The place was very nice for sure. Had enough room for the 12 of us. I will say that the mattress's do need updating. The kitchen was fully stocked with any and all tools needed to cook a family dinner. We really had a great time.

Beach Getaway

The property itself was very clean. The condo itself was great. We had 9 people and had more than enough space for everyone. ODVR staff was very courteous and helpful. We definitely would consider returning.

Great Place, Great Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of 10 had a great stay in #309! There is plenty of room to spread out and everyone slept comfortably. When we arrived, the condo was clean and immediately inviting. The staff at ODVR was wonderful during the whole booking process until the very end of our stay, answering questions and making sure our vacation was the best it could be while staying at the rental.

North Tower Stay

Rental was located in a great place. Easy access to everything. They have a shuttle that picks you up and brings you back from beach. Great pool area. Only minor complaint is drip coffee machine was not cleaned and had mold from coffee grounds that were not discarded. Some the pot/pans still had food residue on them. The washer/dryer had a bad smell so we did not wash our clothing.Other than those few issues the place was great and I would definitely stay again.

The property is beautiful, well kept. Our unit was nice but furnture was outdated and uncomfortable. I think the worst was my Son got chiggar bites areound 60 of them ,this made it aweful for him. Not your fault. The washer and dryer needed replaced and that didnt happen until thursday, we arrived saturday .All in all it was a good trip.

Golf trip

Condo was fine. Minor maintenance concerns running faucets tvs not functional in 2 rooms. Great set up nice balcony. Check in experience with sign in off site challenging when playing golf. Normal business hours. Part of reason u book online is automation and not to have to go there have then hold a check for deposit etc.

Great Vacation in Myrtle Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful visit in Myrtle Beach. The condo had plenty of room for all of us (there were 7 of us). The beds were comfy and the bathrooms were big. The balcony had a great view of the pool and waterway. We were also able to watch the fireworks from the balcony. The condo was close to everything! The pool on the property was beautiful and perfect for my 6 year old and the older ones too. It was always clean and no deeper than 4 feet. The beach was less than 5 minutes away and it was clean and beautiful! Thanks for a great stay at a great condo!

We at Owner Direct Vacation Rentals are so happy to hear that you enjoyed the condo. The North Tower @ Barefoot Resort is a great place to stay! The condos are very spacious and the views of the Intracoastal Waterway are so relaxing. Watching the fireworks from the balcony in the summer is definitely an added bonus. North Tower does offer the largest saline pool in South Carolina and it's only a short drive to the beach where there is plenty of free public parking. Thank you for staying with us with this vacation and make sure you give us a call to book your next North Myrtle Beach vacation.

Lack of amenities

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and good for 7 individuals. Only complaint is that it lacked things we are accustomed to with past Airbnb rentals. Starter kits only one roll of toilet paper for 3 bathrooms, no dishing washing liquid, no soap. I know it’s renters’ prerogative but if they are only providing linens and towels that should be said on the website.

Thank you for staying with us at North Tower 309, I see that you are accustomed to AirBnB rentals or hotels where they have daily housekeeping and replenishment. We are a private company and we do provide you with a starter kit to get you by till you can get to the store to purchase what you prefer, our website for owner direct vacation rentals states a starter kit. Thank you again for staying with us and we hope you enjoyed some of your time here at the beach.

Mixed Feelings

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a lovely stay. Very close to the beach, shops, etc. Property was easy to navigate through. Beautiful pool, and view. The unit is a bit outdated, but overall we fit comfortably. It needs a deep cleaning. Dishes were put away dirty, very confusing situation with tv remotes, and there were visible German roaches seen on a few occasions. I was told about the bug people coming so maybe it’s an issue they are having throughout the building. Beds could use more pillows which there are but no extra linens. This unit lacks no room for guests, there was plenty.
Svar fra VrboOwner den 28. sep. 2023
Thank you for your feedback -- positive and negative critiques are greatly appreciated so that we can improve our property management. Our housekeeping department and the owner will gladly review the details mentioned and make improvements. The pest control "notice" provided at check-in for all guests, is meant to cover every community, complex, house or condo, so that guests will be aware of contracted vendors / service technicians that might knock on the door for scheduled treatment. This is NOT an indiciation of pest problems but a notification for guests that preventative treatment is on-going and legitimate reason for someone to be at the property. We would have hoped to hear from you if you saw any pests so that we could reach out to the HOA for additional treatments. It is important in communal living situations that all units participate in treatment services for the benefits to work. Thank you again for sharing details.

Great View and Space/Lack of Cleanliness

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is a great location, it has a lot of space and a great view of the pool and intercostal waterway. There is a smell in the laundry closet coming from other floors that smells like a sewer and overpowers the condo at times. The condo can use a good cleaning, there is dust and dirt on the ledges, corners and on the furniture. The doors to the utility closet are covered with dust and lint. There was dried food on the walls and on the tables. We had to clean all the dishes prior to using them as they were all dirty. There are no kitchen towels in the kitchen but the linens and bath towels are provided.

Snowbirds

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year wintering in this unit. We love the location, spectacular views and proximity to activities and dining. In the past, we had issues with the general condition and cleanliness of the unit which were cited in a review. We were very pleased to find all problems addressed and corrected, as well as additional improvements made. The maintenance and grounds crews, as well as the management staff are both competent and extremely friendly. The living room furniture could use some updating, but is tolerable. The location has become quite noisy due to the rapid growth in building and busyness at the Marina. We are there during maintenance season (resurfacing pools in 2022, re-stuccoing siding in 2023), which means early and prolonged construction clamor. Understandable, but not recommended for those desiring quiet. All in all, this is a great unit. We will be back next year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We all loved the property. The pool was great, the location was great not far from the beach. We really enjoyed the fireworks from our balcony. Close to restaurants and barefoot landing was great. The condo however was dated, and lacking some kitchen necessities. The pillows were terrible and the mattress was also terrible. The rental company was great and check in and out was a breeze.
