We enjoyed our stay at this condo! It was nicely appointed. We’ve never stayed at a beachside condo that didn’t include towel service, or easy amenities such as basic seasonings like Salt and Pepper, so that threw us off a bit (I did discover the towel thing before we left, so we were prepared for that). The bed was SO comfortable, the view was amazing, the deck was nicely appointed, the walk to the beach was easy, and the complementary chair service at the beach was great. Of note-they offer grocery carts to help get your belongings etc to the unit, parking is very convenient, and getting around the area was easy. Make sure to check the closet in the bedroom-there are beach/pool toys in there. We donated a sand scoop that we couldn’t take home! Destin beach is the most beautiful America. Beach we’ve been to so far-the soft sand and the water cannot be beat.

My husband & I booked this VRBO last minute for a weekend getaway. It was perfect for the two of us. We were supplied with plenty of linens & the essentials for cooking, although we ate out most of the time. The beach was so close by & the view (despite being back from the ocean) was still beautiful. Loved that our two beach chairs & umbrella was included. The only downfall was the complex is gated, which is great for safety, but we used Uber during our stay, & it was difficult for Ubers to get into the complex. We ended up meeting them at the gate each pick up. Check in & check out process was easy, as the front desk was very helpful with things. This unit is close to the pool & the elevator, which was perfect for us, but I would be mindful if you have family that are light sleepers.Overall, our stay was perfect & we enjoyed the VRBO. We would definitely book again!

Thank you so much for your wonderful and detailed review! We’re thrilled to hear that you and your husband had the perfect weekend getaway and enjoyed the beautiful beach, view, and convenient location of the condo. We’re also glad the included beach chairs and umbrella, linens, and kitchen essentials helped make your stay more comfortable. We appreciate your feedback regarding Uber access through the gated community. For future reference, guests can press the Call button on the gate keypad, and the front desk can remotely allow Ubers and other authorized vehicles to enter the complex. This means you don’t have to walk to the gate for each pickup or drop-off. We’re so happy to hear you would book with us again! We look forward to welcoming you back for another relaxing beach getaway. HSRC Guest Service Team

Beautiful location on Holiday Isle. It was a nice unit with great ocean views. Great balcony furniture but being an end unit in the middle of the building, it was right up next to the unit to the left which didn't allow too much privacy both on the balcony and inside the unit main area. Loved the open concept and everything was very comfy and cozy.....made you feel like you were home.Tricky to get to from the elevator especially using a luggage cart. Loved the proximity to the beach and pool and the complimentary chairs and umbrella were a great addition even though the paperwork received stated that they were for rent AND that they were complimentary. Everyone was super nice and inviting. We had a wonderful stay!

Nice accommodations for the price

We were really pleased to find an oceanfront condo to rent for the price we paid. We enjoyed the location, as far as being close to restaurants and bars. The property itself is sort of dated and basic, but we were comfortable and it served our needs. We would definitely stay at Holiday Surf & Racquet club again.
