Older place. Second time staying there. It’s due for a lot of maintenance, but it’s in a great location.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Shabby Crabby Shack! This cozy little cottage was perfect for a long weekend getaway for two. Exceptionally clean, very comfortable living area and bed, close walking distance to everything that Rockaway Beach has to offer, and an excellent location to explore the surrounding towns along the Tillamook Coast. The kitchen had everything we needed to prep meals, and the shower was quirky but worked for us! Loved the beach vibe decor throughout! Thank you so much!

The home was nice, but the fact that there were steep stairs leading to the house that were incomplete should have been disclosed in the listing. I would never have rented this home as I have limited mobility.

We appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Clear information about access is essential when guests are deciding whether a home will suit their needs, and we’ll review the listing details about the stairs with the owner for future updates. We’re sorry the access did not meet your needs and hope the rest of your time on the Central Oregon Coast was enjoyable.

Quiet area and very cozy, clean, and everything was fully stocked. Super easy check-in and check-out, very close to the main strip and the beach. Cute little place, comfy memory foam bed and comfy couch. Loved it!

The structure is aged and in need of maintenance. Everything was clean but it also felt like the structure itself was unsafe in a few ways. The bathroom floor flexes quite a bit for instance. Windows don't open. You can see places in the wall that have been poorly patched and taped over. The caulk around the tub is peeling off...

This place was very cluttered. Vacuums and pack n' plays coming out of the makeshift closet in the bedroom. The handle to the bathroom and the towel rack both fell off as soon as we got here. The host promptly came and fixed them both which was nice. The heaters to the bedroom and living room were hidden and no one told us where they were or how to turn them on so we froze the first night we were here and my daughter was sick with a cold the next day because of the freezing house. We made the best of it tho.

Sarah, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you were able to make the best of your stay, and we appreciate your noting that the bathroom handle and towel rack were promptly addressed after you reported them. We’re sorry the heating setup was not clear upon arrival and that the home was uncomfortably cold your first night, and we understand how disappointing that must have been. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the amount of stored equipment and the overall presentation of the space, and will share these details with our local team for follow-up. Thank you again for sharing your experience and helping us identify where the home and guest information can be improved.
