This spot in PC is a great option for folks looking to stay out of the fray of downtown/on the beach. Very nice house with all the necessary amenities.

Very nice property! Overall we had a great experience. This property does have stairs, a sunken living room, and a fairly challenging set of concrete steps to get to the hot tub...so be aware if elderly or if you have any mobility concerns. The hot tub had jets on one side that did not work...but it was clean and warm. It is in a good neighborhood and if you continue up the street you can walk in some lush green forest (we brought our dog). BBQ also worked fine. Pacific City itself is a cute town with some good coffee shops and a few good restaurants. We will return again.

Overall it was a great stay. The view is amazing. Disappointed with the microwave/oven panel hardly working. Front room area gets very warm when the sun is hitting it in the afternoons. No A/C....

We had such a great stay!! Amazing view, saw herds of deer frequently in the yard/hillside. Hot tub was hot and worked great but needs a new cover and to get to it you have to walk down a lot of steep steps on the outside of the house but we didn’t mind. Loved the location. the jacuzzi tub in master bath- could only fill it just above the jets before the water ran cold for some reason. Also the Wi-Fi not the greatest buffered quite a bit. We cooked in the kitchen and had most of what we needed just missing a pasta strainer and no crab crackers. Overall loved this rental and had an amazing time! Would book again.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Hilltop House Stay – August 6–10, Pacific City, ORDear Hilltop House Host and Vrbo,Unfortunately, 1500 characters are not enough to describe the experience.The following issues were discovered immediately upon arrival:•The walls, countertops, and floors throughout the property were visibly dirty.•Because of the overall condition of the property, we inspected the bedding and found pet hair and human hair in all of the beds. The bedding appeared not to have been properly washed or changed between guest stays.•Rather than being able to settle into the property and begin our vacation, we had to strip the beds ourselves and wash the bedding before we could comfortably use them.•The downstairs shower had a severely clogged drain, which required us to clear it ourselves.•The upstairs shower was moldy and mildewed and required us to clean it as best we could in order to feel comfortable using it.•There were not enough clean towels provided for the number of guests. Of the six towels we located, three were stained and dirty, requiring us to wash them ourselves and purchase additional towels during our stay.Every one of the primary cleanliness and maintenance issues was apparent immediately upon arrival.We have photographs documenting the condition of the property upon arrival and can provide them to both the host and Vrbo if needed.We believe a partial refund at minimum, and preferably a full refund, would be a fair resolution.

First impressions house was poorly cleaned and in rough shape, All the kids games and activities are broken and in a pile in the garage,The corner in the garage had a pile of trash all sorts of broken furniture,They fail to mention that the hot-tub is down a very steep and sketchy steps, Grill is there but is unbelievably run down, had no grease catcher and grease went everywhere,Microwave and oven would not work, Bathrooms look dirty and trash cans look so rough cant tell if there is poop on them or rust.Downstairs tub drain is draining so slow tub fills as you shower, upstairs master shower looks absolutely filthy with mold and growths, Had gum next to the bed on the floor in one room Kitchen poorly stocked with essential utensils,Kitchen faucet so loose feels like its gonna fall apart, As we were packing up to check out someone came and parked where they could see the house and it made it feel like we were pressured to leave faster, and that was the same car that we seen drive by multiple times during out short stay, i don’t usually leave reviews but this was so bad that i feel like since house is up for sale they don't care much about what happens, this was truly a disappointment
