DO NOT BOOK with this host if you prefer to book with ethical people. I booked a wheelchair-accessible property and when I arrived, it was NOT wheelchair accessible. Not only wasn't it accessible, to get to the unit you had to climb a long, worn-out, wooden outside staircase with a loose railing to get to the second level door. The host had the nerve to argue with me about the property description being accurate, but there was no elevator available at this property and he couldn't tell me how to get the wheelchair to the second level. The property was very run down. There were doors off of the hinges, the strong smell of animal urine in the upstairs bedroom (which we found out from the cleaners was from a previous guest), cracked floor tiles, a tv remote with no back on it, a doorknob that was hanging on by a thread and moldy spots in the bathroom ceilings among other things. The upstairs "bedrooms" are just lofts with curtains hung around them, so if you are in your "bedroom", you are really only about 10-15 feet from the people in the kitchen cooking or the people in the living room watching TV or playing a game, no privacy at all. There was also not an ice maker, just some empty ice cube trays in the freezer. Stay away from this host and this specific property if you want to enjoy your stay in Branson.

Our listing clearly states that the home is located on the second floor and that access requires using the stairs. This information is provided in the listing so guests can review the property details before making a reservation. We did not argue with the guest regarding this concern; we simply explained what is clearly disclosed in our listing. We also want to emphasize that the condition of the home today is very different from what is represented in these photos. Since this stay, we have completed a full remodel and extensive updates throughout the property. The bathroom ceilings shown in the review have been completely replaced, the towel holder has been replaced, and the other maintenance items referenced or shown in the review have been repaired or replaced. We take guest feedback seriously and used these concerns as an opportunity to make significant improvements. The home is now fully remodeled, professionally cleaned and maintained, and in pristine condition, with every detail prepared to provide our guests with a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We are proud of the transformation and invite future guests to book with confidence and experience the newly updated home for themselves. We look forward to welcoming you to Branson and providing the clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay our guests deserve.

The property was great. Good location, clean, and very comfortable for our family of 6. Plenty of space for all of us. Especially liked the 2 decks with a view of the river and proximity of the marina. In addition the host could not have be more responsive and helpful. A bonus for our group was that they allowed our dog.
