The host was excellent. She was responsive, and she helped us with transportation going back to the airport. The location was great, 2 blocks from the train station. The property was a bit run down, there was mold on the shower curtains and stains on the shower floors. There were 4 of us, and we only had 4 towels for a 5 day stay. Some of the towels smelled mildewed . The property was in a commercial building, with 3 restaurants. We felt isolated at night, knowing we were the only residents of the building, and the apartment was on the 6th floor.

Thank you for staying at our property, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us. We also sincerely appreciate your feedback. First, regarding your comment that the building felt quiet at night and that it seemed like you were the only residents, we would like to clarify that there are also residents living normally on the 7th floor. You were not the only guests or residents in the building. Regarding the marks on the bathroom floor, we clean the bathroom thoroughly every time using cleaning products and carefully scrub the floor. Therefore, the marks you noticed were not simply caused by a lack of cleaning. However, we will check the bathroom again and do our best to improve its overall appearance. Regarding the shower curtain, thank you for pointing this out. We will replace it with a new one so that the bathroom can feel cleaner and more comfortable. Regarding the towels, we would also like to clarify that the towels provided during a 5-day stay are not intended to be used only once. The apartment is equipped with both a washing machine and a dryer, so guests can wash and dry the towels as needed. If the same towels are used repeatedly for five days without being washed, they can naturally become damp and develop an unpleasant odor. We take our guests’ feedback seriously and will continue working to improve the cleanliness and facilities of the property based on your comments. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention, and we also appreciate your kind comments about our assistance with transportation and the convenient location.

This is perfect for a family. JR line close by, plenty of food and shopping by foot. Very close to Shibuya by train and Shinjuku station. I highly recommended. The property manager communicated as soon as I booked last year and made our trip worry free.

I stayed here for one week with my family and thoroughly enjoyed it! Shockingly spacious for how little square footage and we all fit comfortably. The location was great- a short walk from shin-okubo station making it great for exploring Tokyo. Additionally, there were many shops (even a small Don Quixote) and restaurants nearby that were also fun to explore. Would stay here again.

This was a good location and it was nice that it slept all six of us, but it was quite a bit smaller than the pictures make it appear. It was also more dated than the pictures look. There is also a lot of street noise at night if you are a light sleeper.

The location is a 2-min walk to Shin Okubo Station, in Koreatown. There are so many food options, from restaurants to a 7/11. It is very clean and we had enough room for our family of 6. The host was very helpful, prompt and responsive. I highly recommend and will gladly go back.

Overall the apartment was great, but there was no place to put our belongings; no dressers, tables, shelves or hooks. We lived out of our suitcases for 3 days. This seems to be common in Japan, but given how tight space is in this particular apartment, we had to be especially vigilant in putting everything away and opening and closing our luggage anytime we wanted anything. Location was very close to transportation and was overall very convenient.

What a great apartment. We loved it all. The showers were great! If was a spacious apartment for a family of four. All questions were answered promptly. The location to the train station was the best! And of course we enjoyed the 7 Eleven that was right across the street.

Location: Excellent. Just a 2min walk away from the JR station. Central Shinjuku is less than 15min walk away or you can travel 1 stop on the JR Yamanote line. Also, 7-11 is across the street which was super convenient for picking up a quick meal to eat in the apartment.Apartment itself; Excellent. We are a family of 3 and we had so much room. It was also nice having 2 full bathrooms, especially in August when having a refreshing shower is king. Having the 3rd bedroom was also great because if I woke up in the middle of the night (due to jet lag), I could move there to work on my laptop without disturbing my husband.Host: Excellent. Asami’s responses were always prompt and friendly. Her check-in instructions were detailed and clear, and she provided a detailed guide on how to use all the appliances in the apartment.In-room laundry: Convenient. The washer and dryer is one unit. Detergent is provided. Standard wash cycle is 36min. Standard dry cycle is 2hr20min. You can also select “wash and dry” cycle which is 3hr, but I found it was better to separate the clothes after the wash cycle, otherwise, if they’ve wrapped around each other (eg. long sleeves get twisted), that’s the way they dry and it results in deep wrinkles. Because the dry cycle is 2 hours, I found that hang drying anything quick dry or even cotton t-shirts were better off hanging on the drying rack on the rod in the dining room.Overall: A. We would definitely stay here again.

This property was well located for our crew of teens and adults. It was close to food stalls, restaurants, grocery and several different train lines. We were able to navigate in and out easily with close access to Shibuya, Shinjuku and lots and lots of shopping. Two full bathrooms were great for our group of 6. Property manager Asami was very responsive and able to work well with airline to help recover our lost luggage. This apartment is located in a very busy nightlife space, but kids/adults had fun. Excellent value. If you book, please pay close attention to the access documents, apartment is accessed only by elevator from alleyway.

The hospitality of the host was the best of all the vacation homes I’ve stayed in. Everything was well prepared before I moved in, and whenever I needed help, the host was available and responsive. The place was very clean. The kitchen had all the tools needed to make a basic meal, although there’s probably no need to cook since it’s located in such a convenient area. The vacation home is right on the main street of Koreatown. A 7-Eleven is just a one-minute walk away. There are many restaurants to choose from, and the Yamanote Line Shin Okubo station is less than a five-minute walk. It’s also about a 15-minute walk to the Godzilla Head in Kabukicho. Since it’s in such a convenient location, you can expect some noise at night, but it was totally bearable by my standards. Bottom line: I will definitely stay here again when I visit Tokyo with a big group.

Great Spot

Perfect accommodations. Close to train and roomy. It is on a noisy street but once inside it is quiet. Convenient stores close by. Try RED’s for some Korean chicken and cheese fondue. It was excellent.

Asami was very prompt to respond to us, even when there was a significant time zone difference before we arrived in Japan. The unit was very clean and comfortable with easy access to public transportation. The washing machine was handy to have with plenty of space and hangers to hang dry everything. Her photos were super helpful in locating the unit. The guide book provided had lots of useful information too. We stayed with our three adult children and it was comfortable, although we did not cook or eat in at all, there is a nice dining space but no living room unless you don’t need all three bedrooms.

Wonderful 3-Bedroom Apartment!

This apartment is described as a "room", but it is actually a 3-bedroom apartment that contains everything one could hope for! The location is fantastic (use the google map that the host sends for directions) and the host is incredibly responsive and helpful! We enjoyed this gem of an apartment immensely! By the way, although the apartment is only a two-minute walk from the train station, and feet from a main street, it was completely quiet!

Close to everything in Shin-Okubo

Loved the stay. The only issue we had was that if you have luggage there is not a lot of room to place it while taking off your shoes. It is a little tight at the entrance, but the location makes up for it.

Great location to two train stations

This flat is close to multiple train stations making it easy to get to various locations in and around Tokyo. The flat is on a busy street but was quiet by 10 and not a problem. Several grocery stores near by and a bunch of food stalls and restaurants too.

Excellent house near Shin-Okuba Station

A great place to stay, close to a railway station and in the busy Korean area of Tokyo. The house was great, although a little short on cutlery. Nevertheless we cooked full meals for 6 people. Highly recommended.

Our host was amazing! She gave very thorough picture directions on how to find her place, but I was not able to access the link when we got off the train. Screen shot before you go! She came and found us in the rain and brought us to her apartment and then came back with a few supplies from the market to get us started! We stayed for 4 nights and the house was the best accommodation we had in all of our 2 weeks in Japan! Comfortable beds, kitchen amenities, 2 full baths. Perfect for our family of 5. Thank you Asami!
