We loved having our yearly family vacation in North Topsail Beach at the oceanfront home “Under the Red Roof” The location was great! We loved the roominess, cleanliness and family friendliness of the house. We definitely plan on staying here again. Our entire family said, “I really love this house!”

Everything!!! This is our second visit to this property. 3 generations with plenty of space, comfort and of course the beach!

A good way to spend a week.

While this house had a few minor issues, that the owners will hopefully take care of, it was a beautiful house that was enjoyable to stay a week in. The beach was wonderful along with the views from both sides of the house. It was a great week with family and an enjoyable experience.

Third year staying here

This house has everything you need, from puzzles and games to beach toys and everything you might need in the kitchen. . The elevator is a must for us since the oldest member of our family is 96.

3rd visit was a charm

We love this house with excellent location, views, access to beach and marsh and handicap accessible. However we will not return due to the rate being doubled next year. Sad.

3rd year in a row!

We continue returning to this home finding it provides everything we need for a week of fun. The kitchen is well appointed and we have arrived to a clean home year after year. We did find that the downstairs washer and dryer weren’t working properly but it was no problem given there was another set upstairs. All in all, a wonderful experience and you sure can’t beat that oceanfront beach access… especially with kids in tow!

Book now! Don’t hesitate!

We have been coming to topsail for 5 years and this was by far our most favorite house! It accommodated our family of 12 and dog perfectly. It sits perfectly with the beach front sunrise view in the am and the back of house sunset view over the sound in the pm. It is also the perfect distance between public access to the beach so it’s nestled in a private beach spot for your beach days which was a huge plus for us especially on July 4th. The house was excellent and clean. The Vacasa staff was very responsive to questions and issues. We couldn’t be happier and would 100% book again in the future. Thank you for sharing your home with us :) we love this trip every summer and loved our stay in this home.

Owner nice enough management Co poor.

House well decorated, good layout for large group and any handicap folks. Management Co had poor instructions on opening the house, did not get to use hot tub that I paid for, no one answered phone when I called. Wifi out last day of stay. Had a good time in spite of the problems.

ROACHES EVERYWHERE

There were roaches both dead and alive everywhere. We had to call for additional pest control. They were there when we got to the house! The kitchen was well stocked but we had to wash everything since there were roaches. The deck chairs were nice. The mattresses are very soft and seem worn out. We would not stay here again.

Great house for a large group!

We were very happy with our recent stay at Under the Red Roof. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, and beach was beautiful. There were 10 of us and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, coffee maker, blender, crockpot, etc. The only thing that did not work was the ice maker, but that was easily fixed with a bag of ice. Vacasa was easy to contact when there was an error message on the hot tub and someone came out and looked at the next day. It was helpful that all the sheets and towels were provided and there were even plenty extra pillows and blankets. Several baby gates were in the house which made it easy to keep dogs on one level. Also two washer/dryers (one on each level) and easy to use elevator from the ground level. We would stay here again!
