Very nice and clean. Loved the balcony overlooking the harbor. Being upstairs from the yummy bakery was definitely a plus! Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

Everything we needed and lots we wanted: ample space for me and my adult sons, very well appointed from kitchen to linens, well-located to explore the whole town on foot, great communication with the host, and an incredible bakery right downstairs - owned by the host! We’ve come to Grand Marais for more than 30 years, staying in hotels and house, and this is our favorite to date. Thank you for a great stay!

The place was amazing! Very clean, great use of space, and an excellent location that can’t be beat! The bakery downstairs was amazing as well and if we needed anything, they took care of us right away. However, we did hear some bakery noise in the early mornings, which we assumed was part of the prep for the day, so be aware that’s part of the experience.

We loved this rental! Beautifully maintained and the perfect location in downtown Grand Marais! We would most definitely stay here again! And the bakery below is excellent and was such a bonus to have nearby! Thank you so much, we will be back!!

The entire space was very clean and well maintained. The communication with the host was easy and convenient. We loved having the bakery located nearby and took advantage both mornings we were there. The views were great!

Very clean and spacious for 4 women on an extended weekend getaway. Excellent location downtown with really good views of the bay. Easy walking to so many fun restaurants and shops. A fun hike out to Artists Point.

Excellent location in the center of town steps away from Lake Superior and within 1-2 blocks of all the major restaurants, bars, and shops. We loved having this central location as a base for exploring town and Artist's Point. The space was wonderful for a family of 5, extremely clean, modern, and welcoming. The bakery downstairs is the perfect place to start the morning. Be aware that proximity to the lake equals proximity to seagulls - their prolific artwork covers most roofs and cars parked along the shore.

Beautiful apartment with lots of comfortable space and views of the lake. We were a little concerned about being above a business but couldn’t hear them at all. And being above a bakery has its perks! Great coffee and pastries every morning just steps away was a treat. Everything in Grand Marais is walkable from this location and you have easy access to all the outdoor adventure you could ever want. Highly recommend.

The location of this home can’t be beat. In the heart of Grand Marais we were able to walk around town easily as well as drive to many of the beautiful sites nearby. Our grandsons spent what felt like hours skipping rocks in the bay across the street and within view from the deck. Watching the fireworks from the house was awesome! I would recommend this home to anyone wanting to experience Grand Marais and the North Shore. Oh and the bakery downstairs is amazing and the “icing on the cake”!

Hana is a wonderful host, and her home is truly a gem. Perfectly situated above Crosby Bakery in the heart of downtown Grand Marais, the location couldn't be better. The million dollar views overlooking the lake and harbor are absolutely stunning, especially sunrise and sunset from the covered patio.The home was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully stocked with just about everything you could need for your stay. Our family of six had plenty of room to spread out, and it was the perfect home base for exploring Grand Marais.The harbor views are worth it, but light sleepers may appreciate earplugs for the early-morning seagull serenades.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will happily return. Thank you, Hana, for sharing such a beautiful home!

We loved our stay at the Crosby house. We booked to enjoy the GM art fair weekend while helping friends and enjoying the city for a girls trip. The place was clean, centrally located within walking distance to most everything, and so comfortable! The place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay—the beds were comfortable and the AC was much appreciated on an unusually warm weekend! We also thoroughly enjoyed the deck and its lake/city view and found an appreciation for watching the gulls during nesting season. My only recommendation would be that if you are hoping to sleep in, run the fan for the noise reduction during morning hours. The place is above the bakery and a restaurant and they do of course start work early. But we are naturally early birds so we didn’t mind. Thank you Crosby house! We will be back again!

We loved our stay here! The host was extremely easy to work with and their bakery was downstairs which we loved! Highly recommend the maple latte and almond croissant! The Crosby house was very spacious, comfortable, and clean! The location was our favorite part being able to walk everywhere and we loved the balcony overlooking the bay!

The place worked really well for the 4 of us, wanting to stay right in town for this trip. The living and kitchen areas were spacious with lots of light and we enjoyed the balcony with a view of the Grand Marais harbor to one side. The hosts really pay attention to detail, with kitchen tools, etc., although with so many good places to eat within walking distance, we didn’t do much cooking. (An added bonus was watching the 3 fluffy young gull chicks nesting on the flat roof next door.)
