We were, however, a bit surprised by the 4-star rating, especially since the concern mentioned was related to ocean rip currents, which are natural beach conditions outside of the property and something that can occur anywhere along Florida’s coastline. Guest safety is extremely important to us, and we always encourage visitors to swim near lifeguards and pay attention to local beach advisories. Thankfully you and your son were safe, and we truly appreciate you sharing the reminder with future travelers. We genuinely LOVE hosting guests and work incredibly hard to provide an exceptional experience for every family that stays with us. Our goal is for our Cocoa Beach vacation homes to remain among the top 5% of VRBO properties globally and to be recognized among the best vacation rentals in Florida, so we take every piece of guest feedback seriously. We’re sorry a few things fell short during your visit. The home is located approximately one block from the beach and we do list this in the details. The system recognizes anything within 5 blocks as beach, its not set by VRBO, unfortunately not us but just a short 700ft away. We also apologize about the hot tub jets. We appreciated you letting us know during your stay and immediately sent someone out to address the issue. Unfortunately, the repair couldn’t be completed before your departure. We completely understand how nice those jets would have felt after a 12-hour day walking around Universal! The cookware should absolutely have been spotless and ready for use, and we’ve addressed that with our cleaning team. We’re also reviewing the information regarding the gaming system and access to the beach-gear is provided had you agreed to the liability terms and paid for the extra services which unfortunately wasn't requested.
