We are so sorry that the AC unit is not working properly during your stay. We would have addressed this immediately if you had reported that upon your arrival instead of hours before your departure. I just find out that our regular annual spring time AC tuneup/maintenance is postponed due to COVID and causing this issue. If you have any plan to come again in the future, we'd gladly offer you 2 nights of complimentary stay. Thanks and thank you for staying with us.

In spite of our generosity towards Nicole and her family, she has written things that are unfounded, unfair, and untrue. Here is the truth: - We allowed Nicole and her family to check in four hours early at NO extra charge, for which she was very appreciative at the time. - The pool was clear, clean, and heated to 88F (as advertised) throughout her entire 4-day stay. (We had our property manager personally come out and confirm this.) - The house looks EXACTLY like the photos, a point of pride for us (and reinforced by the reviews of many previous guests) - She hosted an unauthorized party on her first full day in our home, welcoming 8 visitors who presumably enjoyed a beautiful day by the heated pool in our clean and well-maintained lanai. :) (We did not chastise her for this.) - We did apologize profusely that the spa was heating inconsistently & immediately sent a pool technician out to assess the problem. She was appreciative of this effort at the time, which is not reflected in her review. **We also compensated her for the inconvenience with the spa with a $150 refund.** - The house is clean and well maintained (see previous reviews), which is also a point of pride for us. After her initial complaints and threats to 'go to a Disney resort' (which I would have welcomed), I checked in but never heard another word of complaint until this review. We've never had a guest like Nicole before. Although I feel sorry for her, I would not recommend her to other hosts.

Hi Jennifer. Thank you for your feedback and thanks for choosing our villa. Glad you enjoyed the location close to Disney and other amenities in our home. Our goal is to provide a clean, comfortable "home away from home" for our valued guests. Just to clarify, the two master bedrooms both have king size beds with firm mattresses, not soft. We have found that a firm mattress is best suited to most of our guests. The children's mattresses are softer. I'm not sure which pillows you used (there are many to choose from), but the majority of the pillows were purchased within the last year. Guests are invited to choose a pillow that best suits their individual needs. The kitchen comes with a 4-slot toaster and a 10-cup coffee maker. Basket filters are supplied. We have tried to avoid cluttering the countertop with additional appliances as we want to provide adequate space for our guests to prepare their meals. We enjoyed hosting your family and appreciated the good communication we had before and during your stay. Take care! Janet & Mike

Hi Angel. I’m glad you had a good time overall, but this unfair review was shocking to receive. Angel, you know that I was very patient and answered your questions promptly and thoroughly, even though you did not read any of the guest instructions we sent prior to your arrival. You did not mention anything at all about any cleaning concerns! Most guests find the house very clean, but our guests' comfort matters to us and I would have acted immediately and done everything in my power to make it right. Also, when you suggested the spa wasn’t heating, I checked the temperature myself and indeed, it was 100F, just as it should be. The heater is new and we've had no complaints. However, if you wanted it hotter, you should have told me, and I would have done an override for you. But you didn't even ask. Next time you rent on VRBO, please tell your hosts of any concerns. At Treehouse, our top priority is to give our guests a wonderful experience and we do everything in our power to make that happen.

Hi Raquel. Thanks for your review! Just to clarify, the pool heat was working (set to 86F), but you did mention after you checked out that the spa wasn't hot enough. We are at the house now and working on resolving any issues with the spa heat settings. The pool heater is new, installed in July, so I'm sure we'll be able to resolve this quickly. I respond to our guests immediately, as you mentioned, so it would have been helpful to know about the spa heat issue during your stay.
