Relatively clean. A little run down honestly. The pictures were changed from the time I rented it until the time we actually arrived and I do believe it is because they did some minimal upgrades like interior painting. However, the furniture is a bit rundown, you can tell the property is aged maybe from the 90s. Many neighbors in the neighborhood have a lot of upgrades and newer pools, spas, backyards, and landscaping. This house hasn’t done any of that yet. But it was a doable place for a big family with a dog. Lots of common living space. There was a bit of a to-do where we were not given a code to enter the gated community. I ended up having to get the code from a neighbor because when I reached out to the rental company about the code, they told me I didn’t need one and that I had all of the information that was necessary, which was just a code to open the front door and a code for the beach access. I noticed belatedly several days into our stay that there was a fob that opened the gate which was hanging inside the front door of the rental in a bit of an obscure high up place that someone who is 5’3” like myself wouldn’t notice immediately. Nor was it ever mentioned. That fob did end up opening the gate. Just unfortunate I didn’t know anything about it or find it until two days before the end of our week long stay.
