The Space:

Ideally located only a third of a mile from the beautiful ocean beach in Pacific City, this light-filled home makes a wonderful base on the Northern Oregon Coast.



Built in 2017, this home has a lovely sense of polish, with bright rooms decorated in a chic palette of neutral tones. After a day spent at the beach, come home to warm up by the gas fireplace (or perhaps cool off in central AC) and stream movies on the living room's Roku TV. Or, step outside to find a fenced, sandy patio with a gas grill, lounge chairs, and an outdoor firepit (with wood provided) to gather around in the evenings.



The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need at mealtime, including stainless steel appliances, a prep island with bar seating, and an adjacent farm-style dining table for eight. After dinner, toss the day's swimsuits in the washer/dryer, set up a board game at the coffee table, or escape to the upstairs loft to send a few emails over the high-speed WiFi. The coffee table can be raised to be a standing desk - ideal for remote work or online school. Additional smart TVs can be found in the upstairs loft and most of the bedrooms.



This two-story house sits a short walk across Cape Kiwanda Drive from a beach access point. Beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a boogie board, and a surfboard are provided for your use. You'll also be within strolling distance of other Pacific City favorites, including Pelican Brewing and Cape Kiwanda.

It was absolutely amazing. The house was very cozy and clean. The kitchen was perfect to cook in. There was plenty of room. The patio was great to have hang out and have a fire on.

Very nice house and clean. Fit the 6 of us (2 adults and 4 children) perfectly. Comfy beds, ample amenities like laundry detergent/toilet paper/toys/lots of games. Quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach. Would definitely come back.

We absolutely loved this home. My kids played games the whole time we were home, enjoyed sitting in the sun on the back patio, and we took the wagon to the beach where we had a blast playing on the sand hill. The home was very clean, nice, and had all of the kitchen items we needed. We would love to stay again in the future!

Great house! Great location! Nice neighborhood. It could use a little bit of a deep clean, in my opinion. Living room couches could use a nice wet wash. Also the carpet, especially going up the stairs, could have a cleaning. The lighting fixtures in both bathrooms upstairs need good dusting. But, I feel it’s nothing that would make me not rent the property again. We had a great few days there. Also, we are tea drinkers and really wish there was a kettle. We didn’t find one.

We had a great stay at this home in Pacific City! We loved that we could walk to the beach. There are amazing views at the Cape Kiwanda State Natural Area just at the end of the beach and the dunes also provided some shelter from the chilly north wind. The home was well equipped with everything we needed. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen, with many spices on hand. It was also nice to have plenty of laundry pods and toilet paper for our stay. The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the indoor and outdoor spaces. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location; great house - the only drawbacks were the egregious lack of cleanliness, the heaps of stinking trash in the garage, and the absence of some crucial glassware. We simply must have proper drinking glasses and wine glasses on the coast; we do not want to drink water or wine out of coffee mugs or mason jars. There were games that were no longer functioning (i.e. destroyed or missing so many pieces that they were not functional) and we really could have used trash bags and laundry detergent. I feel like the property wasn’t properly cleaned or prepped for our stay and it was a dissatisfying experience. The house is lovely and so accommodating, aside from the aforementioned issues.

Overall the house was spacious and worked great for our family outing! PROS: Great location for an easy walk to restaurants, shops and the beach! Beds were very comfortable and felt clean. Lots of beach items provided for use such as a wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, toys, etc. Checkout was very easy and there was no list of tasks to do before we left. CONS: Overall cleanliness of the house could have been better. Found old chicken nuggets under the sofa upon arrival and floors have a layer of dust/dirt that had our feet black within minutes. Ice maker in fridge does not work and kept freezing up. Eating utensils and knives (very dull) need to be replaced. Backyard does not have sand as shown in listing photos.

Excellent location and a very friendly neighborhood! It’s a quick walk to the beach and near the main road. The house feels fresh with newly redone floors, and the beds/pillows are incredibly comfortable. We appreciated the quality coffee and the fact that the washer/dryer worked great. It’s a perfect setup for larger groups. Would definitely stay again!

Great rental

Overall, the place is very lovely and we had a good stay. The only issues were the clogged tubs and the kitchen sink had a horrible smell.

Cozy Beach Home

This home is comfortable, cheery, and bright. My cousin and a couple of her friends all over the age of 70 were visiting from Hawaii and they loved the home. Plenty of room and a great living area. Thank you.

Fantastic Property

Pacific City was our favorite stop partially due to this great property. We stayed two nights and ate out one meal a day with all other meals prepared at the rental property. Our two teens loved the board games and that they had their own TV ensuite. There was plenty of room for the four of us and I would consider bringing the 8 in our family because the property has enough room. We appreciated the provided beach items (beach chairs, boogie board). Tide pooling was a lot of fun and the beach was close enough to walk. I gave 5 stars because the overall experience was fantastic. Some suggestions: new sheets on the king bed (they were pilling), fans for the bedrooms, a second outside garbage can (it was already full when we arrived) and a strainer for the kitchen.

First problem we encountered was before we even checked in the outside garbage was stuffed and overflowing so our whole stay wed-Sunday we had nowhere to put our garbage or recycling.We never got the door code and had to call and remain on hold for a while so someone could try and get the code. The home itself a nicely decorated but pretty dirty in place. Downstairs bathroom's towel was dirty from the previous renters and the door had dirty handprints on it. The TV in the bedroom didn't work and the garage door wouldn't close properly. Someone came to look at them the next day and said someone moved a cable or something on the door and was partially able to fix the Tv. The lot next door had was being dug out and we have to listen to the machinery working all day.As a person who owns my own rentals for years, it should have been something that was mentioned to us before we came so we couldnt make different plans as we just wanted a place to relax and play some board games.In addition, if I was the owners, i would provide better quality items to use as it would feel like a home experience more.Clean pillows on the couches, tp that doesn't feel like you are at a motel 6, garbage bags that can hold garbage without tearing at the slightest weight. And finally, the garage just has stuff tossed in with no organization at all.Overall, there is a lack of attention to the important details that make you feel at home and welcome.
