The Space:

Couples and small families alike will love exploring the Gulf Highlands from the comfort of this Gulf Shores plantation suite, featuring a shared pool, a great location near local sights, and easy access to the beach.



Soft white sands and warm Gulf waves are steps away, along with the fresh food of the Sassy Bass Grill. Hop in the car, and Gulf Shores' shopping and dining are a 15-mile drive away. Nine miles westward is Fort Morgan's beaches and boardwalks, as well as access to Dauphin Island via the Mobile Bay Ferry.



Things to know:

Guests will have access to six outdoor pools on the Gulf Shores Plantation grounds plus one indoor pool, and sauna in the Dome Area of Bldg 4.

Nice complex, close to the beach, nice pools, and Sassy Bass restaurant is a nice dining option so you can stay on the beach all day.

Awesome Place to Stay!

This was the perfect place for my teen daughter and I to stay and enjoy some beach time. Very clean and great set up for fixing our own meals.

Home away from home

We enjoyed staying at Plantation East. The condo was clean and comfortable and the view was incredible! We will definitely stay again.

The condo had a beautiful view of the gulf. We enjoyed watching both the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony. The kitchen had a new stove, microwave, and countertops but could use some stocking of new dishes. The pans were few and very scratched. They did have new floors in the living room as well.

The view was beautiful. The overall experience was awesome. The furniture was and appliances was a little outdated and the tub didn’t drain well but you couldn’t beat the price for the view. It was also very clean. I give it a 4 out of 5. I would stay again

Nice place

Loved the view, condo was very clean. Since it was wintertime not a lot of pool activity, which was more to my liking. Would definitely come back in December-February timeframe.

We really had a great time.

Everyone was friendly. the condo could use some fresh paint and updates. new pictures to make it more beach feeling, but overall it was good and would stay there again

Great condo overlooking the ocean, steps away from white-sand gulf beach. Had everything we needed. We decided to stay an extra night and communication with the management company was great.

Amazing views for a good price

While this condo generally was a little older than what I have stayed in in the past, the price was right and you cannot beat those ocean views! The condo still had everything we could have possibly needed and was great for coming back to after a long day on the beach—which is only steps away! Overall, we had a fantastic stay and I’d be there today if I could!

Location on 3rd floor facing beach was great. Short on kitchen and condo supplies for our 4 night stay. The decor is very plain and sparse.

My son, granddaughter and I enjoyed our stay in this simply designed and stocked condo environment. The listing was true to its pictures and amenities. The pull out sleeper sofa mattress was very uncomfortable, which led to a rating of 4.0 instead of a 5.0. This resort was quiet,family friendly and had dining options within walking distance or a short drive. The best part of our experience was the view from our balcony, swimming in the pool which has water levels from 1-5 feet to accommodate different swimming abilities and spending hours on the beach. I would definitely return to this Fort Morgan area in the future!

Love the beach front view from the deck - for us it was the slightly higher price. Spent a lot of time out on the deck. Its not spacious, but appreciate the chairs and side table so we could lounge out there with our drinks and snacks.Bed and pillows were fine. Plenty of storage for 2 with the dresser and closet. Appreciated having reading lights on both sides of the bed. Did not care for the bedroom blinds. The window requires a covering since it looks out to the public walkway, but it made it really dark during the during the day and allowed light in at night. I would have liked a modesty curtain for daytime that would obscure views and allow light, then a blackout drape over that for nighttime. Pool was great, good boardwalk, appreciate the showers and foot washing stations after coming in from the. We loved the beach off the resort with light sand, very little trash, and not a lot of people.Kitchen adequate. We would have liked one or two microwave safe dishes with lids to steam vegetables. And only one dish towel, but we made do.Check-in and check-out easy in the VRBO app. Management company was quick to respond to any questions.Never got the door to lock properly however as instructions said to press the "Schlage" button. Our door did not have one, while others on our floor did.

Nice stay

Property nice. Clean except tub was awful dirty. Dirty sheets in hall closet. Listening said had blow dryer and blender, not true. Fry pans (1 small 1 large) both had scratches inside them. Nothing to be upset about just wish had what was needed. We would return loved staying at property. Something that needs to be done is bedroom window needs better covering, the light in hallway make's bedroom like daylight at night.
