Thank you for your feedback regarding your recent stay, Cindy. We are sorry to hear that the property and its description fell short of your expectations. The issues you reported are being reviewed and appropriately addressed. While we wish we had been allowed the opportunity during your stay, upon your departure, we immediately fixed the interior locking issue you reported. The owners will shortly be replacing the entire front door. It is on order. Please rest assured that Vacasa and the owners take the comfort and security of our guests extremely seriously. As noted in our welcome message, cellular service at the property is dependent on the guests’ cellular provider. After years of drought in Mendocino County, the property has several front yard landscaping zones that are in the process of being replanted using a water-wise design approach. The return of Fall and Winter rains will also bring a green meadow to the ocean bluff below the house. Right now, it is the warmth and dryness of late Summer and early Fall. Thank you again for your feedback. The property listing will be reviewed and revised to help better set guest expectations. We hope they remain high.
