Great condo for a group

Stayed here as a rider at Daytona MotoAmerica and my crew. Super clean, the 3 bedrooms was perfect, and super easy check in and check out process. Would definitely stay again!

Home away from home

Had all the comforts of home with great views. Loved how close the private access to the beach is. The ride to the downtown area was a short 10 minute drive.

Nice property

Great property, well-equipped and clean. This is a slight walk across the property to the beach, so either plan to stay for the dat or bring a beach cart. Overall, enjoy our stay!

Great Condo location

Great Condo across the street from Beach access. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Great kitchen well stocked. Corner 5th floor unit with nice view of ocean. Second time we rent and stay here. Will stay again.

Well appointed unit with a nice view in a conveniently located complex with lots of amenities

I was able to get a last minute rental in a great unit. They were super helpful and easy to deal with.

Nice Getaway

Everything was as described and very clean. Kitchen extremely well furnished. Parking not at all an issue. A little further from the beach than we are used to but beautiful beach and nice pools.

Best vacation ever.

The condo is beautiful and worked well for my family of six. The kitchen was a dream to cook in and there was plenty of space to eat and live. There is a walk to the beach, but it was not crowded and the water was beautiful. It was close enough that we were able to go to NASA, paragliding and a dolphin/manatee tour. I would highly recommend.

There is no place like home!

What a wonderful condo. We enjoyed the month of January here and it felt just like home. The place was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We really enjoyed both of the porches. The weather was so nice for the month. I could even do water aerobics. The pools were heated. The community was very welcoming. And it was really a pet-friendly environment. We would definitely consider coming here again.

Family Vacay 2014

The unit is beautiful, the beach is wonderful...the only things I would change is NEW MATRESSES for the beds (my back still hurts from the master bed) and a closer entrance to beach or a shuttle.... As you age its not easy that long walk PLUS carrying beach supplies. Other than that we had a wonderful stay, the resorts had nice pools and BBQ and grouds are kept very clean. AMAZING Mexican restaurant couple blocks away....

Thank you for taking the time to write a review about our beach condo, Oceanwalk 3-501. We are sorry to hear that you did not find the mattress comfortable for you. When you visited in July 2014, the master bedroom mattress and box spring set was only 5 months old. We replaced it in February 2014. Additionally, the queen size mattress and boxspring in the guest room was also replaced just two months prior to your stay, in May of 2014. Both beds were replaced with SERTA ENVELOP PILLOWTOP -13.5" thick mattress with matching box spring sets, and since both bed mattresses are brand new, we will not be replacing them with new ones. We are very pleased to hear that you enjoyed Oceanwalk’s many great amenities and that you found both the beach and our unit beautiful though! -- Jennifer and The Great Ocean Team

Impeccable Condo at Oceanwalk

This is a great unit. It is tiled throughout and has high end equipment and a beautiful functional kitchen. You do not need to bring anything from home. It has plenty of dinnerware and flatware. The 2 lanais offer broad spectrum of views. We found the beds comfortable, although we prefer a firmer mattress. The entire complex is well maintained and is in a very quiet area yet close to grocery and restaurants.

Great stay in New Smyrna

My husband and I recently stayed in condo 3501. It was very clean, nicely decorated, and had high end kitchen accessories. We enjoyed our stay very much. The overall community was clean, well manicured and the people were friendly. The negatives were; this condo is far from the beach access. Also, pool number 2 was shut down so renovations could be made to the patio which created a crowded pool number 1. Despite those two negatives, I still rate this condo with five stars.

Great Property. Our sixth year at this unit.

This unit is spacious, clean, and loaded with amenities. You don't need to bring anything with you. Appliances are current. Unit has a great view on the fifth floor and has easy access to the ocean across the street. Each year we find additional improvements. We continue to come back to this specific unit within the development. The development has many social activities and its occupants welcome visitors.

Overall nice

We enjoyed our stay, overall. We were a little miffed when we received a phone call accusing us of smoking on the property. NONE of us smoke, and in fact two of our party followed someone down in the elevator who had been smoking and voiced their concern, stating they thought this was a non-smoking property. My husband also observed people smoking in the parking garage.

Nice Property but could have been cleaner

The property is in a great location. When we walked in and sat on the sofa, we immediately noticed dog hair everywhere on our clothing. The sofas were full of dog hair. I'm the master bedroom, there was blood and coffee stains on the dresser. I called the property manager and they immediately sent a housekeeper out to clean the dresser and vacuum the pet hair. I appreciate that and the housekeeper was so nice. I could tell there was pet hair in other parts of the unit because it was on my socks. We all liked the property but it needs to be inspected by a supervisor for complete cleanliness prior to the next family entering.

Strict 18 page RULES

The property was great however... WE have used all vacation websites and never an issue, but an 18 page disclaimer and a 500.00 charge if you leave with more than 6 dirty towels in an 1800 square foot 3 bedroom is ridiculous. I was sent 18 emails in a three week period way overkill as I call email "work". Three voice mails and no response within business hours, the property manager is failing the individual owners. Once again 5 stars for the unit 0 stars for property management.

Good, but need to address a few things

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and had easy access to the beach. It’s also relatively close to Daytona and all of the racing activities. The restaurants and grocery store options in New Smyrna were very good. Even though the property has two showers, due to the lack of water pressure/tankless heater, we could only use one shower at a time. The first floor garage is the primary entrance to the building. Unfortunately, the garage gate closes at 5p; hence, the only way to get into the building is via a set of steep stairs. This was not disclosed in the property description and we were not provided a garage opener to be able to gain access after 5p. Last thing, I would highly recommend adding a hair dryer to the unit. Hair dryers are standard features for every other VRBO that we stayed at.
