Absolutely lovely stay! Due to some flight issues we weren’t able to enjoy our stay for as long as planned but Mikkie was so lovely and accommodating. The house is absolutely adorable and was exactly what we were looking for. The location was great as well. The property is perfect for a couple. Would definitely come back again.

This little garden house is truly charming. Located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood in West Medford. Mikkie was very responsive to all of our inquiries. We particularly loved petting Cooper, the beautiful Labrador. Would stay there again with no hesitation.

Mikkie welcomed us personally to the apartment along with her very friendly and well behaved black lab. The basement apartment was thoughtfully set up to make us feel right at home. Everything was spotless and worked well making things easy. Driving there from Logan airport is straightforward and parking was conveniently right in front of the house on a quiet street.Mikkie's personal touches make for a comfy, cozy and restful experience.

Fabulous time in Medford! Mikkie, our host, is an amazing human. She steered us in the right direction for lovely walks, yummy food & drinks. Restaurants & cute shops walkable with easy access to public transportation in to Boston. Her back garden is an oasis - we enjoyed morning coffee & evening cocktails! We loved our spacious & well-stocked apartment. It truly was PERFECT!

Mikkie made sure the bed situation was great for both of our kids, and everything overall. There is a binder in the kitchen that was very organized with places to eat, housekeeping tips and checkout procedures. She greeted us every morning as we went out and asked if we needed anything. The place was very comfortable and clean and had everything we needed for our 6 night stay there! I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and we would very likely stay there again next time we visit!

Our stay was wonderful. We got to walk through a beautiful arbor and walkway full of flowers to the apartment. Everything was clean and just waiting for us to enjoy our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet. Mikki is very responsive to all of your messages. After a couple of long hot days sight seeing in Boston it was a wonderful place to rest. It is a very easy drive into Boston and a great way place to get away from the busyness of the big city. Medford is a cute town. Mikki also makes great recommendations on where to eat. You will love your stay at her apartment.

This charming garden apartment was perfect for my husband and I during our five night stay. It is clean & cozy with a beautiful backyard garden that even lights up at night. This was our first visit to Boston and wanted a place that was close to Cambridge, the downtown area and to the airport. The neighborhood is also near the river for nature walks and has easy access to grocery stores, public transportation, etc. The apartment has everything you need to feel right at home. The host is super organized and friendly. The booking was easy to do & the host kept in touch to make sure everything was Ok. She was also very responsive if we had any questions.Overall we had a wonderful stay & would recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in a good location at a reasonable price.

We stayed here on May 5-8, 2026. It was wonderful. Our plane was delayed to Boston, which made us getting in later. Mikkie was able to accommodate us no problem. The backyard is beautiful. It has beautiful lights and plants. I wish we had more time there just to relax in the back yard. The apartment was well equipped and Mikkie even gave us distilled water for our cpap machines. She gave us information for good places to eat. We were within a couple of miles of Cambridge, which is where my son was graduating from college. It was a great trip and I would stay here again!

I’m originally from South London, England, and travel has always been an important part of my life. Over the years I’ve been fortunate to visit many different places throughout Europe, Asia, and the Caribbean, and those experiences have shaped the way I enjoy hosting.

As a traveler myself, I understand how meaningful it can be to feel comfortable and welcomed in a new place. Hosting gives me the opportunity to share a bit of the Boston area with visitors and help them experience the neighborhoods, nature, and culture that make this region special.

When I’m not running my massage therapy practice, you’ll usually find me walking in the woods with my dog Cooper, exploring local trails and parks, or cooking and entertaining friends around my dinner table. I love bringing people together, and sharing food, family, and friendship is one of life’s greatest pleasures.

West Medford has a wonderful balance that is increasingly rare: it feels like a true neighborhood community, yet it is incredibly well connected to Boston and the surrounding cities.

What I enjoy most is the access to nature and outdoor spaces while still being close to everything. The Mystic River, nearby trails, and the Middlesex Fells Reservation are just minutes away, making it easy to go for a walk, run, or bike ride. At the same time, you’re only a short trip from Cambridge, Somerville, and downtown Boston, with their vibrant food scenes, museums, and historic sites.

The neighborhood itself has a relaxed, welcoming feel with beautiful old homes, local cafés, and friendly neighbors. It’s a place where people still greet each other on the street, and that sense of community is something I really value.

I’ve also tried to create a space that reflects the things I personally value when traveling: comfort, simplicity, and a sense of home. The property is designed to be a place where guests can relax, cook a meal, read, or simply unwind.

Another unique aspect is the focus on local culture and sustainability. I enjoy introducing guests to the area’s parks, ecosystems, and local food scene, and encouraging visitors to experience the region in a thoughtful and respectful way.

My goal as a host is simple: to help guests feel comfortable, welcomed, and connected to the place they’re visiting.
