Follow the sun to Avon's oceanfront 18-unit Islander Condominium site. Thoughtfully upgraded, this light and bright condo features fresh paint, all-new flooring, a completely remodeled kitchen, and bathrooms. On-site amenities include a pool and private boardwalk to one of the best beaches in the outer banks. You'll love being located within easy walking distance of the Avon Fishing Pier, many restaurants, and Club Hatteras. There is also supermarket access minutes down the street.

The combination living, dining, and kitchen areas are well furnished, spacious, and comfortable to provide you with the necessities while you enjoy your stay in Avon. The primary suite boasts a Jacuzzi tub and direct access to a balcony. Come to the Island for your vacation.

THINGS TO KNOW
This condo is on the first level up one two sets of stairs of the Islander Condominiums.
Shared Charcoal Grill
You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking which will be sent to your email. You will not be able to check in until we have received your signature electronically. Please contact us directly if you do not receive this agreement.
The pool has a soft open date of 5/22 and a soft close date of 10/11. This is subject to change.

Weekend trip

Condo was beautiful within a short walk to the beach. Had an issue with entry but Vacasa was very helpful.We had a great time and I would stay here again .

Excellent location!

We loved this condo so much. It was clean and looked exactly as the pictures showed. The proximity to the beach was perfect. We would stay here again anytime, it had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Beautifully renovated condo!

We’ve stayed at this condo complex the last three years and this unit in particular has been beautifully updated and renovated. The bathrooms and kitchen are gorgeous. The first floor is very convenient for walking out to the beach and loading in and out of the car. It was very clean as well!

Amazing Honeymoon

We were very impressed with the condo, it’s location, and how easy check in was. We highly recommend this to anyone who wants a worry free vacation spot. We’ll definitely be booking again.

Nice secluded condo. Only one TV on cable but that was fine with us. Requires ability to climb many stairs to access door. Great private outdoor porch. Best for a couple but could take 3.

This condo was exactly what we were looking for. Cozy, close to the beach, and the decor was super fun for our little ones who love sea life. Avon is a hidden gem in OBX. Only thing I wished for was some better pots / pans. Will know to bring better quality next time, chipped Teflon was disappointing, however everything else was great.

Family Vacation

The location was great. It was close to everything we needed and the drive to Hatteras or Nags Head wasn't bad at all. The only complaint is there was only one extra trash bag and no dish cloths and one towel. If we had known, I could have brought some from home. Overall, we had a fantastic time, despite having to leave a day early because of hurricane Ian.

Love it! Repeat renters!

My family and I love this rental. The Oceanside deck is the perfect spot to sip your favorite beverage morning or evening and take in the ocean breeze and birds and crickets chirping. This unit is on the first floor of the building which is one floor up from the ground. This is perfect! The flights of stairs up to the third floor can be tiring but this first floor unit only has one staircase which leads you out to the beautiful Atlantic Ocean.

Vacasa great. The unit needs some work

Vacasa made check in and out easy. We stayed in the unit 20 years ago and not much has been done since. Everything needs updated. If it were updated it would be a prime rental property, but as is, I will pay more to stay in another unit.

Just OK

The location is great - just off the beach and walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. But it needs a lot of upgrades. The dry wall was cracking and peeling in the bathroom, the kitchen faucet leaked. The floors and couches were wet on arrival which I’m hoping was due to cleaning. The shower wouldn’t drain so we were showering in ankle deep water - which I tried to contact Vacasa about via email but didn’t receive a response. The WiFi did work well and it was nice having a kitchen for the week. I would bring your own spices, garbage bags, dish washing detergent, oils etc because there was not much available in the kitchen. Overall not impressed, and wouldn’t stay here again, but if you’re looking for a budget deal that isn’t gross this place is acceptable.

We feel it is important to note that our homeowner plans to address the cosmetic issues of the home during our off-season. The floors and couches were wet due to a shampoo. The drain has been unclogged. Additionally, our apologies if the home was not properly supplied, we'll follow up with our housekeeping staff to see that these starter items are re-stocked for future stays. Please note that we provide our guests with a starter kit of supplies. This includes cleaning supplies, toiletries, and paper products. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. We appreciate you allowing us the opportunity to improve, and we hope you will give us a second chance to impress you in the future.

Mini vacation

We enjoyed our stay in your condo. A little mini vacay before our daughter goes off to college. Everything was fine just a couple things to note. 1) you may want to invest in some better kitchen knives. yours are extremely dull. Also measuring cups and spoons. The hinge on one of the cabinet doors on the island needs repair. Lastly i did not care for the staff at hatteras reality. I thought they were rude when i called prior to our trip to ask a couple questions. Woman on the phone acted as if i was troubling her. Also, not clear on how to get our passes for the peir. If you look at the reality companies website you will see their lack of hospitality is a common thread. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and would consider staying again.

Islander unit 10

I realize that we rented this unit only 1 month out but still here are the comments. Dirty dishes in cupboard which meant we had to wash everything we used in dishwasher first. 3 bladed ceiling fan in main room when turned on higher than slow, the fan mount looked like it might fly off the ceiling. Only one fan in entire unit, problem because air conditioning on last legs. Very stuffy in the evenings. My daughter rented adjacent unit from a private individual much nicer and less money, fyi. Internet was WOEFULLY slow. I used my daughter's next door wireless through the wall still 5x faster than the one in our unit , good thing as I had an important zoom meeting that had no chance with the internet in unit 10. Toilet tank lid in one bathroom broken in half and propped on top of the toilet. Appears the wrong flushing parts are wrong because they BANG against the lid inside the tank every time it was flushed. Mattresses were all soiled. I could go on but that is probably enough. Unit is badly outdated. I have rented several properties with VRBO over the years with no complaint. Little surprised you have it in your properties. On the plus side the location was good, back steps from the unit were very helpful, pool was nice. Thank you.
