Ideally located on esteemed Aquidneck Island. One acre of pastoral private land. This three bedroom home offers a peaceful retreat with abundant natural light. Enjoy the panoramic water view of sailboats, Hog Island Shoal Lighthouse, and Mount Hope Bridge from the sizable deck. The large home offers comfortable elegance with modern conveniences. There are several cozy common spaces to dine, socialize, and unwind. The house sleeps 6 guests. There are three bedrooms and two full baths in the main house. There is also an optional secluded one room space with a wet bar, bathroom, and private entrance. The entire home has been recently renovated.
Enjoy the rich culture and history of the area. The nautical beauty of the surrounding area is a playground for nature lovers. Year-round outdoor recreation includes water activities, biking, nature tours, and golfing . There are many local wineries and breweries, orchards, and farms.
This home is just a few minutes drive from Bristol town center and just one mile from Roger William University. Bristol boasts many restaurants featuring live music, parks, boutique shops, and antique stores. Stroll, jog or bike on the scenic rail trail along Narragansett Bay. Also, Colt State Park is a beautiful oasis. Bristol is home to the oldest 4th of July Parade in America. Celebrate the festivities including the 2 week concert series, carnival, and fireworks.
We have hosted numerous brides for Linden Place, Blithewold, Herreshoff, Bristol Harbor, Glen Manor. We also can connect you with a Massuese for onsite enjoyment.

Newport is only 10 miles away offering several popular beaches, shopping, restaurants, year-round events, and Gilded Age mansions. Enjoy the Cliff Walk along the shoreline. Perfect!

The house is spacious, clean, and has beautiful views of the Mt. Hope Bridge and Narragansett Bay. It is conveniently located and has a great bonus game room that kept us entertained. The hosts were very responsive, but everything was perfect so we didn't really have a reason to communicate with them. Great stay overall.

Wedding Weekend

We stayed for 3 nights for a wedding down the street and couldn’t have picked a better place to stay. The house was beautiful and super clean, check in and check out were incredibly easy and the host was incredibly responsive for any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Fun family spot .

I researched extensively to find the right spot for our family. This home hit the nail on the head. The layout, airy space and views were all in line for what we needed. Kitchen, living space, bathrooms and bedrooms were just right. The bonus was the "playroom" on the lower level with foosball and darts made for family entertainment. The view at night of the Mount Hope Bridge were spectacular.

Beautiful sunsets and great location

Great quick family getaway. Location was great - near Newport and Bristol. Easy to get to beaches, bike path, restaurants and more. Nice touches in the house made our stay very comfortable.

The Perfect Home Away from Home

We really enjoyed our stay in this house! The location was perfect for us to visit family in Massachusetts while also enjoying nearby towns in Rhode Island. There is a beautiful view of the water from the large deck on the back of the house, complete with comfy outdoor furniture and grill. Jeff and Stephanie are very accommodating hosts. We happened to be staying at the house during a heatwave and Jeff brought an extra AC unit and installed it so that the house would be comfortable for us. The house has a well-appointed kitchen and bathrooms with all you need for your stay. Beach items are also included, right down to a cooler and ice packs in the freezer. Everything was immaculately clean, and the decor is updated and beautiful. We enjoyed several of the local restaurants suggested in the welcome book the hosts have created. We look forward to renting here again on our next visit to New England! Definitely a 10/10!

Such an amazing home!

The house and property managers were amazing! They responded quickly to my questions, and the check-in and check-out process was straightforward. The house was well stocked with necessities-- pots, pans, toilet paper, towels, and blankets! The tea and coffee drawers were to die for, and the kitchen, I wish I could take home with me. Thank you, Stephanie & Jeff, for an amazing stay.

Hidden gem

This property is tucked away in the best way. It’s quiet and private yet still near everything you need. The kitchen is large, beautiful, modern, complete, and feels like the heart of the home. There is something for guests of any age. I would highly recommend.

A Perfect Rhode Island Rental

We loved absolutely everything about this beautiful rental from the lovely furnishings, large deck and yard, cleanliness , location, ease of communicating with the owners, and the many extras including everything needed for a day at the beach. The home is easily accessed off one of the main roads in Portsmouth and the property very private.

Wedding weekend

This house was perfect for our wedding weekend. Very roomy and spacious. I can’t wait to see the professional photographers pictures we had done on the grounds. It had everything we needed and more. I would recommend this house.

Excellent Stay!!

This is a wonderful house! We were here for our daughter’s wedding in Bristol. Excellent layout/floorplan. Stunning views and the house had everything we needed. Superb hosts. I would recommend this property 100%!!

Excellent place to stay

My family and I spent Thanksgiving at this lovely home. It is very well appointed and comfortable: the bedrooms are spacious and the kitchen is updated. Tastefully decorated and a great place to just hang out in. Convenient to Newport and providence. The owners are super responsive and helpful. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful House

The house was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of the water! Before our stay, the hosts sent us a welcome/planning packet with all the information we needed for arrival, and things to do and see in the area. It was perfect for a getaway with friends!

A dream property!

I could not be happier with my stay at this beautiful home. I was fortunate enough to stay here for my wedding weekend and it was the perfect choice. The house was gorgeous, clean, and had an absolutely beautiful view of the water and the Mt Hope Bridge. Stephanie and Jeff were sweet enough to leave our a bottle of Prosecco for us upon our arrival, which was such a kind touch. Check in insurrections we’re easy to follow and the house guide was amazing! I’m so glad to have had this home be the backdrop for the amazing memories we made, thank you again!!

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location

This lovely 1920's cottage has been updated for comfort and convenience with a beautiful, functional, and well-supplied kitchen, pleasant bathrooms with excellent water pressure, and comfortable bedrooms with wonderful views. The proximity to Newport and the polo grounds, beaches, and many good restaurants is counterbalanced by the privacy and tranquility of the property itself. We also thoroughly enjoyed the foosball table. Thank you again for the stay.

Incredible Views and a Great Experience!

We loved this property. It is private, spacious, peaceful, and has plenty of parking and rec space. We chose it for the views and amenities and it exceeded our expectations. This was like staying at a friend’s house as the hosts provided everything we could possibly need and so many wonderful extras (coffee, beach stuff, games, quality linens and towels). The house is beautifully decorated with spacious areas for relaxing, eating, and playing. The house is well air conditioned which was much appreciated as our weather and humidity topped 90+. Internet and phone service was perfect for all 6 of us with our many devices. The new, clean, and shiny kitchen is well stocked with utensils, cookware, serve ware, storage containers, additional appliances, and a great refrigerator with filtered water. The bedrooms are spacious as well, with closet space, and comfy beds & pillows. The showers have great water pressure 😊 The back deck is a comfortable place to view the spectacular sunsets, bay, and boats. There’s a grill and a fire pit. The lower level is a game room with games, puzzles, darts, and foosball. There’s a small pond on the property with resident fish that we enjoyed watching and feeding. The very attentive hosts provided a detailed welcome package with foolproof instructions and diagrams for the house. It also included loads of information about things to do, see, and places to eat in the area with their personal recommendations. A+5⭐️Highly Recommend!

We loved our stay at this listing. The hosts are fabulous and super responsive. The home is wonderful, beautiful property, well furnished, excellent amenities, super clean, excellent views & sunsets, and an overall great place! The dining area is more spacious than pictures appear. The pictures as well over all so not capture the beauty of the property and indoor spaces. Would definitely stay here again & recommend!

Perfect!

The house was incredible along with the experience working with the owners. They provided great support, communication, and instructions for our stay. The property itself is simply perfect and includes everything you need to enjoy you time in the area. The location is great with nice access to Newport, New Bedford (ferry to Martha’s Vineyard), and Boston. We will stay here again if ever back in the area.

Oasis

Lovely spot, very central for excursions to Newport and environs as well as a short walk to a local beach, but just as good staying put and enjoying the company of your friends. Well-appointed kitchen and easy to use space--grounds are nice and the view is fantastic, especially from the upstairs bedroom. We had a grsat time!

Paradise is Portsmouth

If I could give this property a ten star rating, I would. We arrived after dark, and shortly after our arrival we texted the owners with a question. Both Jeff and Stephanie responded within minutes, which was much appreciated. The interior and exterior of the house are gorgeous which we doubly appreciated the following morning when we could see the property and the views. There is a large back yard with nice landscaping all around the house. The view to the water is lovely. The interior of the house was immaculate, without a scratch or scuff mark anywhere. There are many windows and two sliding doors leading out to the deck, so there is a lot of natural light. The bedrooms are large and airy, and the bathrooms have been updated. The kitchen looks brand new and is very well equipped. The welcome packet was very thorough, answering any questions guests might have, as well as giving recommendations on restaurants, beaches, and activities in the area. This property truly felt like a home with all the comforts one would want. This is a fabulous property, and I look forward to future visits!

Perfect place to unplug. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The info packet was referred to many times and did not disappoint. We are already trying to coordinate our schedules to go back! PS.....watching the 4th of July fireworks from the deck over the bay was amazing!
