Denne enhed er en lys opdateret, renoveret og nyindrettet ejerlejlighed, der har kapacitet til at sove 6 personer (1 queen seng, 1 fuld seng og fuld sovesofa) og har 2 badeværelser. Det store soveværelse har en queen size seng og eget badeværelse, og væg-tv. Fjernsynet er i det centrale stue samt soveværelse områder. Enheden leveres med et fuldt udstyret køkken med sengetøj til madlavning ware. Gratis Wi-Fi. Vaskemaskine / tørretumbler tilgængelighed på samme etage. I lejligheden har udsigt til centrale gårdhave. The Place At The Beach er et ideelt sted for familier med mange fornøjelige faciliteter på stedet. Ingen kørsel eller krydse gaden for at have det sjovt på denne smukke badeby. Den store udendørs pool er udstyret med en vade-in området for småbørn samt vandrutsjebane, at både voksne og børn nyder. Centrale gården har en gynge-gym for børn og andre familiemedlemmer orienteret fritidsaktiviteter, der kan spilles på den store græsplæne. Udendørs kul grill er til rådighed og placeret på steder på gården og nær poolen. Gas grill er også tilgængelige lige uden fra den store indendørs pool med tilhørende jacuzzi. Udendørs boblebade er tilgængelige som godt. Rekreative aktiviteter til rådighed på stedet, er shuffleboard, basketball, tennisbane, minigolfbane, bordtennisbord (alle nødvendige sportsudstyr inkluderet). Perfect condo for our family vacation! Condo was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay at the beach. We would definitely love to stay here again next year!

It was okay I had no tv except in the back bedroom. Couldn’t figure out the main tv. Also our required arm bands were not in our packet so had to wait til next day to get them.All in all we had a fun time at the beach and the pool. The kids enjoyed the playground. Would have been better if we were able to enjoy the TV in the living room.

Lacking in cleanliness. Great location.

Great location! Well stocked kitchen. Unfortunately, the linens reeked of cigarette smoke!! So much so, it permeated through the whole house. We are in the process of hosting a construction project in this area come May, and will be inviting hundreds from around the state to participate. Unfortunately, We’ll never again use this host.

A nice relaxing getaway

The property offered a variety of things. The indoor pool was only open 1 day while we were there because of a problem. The tennis courts were cracked, but were playable. The property supplied all the equipment for the activities. The beach was beautiful. The unit was comfortable. We were a little disappointed to find out a lot of the restaurants were closed because it wasn't prime season; but where we ate was very good. The location was perfect to drive to various places.

No toilet paper when we arrived.

We enjoyed the beach and the proximity to Fort Macon. The condo was lacking essentials like toilet paper, dish soap (both kinds), bathroom soap (containers empty), and blankets for the bed. Would have preferred an ocean view and a larger balcony. We don’t expect to return.

The ad was deceiving. The winter outdoor amenities were misleading. The indoor pool and the hot tube were not functioning. It was advertised to sleep six. We were like sardines. Ref. door handle was broke and a compete pain in the butt. The management said the owner should have notified us about the pool and hot tubs. No one seems aware of the inconvience.

We checked out a day early.....

Giant cockroaches in hallway and on patio. 2 people on patio + 3 giant cockroaches makes an overpopulated space. Never did get TV's in either bedroom to work. When I called Mr. Phelps, he said "the remotes are confusing, call Spectrum, otherwise I don't know what to tell you." Ummm, NOT MY RESPONSIBILITY! The pictures of the (outside) property must have been taken 30 years ago. Inside pictures were accurate, but the place was way smaller than it looked in the pictures. There was no convenience store on the property as I read in the description or reviews, also the game room didn't exist. Water pressure in master bathroom was terrible. I would not recommend this as a vacation spot.

Great Value, LOVELY accomodations

I just returned from a 6 night stay at this unit. The pictures perfectly represent the condo. It is bright, cheery and the kitchen is WELL outfitted. Richard the owner was responsive to all our questions. The property itself is well taken care of and the pool area is a family's dream come true. Couple of considerations: the second bedroom is SMALL. I didn't mind it, it was just me sleeping there. However, it doesn't have a window and the bed is full sized. 2 adults may be a bit cramped. The condo itself is small, a family of 4 or 2 couples (who are super comfortable with each other!) will be perfectly fine. More than that and it'll be a tight fit. You are not directly on the beach and need to plan for that. Bring your own chairs, umbrella and a cart or the like and you are ALL SET. Food shopping is a BREEZE with Food Lion right down the road and there are plenty of GOOD restaurants close by. However, be ready to wait or make sure you have reservations!! All in all, EXCELLENT value, fantastic property and I don't believe you'll be disappointed in staying here.

Not good. Check in was fine, the resort was okay, beach was beautiful. But the unit it's self was very dirty.Floors made your feet black after walking a short time. Bathrooms were even worse. We couldn't even let my granddaughter sit to take a bath. Bathtub was so dirty we wore shoes to shower. Both toilets were disgustingly dirty. Sink in the kitchen was so slow to drain we couldn't hardly use it. Most of the cabinets were in disarray. (very messy). The queen bed was fine and seemed to be clean, but the double bed was really a joke. So loud when you sit or roll over and very uncomfortable. Sounded like cardboard that was falling apart. Then the carpet on the balcony was filthy. I understand it is outside, but how can you enjoy it when it is so dirty and rolling up?I have stayed in may VRBO units, but this was by far the worst one ever.I am not sure what my cleaning fee went to.

Family Vacation

This condo is a great place to stay. It was a little small for 5 of us but other than that it was a wonderful week. The check in and out process was quick and easy. I had to message the owner once or twice. But he was great. He answered any questions that i had right away. Overall we had a great time and I would recommend this to anyone.

Inexpensive Beach Stay

Although there is no view from this unit the beach was close enough to hear the waves and the staff was friendly and helpful. The actual unit is far from glamorous, but that's what's to be expected at the price point. This is the true 'value' option and the owner priced it appropriately. I was a little surprised that there wasn't any starter paper goods, although, to be fair that was communicated. I figured there would be at least one role of toilet paper. The place does need a little bit of TLC. As an example the bearing is so bad on one of the bedroom fans you could hear it in the kitchen. But again, kudos for the owner for pricing appropriately. If you want a super value option to get you as close to the beach as possible, and don't mind a 1970's kinda vibe, then this is a good option. If you expect the kind of place with stainless steel appliances, a modern condo layout, included toiletries and a Keurig with a selection of pods, probably not a good option.

Great location and amenities

We love Atlantic Beach and this Condo building with the pool with water slide and other great amenities. We will 100% be back. The condo had comfortable beds, they did specify that it wouldn't have things like toilet paper or paper towels although there was some there, but it would have been nice if they had dishwasher pods. I have never been in a vrbo that didn't have them.

Weekend getaway

Everything was ok considering the foul weather that came. Only complaint would be for the amenities hours and the parking situation. Our side of parking lot was completely flooded the entire stay and we had to lug everything everyday.

We vacationed at A Place At The Beach (APATB) for years prior to being able to purchase our unit. We begin going to APATB when our children were young and today they are grown some having children of their own continue to return to the area because of the family oriented atmosphere , beautiful beach and activities provided on site and activities within minutes of the condos. A Place At The Beach is still operated by locals and the staff on site are most helpful and caring. In addition to all the fun filled amenities on site there are other activities we enjoy doing such as fishing (on the beach, nearby fishing pier and with local fishing charters) , visiting historical sites, shopping, eating at locally owned restaurants, visiting the Aquarium and museums. When we go without children we enjoy activities such as, beautiful nights on the beach, night clubs and dinner cruises that are accessible such over the causeway in Morehead City and Beaufort.

The Place At The Beach is an ideal family get-away resort. Not only does it have many recreational activities on site but also in the surrounding short driving distance areas. The areas within just a short driving distance (most 5 to 10 minutes driving distance) offers additional fun recreational and educational attractions. Just less than 5 minutes from the condo is a fishing pier, Fort Macon State Park, the Aquarium in Pine Knolls, Morehead City(fishing, restaurants, shopping) and Beaufort (historical sites including Black Beard's relics, museum, shopping and restaurants). Shopping/movie theatre is 5 minutes from condo. A Place At The Beach is a great Family Vacation area with amenities like home away from home but with the enjoyment of being care free, relaxation and fun.
