IMPORTANT!
This first-floor apartment provides a dynamic living environment, situated directly between the activity of second-floor residents above and a basement apartment below. As a result, you can expect to hear the sounds of daily life from both floors, contributing to the overall atmosphere of the original building built in 1924. This includes footsteps and conversations from above, as well as ambient noises from the apartment beneath.
If you are particularly sensitive to noise or are looking for a completely silent environment, this may not be the ideal accommodation for you.

By booking, you agree to all of the house rules listed on our listing and rental agreement. Here it is again for your reference: By booking, you agree to all of the following house rules:
1. Smoking and drug use are not allowed inside the unit, on the premises or in the hallways of the building. This includes vapes, weed, or other illegal substances. There is a $1000 fine if discovered.
2. Parties are not allowed in this property, including loud music. There is a fee of $1000 if a party is discovered or if a neighbor complains about excessive noise. Quiet Hours: 10pm - 8am.
3. If an excessive mess is discovered after your stay, you will be charged accordingly on top of the standard cleaning fee. Please leave only 1 bag of trash in the can maximum at the property.
4. The cleaning that you pay for is to pay for how you find the home. Please leave it as you found it when you first arrived (more or less). If you do not pick up after yourself sufficiently after you check out, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee, price depends how long it takes to clean up after you (we hire 3rd party cleaners to come clean). We don’t expect you to scrub the home but simply pick up your trash and leave it decent enough that your mom would be proud! (=
5. Standard check-out is 11 am. Late check-out must be requested 24 hours before your checkout and it is $20/Flat fee. We will let you know what time we can accommodate.
6. Standard check-in is at 3 pm. Early check-in must be requested at time of booking and is subject to availability. The fee is $20/hr. We will let you know what time we can accommodate. If you arrive early at the property without letting us know, you will have to wait until check-in time.
7. Everything in the home is inventoried. We will charge for any missing or damaged items. Please message us if you need extra items.
8. Any cleaning issues must be reported within a reasonable time of check-in so that we can help resolve any issues you may have.
9. We do not allow packages/mail to be sent to the address you’re staying at. You may deliver items to the door, or to a local FedEx/UPS. We cannot help you to retrieve delivered mail.
10. You are booking with a valid government-issued ID and are not engaging in fraud or identity theft.
11. There are security cameras outside of the unit at the entrance. Blocking or disconnecting these devices will lead to immediate termination of your stay with no refund.
12. No shoes in the house, please take them off in the front. If you wear shoes in the house please make sure they are clean.
13. Please do not wash hair down the drain, no one likes clogged drains and we all know how problematic hair and drains can be, please treat it as your own home. Flush it down the toilet or throw it in the garbage bins provided.
14. Please make sure to use your real photo on your Airbnb profile picture.
15. Any unauthorized guests staying over will be charged an extra $100/night/guest
16. If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back
