Summer: Direct creek access in backyard plus less than 5 miles to all the following activities - Hiking at Grandfather Mountain Profile trail, Ziplining at Hawksnest, Alpine Coaster, Grandfather Vineyard & Winery, Grandfather Trout Farm, and Mountain Biking at Sugar Mountain.

Winter: Sleds provided for snow and less than
5 miles to all the following activities -Skiing at Sugar Mountain, Tubing at Hawksnest, Alpine Coaster. 10 miles to Sledding Hill at Beech Mountain (free - just bring a sled!).
