What's nearby:

The beach is only a block away, and restaurants and shopping in Rockaway are close by as well. The picturesque town of Manzanita is just 20 minutes to the north, where you can find more dining and shopping options or get in a quick round of golf. Nehalem is also near Manzanita, where you can take a beach ride on horseback. Garibaldi is just 10 minutes to the south, where you can crab or fish in the marina or pick up some fresh seafood for dinner.

Our stay here was perfect. From the kitchen having everything we needed to cook our meals to having plenty of towels and extra pillows.

Everything was clean and well stocked. The balcony on top floor bedroom with the ocean view is the best. Listening to the ocean and just chill was what we needed. Its a great place to stay: beach access, close to food carts and other restaurants for food pick up. We used to go to a rental on Manhatten beach that is now way overpriced after renovations. The Cozy Cabin may be our new favorite :)

We really enjoyed our stay. The only challenge was that door code. It timed out if you punch it in too slowly. I’ve stayed places where they use your phone number, which was hugely helpful as it was easy to remember and enter.

Cute small house. Clean. Bed mattresses were unusual (not supported on edge). Had some difficulty with the entry code working and had to call for help.

The location of the cottage could not have been better...the check in could have though. We had a 9 digit phone number as the door code and no instructions on how to work the lock which was a royal pain. There were no outside lights and we got there just after dark so we were fumbling with phones and texts etc. Once inside we found the lights and began to notice right away that the furniture was just sad. We don't mind well loved, but the cushions on all the furniture were flat and tired and sagged pretty badly...one chair we just refused to sit on because it was just too nasty...no instructions for heaters but figured it out.The cottage is older and thus has the older near the ocean smell...not offensive but noticeable at first. After a few days we didn't notice it at all. There could be more said, but honestly the cottage was really quite quaint and having a laundry and spare room were so very nice! The little back deck was a great place to enjoy tea and breakfast and the beach is across the street! We enjoyed seeing the train and walked to shops...beds were comfy and extra linens a plus. its only 20 min to Cannon Beach or Tillamook. Locals are very friendly. We would come back.

We rewashed pots and utensils again, before using them. Perhaps a run through a dish washer would improve them.Some air fresheners would be a good thing. We opened the windows and gave the home a good air out which much improved the fousty smell that greated us.We appreciate that this little beach cottage has a lot of character and charm. It was clean and had an abundance of towels and linens. We enjoyed our stay.

New Years getaway!

Me and my girls stayed here for two nights for New Years weekend and it was fabulous. The house was adorable, quiet neighborhood and right across the street from a liquor store with the sweetest owners ever! I’ve always loved Rockaway but this house in particular made the trip even more enjoyable. A 2 minute was to the beach as well and only 20 minutes from Manzanita :)

The place was not clean. Trash near front yard, spots on lr chair, dirty toilet, dirty kitchen curtains Thoughts. A level floor would fix the refrigerator door problem. Please upgrade to 2-ply tp. Pay for late check out? Really? 10am is TOO early.

SHORT WALK TO BEACH

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Rockaway Beach. The location worked well for us to explore the Northern Coast with only a short walk to the beach. We would recommend hitting up a grocery store in Tillamook as open restaurants are a rare find. The home served all of our needs well. Our only complaints would be the sloping in the dining room and in the 2nd bedroom, the construction across the street, and the water heater that kept going out. All in all, I’d give this property four stars. The owner did a fantastic job at aesthetically personalizing this home for comfort and ease. We will miss the West Coast!

First week stay in Rockaway!

In the past we’ve just been passing through, but found this great little beach house by chance and stayed five nights in June! It was small, but perfect for our family of four. We were so close to the beach we could walk down easily with all the toys and chairs and bonfire equipment, and easily get back to the house when needed. It was clean and comfortable for the time we were in it-which wasn’t much because we were out enjoying all the new Rockaway attractions and adventures. Thank you for letting us use your home! We had a great trip!

Great Location

We really liked how close we were to the beach. Having the neighbors so close is interesting. I would also recommend the owners replace one of the beds which has a huge dip/sink hole in it. Aside from that a great stay.
