The views from this house are stunning. It’s the perfect mixture of trees and coastline. The check in process was seamless. The living room is so cozy to curl up on the couch and read a book or watch a movie. The lights in the entryway were a bit confusing to turn on. The bedrooms were nice, but blackout curtains could have made the sleeping arrangements perfect.

Trees meeting the coastline out the windows, with a couch made for reading, sounds like the perfect coastal hideaway! We're glad check in was seamless, and we've shared your notes on the entryway lights and blackout curtains with our team. We'd love your return visit!

It’s the Oregon Coast, so we were not expecting high-end accommodations. That said, we are quite surprised this property meets VRBO standards. The price point is at the upper end of comparable properties, but it would be charitable to say this is any more than a two-star-hotel-level experience. If you are seeking a cozy coastal retreat, this is not the place. Guest comfort does not seem to have been a priority. None of the furniture is comfortable, including and especially the beds. In fact, one bedroom was entirely unusable as the mattress is, strangely, both lumpy and hard. There are some nice touches, like firewood you can use in the home or at the beach, cooking supplies, and a bottle of wine to greet you. The place was reasonably clean, though the exterior spaces are not well maintained. Likewise, the management company was friendly and addressed concerns as quickly as they could, such as two lights being inoperable upon arrival. But they obviously could not address the mattress concerns or the second rate furnishings. We planned on spending most of our time in the house, relaxing. Instead, we spent our time away from the house, returning only as necessary.Of course, the experience can only be rated in comparison to the cost. Our concerns would be less significant if the cost were lower. But, in our experience, you can do much, much better on the coast for the price. Better views, better location, better accommodations, better hosts.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we appreciate you recognizing our team’s friendliness and quick response during your stay, along with the welcome touches like the firewood and wine. We’re sorry the furnishings and bedding did not provide the level of comfort you were hoping for, and your feedback has been shared with the team responsible for the home for review. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and should you return to the Oregon Coast, we would welcome the chance to host you again.

So glad the house gave you plenty of space and that our team was quick to reach when you needed us! That spot halfway between Cannon Beach and Tillamook sounds like a great base for exploring the coast in both directions.
