First of all let me start off saying there is a reason there is no exterior photos on the listing. At least had there been I would have known what to expect. The neighborhood is a little exotic and def not what you think from the description. Upon arriving the night of check in our smoke detector started chirping at 2am b/c the batteries were dead. I messaged the owner and he responded the next morning. Within minutes our maintenance man, who also greeted us by yelling “Fuc” at his bike every morning b/c it was broke, who lives across the porch brought us a battery over. The townhome is very old, which is fine but some of the things need to be fixed before others stay. For one there are only Window AC units in 2 of the 3 bedrooms and the living room, so we could not use the third bedroom because it was so hot. All 3 bedrooms are upstairs also. Our door knobs were all janky and hard to turn or would not turn and my husband and I got stuck in our room and my son had to get us out. The washer and dryer are located in the unfinished basement. The washer hose drained into the double sink next to it, except one of the drains was clogged so it went into the floor. The door code was also like a 12 digit code that never worked the first time. And this was not a place you wanted to have to stand outside on the porch very long, especially at night! We were looking for hotels on night one but decided to look past the surroundings and just stay.
