A rare opportunity to enjoy a private retreat in this charming 3-bedroom lakefront home on Indian Lake. Take your morning coffee or evening stroll down through the lighted path to your very own private dock and beachfront. Enjoy use of rowboat, kayaks, paddle boat and board for adventures on the lake - take a dip, go fishing, or hang out by the fire pit! Rather hang indoors and relax in your private retreat? The space features an expansive living room with beamed ceilings and a large sunroom/den with walkout deck. The sunroom/den is perfect for guests to spread out and enjoy their stay with a full panoramic view, and a full bed. Two of the three bedrooms offer queen beds, the third bedroom has another full bed with an en suite containing a tub/shower, making bath time a breeze! Both bathrooms are newly renovated and stocked with all the necessities. Just minutes from state beaches, restaurants and shopping. Internet, AC, heating, plenty of driveway parking and huge yard, fun for all ages! This uniquely designed home offers a welcoming vibe throughout. The private dock was so great. We had our coffee there in the morning, took out the kayaks and paddle boards in the afternoon, and had a fire at night. It was so relaxing and quiet after spending the days in busy Newport. And very conveniently located to Newport.

We had a lovely time here! The house is absolutely stunning and it’s so nice to have access to the lake with a paddleboard/kayaks/etc. The living room is spacious with plenty of seating and a large TV. There is also very easy accesss to Narragansett and South Kingston. Highly recommend!

This is a great versatile home for a family. Plenty of room to congregate in the family room while at the same time a number of quiet spots to enjoy a book or the scenery. Very relaxing place with plenty of space inside and out.

I fell in love at first sight with this house. I slept in a little room off the living room that had windows facing the deck and the lake. Beautiful! I loved that I could go kayaking any time I wanted, and I did. Mornings and nights. My family loved the house and fell in love with Rhode Island, too. This was one of my favorite family vacations, and I'm hoping I can go back again soon.

We had a lovely last minute stay at this home. The house has plenty of room to spread out. Each of 4 queen beds was attractively made, comfortable, and clean. The large living and dining space had plenty of seating, and it was easy to connect to wifi. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking supplies and ABSOULUTELY everything we needed for the stay was provided. The large deck provided a great place to sit outside for dinner. This all isn't even the best part- the beautiful backyard, complete with patio string lights showing the way, backs up to a lake with a small dock and beach. There are a paddleboard, several kayaks, a canoe, a lower firepit, lifejackets, water shoes, chairs- I booked this home thinking we would spend more time at the nearby beaches, but we were perfectly happy by the lake. That said, it is also in a great, central location for many other activities in the area. The hosts are very responsive and provided recommendations for activities in the area. I wish we could have stayed longer. This home is a gem- if you can't decide between the beach or the lake for a trip- this one is both!

This was one of the best stays we've ever had. We were looking for the perfect getaway, a peaceful retreat surrounded by nature and this home exceeded every expectation. The location is ideal: close enough for any essentials you may need, yet tucked away in the tranquility of the woods. The home's design and décor blend beautifully with its natural surroundings. Every room is thoughtfully decorated, and our favorite was the bedroom with the fan and windows overlooking the woods it was incredibly relaxing. The spacious wraparound deck is the perfect place to unwind at any time of the day. A charming wooded trail leads to a private dock where you can kayak or canoe, making it easy to enjoy the lake. Sitting by the water, listening to birds chirping, was one of the most peaceful experiences we've had. The campfire area beside the house is perfect for cozy evenings, and the grill on the deck is another wonderful touch. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and access to streaming services made it easy to stay connected or even work remotely if needed. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, with plenty of room for a family to cook together. Sarah thoughtfully stocked the home with quality groceries, toiletries, cooking oils, and condiments, making us feel truly welcomed. This is a dream home for our family, a perfect escape in the heart of nature. Sarah is an exceptional host: responsive, and attentive throughout our stay. We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it!!

Spent four wonderful days at the property. Bedrooms were nice, clean, and spacious. Morning coffee on the deck and down the short trail to the dock on the lake was pristine. One morning it was raining but there was a swivel chair and a small table in the living room adjacent to a large floor to ceiling window overlooking the lake; sitting there with my coffee in the morning was almost like being right on the deck. Several kayaks, a canoe, and a row boat made the peaceful lake a great experience at sundown and/or sun up. Less than ten minutes to stores, restaurants, and Narragansett Beach. Hosts were incredibly accommodating. Was a “picture perfect” vacation.

The layout of the house is open and everything was clean. All essentials were provided in the bathrooms and kitchen.. we enjoyed the kayaks, paddleboard and playing in the water and having s’mores in the fire pit each night. The host was very nice and communicated on and off regularly answering questions. I would highly recommend to anyone who needs a relaxing few days by the lake..

Nestled in a wooded neighborhood off of Route 1, no one drives through unless they are coming home. This is as peaceful, and quiet a neighborhood as you can get. It is conveniently located close to shopping, and town beaches, but tucked away so it is easy to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. Many of the neighbors purchased the land and built their homes decades ago, and have been here ever since. If you are lucky enough to own lakeside, you will find neighbors that give each other privacy, while not hesitating to offer support to one another.

Situated beautifully on Indian Lake, you have the opportunity to spend time kayaking, fishing, and enjoying the peace and calm of your own private beach and dock. For those who enjoy fishing, the lake is stocked with bass, pickerel and trout among others. With calm waters, paddle boarding and kayaking conditions are ideal. The sunsets are breathtaking and the water is refreshing. The lighted path from the dock back up to the house welcomes you home after a day of enjoying the beachfront. One floor living makes it easy to maintain, and the open concept living and dining area is ideal for families to enjoy meals and games together. Three bedrooms and a sunroom provide ample sleeping accommodations and both bathrooms have been newly renovated within the past year.
