Situated on the bluff directly above Carmet Beach. 1-2 minute stroll down to either side of Carmet beach. At low tide, there is access to multiple beaches to the south.

Whale season is year round. You can see their migration from the property. Guests love the spacious deck and the opportunity to people watch visitors to Carmet Beach as well as the waves, whales, dolphins, and sea birds from "the good seats."

The bird-watching from Spare Time Beach House is excellent. There is a local Bald Eagle that graces Carmet and it's typical to see American White and Brown Pelicans, an array of Hummingbirds, Herons, Egrets, Hawks, Canadian Geese and lots of shorebirds regularly.

The property is pesticide-free and proudly becoming a pollinator habitat of California native plants as invasive plants are being removed and replaced.
