the cost of food and alcohol during their stay. For a reasonable fee, our Property Manager, Eric, will pick up any requested items for the kitchen or bar prior to your arrival or during your stay, as well as pick up from and to the airport, and can provide car service around town or arrange for reservations for day trips, such as: fishing; jungle tours (ATV and/or zip line); golf; whale watching; snorkeling; surfing; jet ski rentals; diving; etc... Eric, will keep a tab of these additional expenses and present you with a final bill to be paid prior to your departure. He will explain the services he offers, along with fees and answer any other questions you may have about the property.

Our cook, Mirella (pronounced MEER-EH-YA) regularly prepares breakfast and lunch, and she will prepare dinners for an extra fee as well. A typical breakfast includes fresh coffee, squeezed OJ, a fruit plate, toast, eggs and bacon. Lunch usually includes fresh juice, salsa, guacamole, fried taquitos. She has menu of meal options for breakfast and lunch - typically traditional Mexican - that she will show you on your first day, so you can request other options for the following day(s). For an additional fee, she will also prepare items from her dinner menu. She is an amazing cook. If you request specific meals the day before, she will go to the market in the morning before her arrival to get the freshest seafood and produce.
