This was an excellent property. Only 1 house away from the beach and the bay side was within view across the street. It is close to West End public beach as well. The house is clean, well kept and everything in great shape. Having a pool is a fantastic plus. Our family of 15 was comfortable and very pleased with our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

The house was perfect for our group of 10 as far as # of beds/baths, proximity to beach, the relaxing pool. But…day we arrived we found the kitchen sink handle wouldn’t stay on, nearly all tp holders & towel holders were pulling out of the walls. I immediately called & reported those issues (with pictures) but nobody came to fix them. Water pressure in showers was pathetic. Cooking amenities were few, & what there was were old & overused. This was obviously a corporate owned house & corporations don’t care about people. We won’t make that mistake again!

Patti, it’s wonderful to hear that the house suited your group well with its ample beds and baths, and that you enjoyed the relaxing pool and proximity to the beach. We truly want every guest to feel at home and have a seamless experience. We’re genuinely sorry to learn about the issues you encountered with the kitchen sink handle and the towel holders. It’s disappointing to hear that our team didn’t respond as quickly as we strive to, and we appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention. We also understand how frustrating it can be when the water pressure doesn’t meet expectations, and we’re looking into that as well. Your feedback about the cooking amenities is valuable, and we’ll take it into consideration as we continue to enhance our guests' experiences. We want to ensure that our home feels welcoming and well-maintained for everyone who stays with us. Thank you for sharing your thoughts, and we hope you find a place that better meets your needs in the future.

Beautiful home and great location

The house was great and so peaceful right off the ocean. We loved it so much and can’t wait to go back. My only complaint is the pool felt a little cool when we first arrived and we called and no one ever came to fix it.

Great property. House was clean and the set up was nice for our family. Location is amazing. Also property management was great. Example.. ..We ran out of propane and they were there the next day to refill it. Also we noticed a spindle broken on deck and they fixed immediately. Only complaint would be for the pool to be cleaner but nothing crazy we definitely used it everyday. Would come here again!

The pool is in working order before arrival. When we arrived for Thanksgiving week with 6 kids the pool was green and not in working order. We booked this house because of the pool and promised the kids a fun heated pool. This was obviously a huge disappointment. No communications that the pool was out of service. Was very disappointed.

Good but not great Dauphin Island home

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation to Dauphin Island and this home is good but the overall experience has room for improvement. Good:- Location is fantastic. 50 yards from the water line.- The home's fixtures and decorations overall are good, but require maintenance. - The home's grill was in good condition and propane was full. Very convenient for our grilling needs. - The pool is a great option for beach breaks or on the bad weather days. - Check-in and Check-out processes were simple. - Smart tvs in every room were convenient on bad weather days or in the evening when trying to wind down. Bad:- Communication with host was below average overall. We could only get ahold of "corporate" Vacasa and not somebody local to fix issues we found. This may be indicative of Vacasa being a big company and not a local business.- Cleanliness upon check-in was good at first glance, but we found a used Zyn container and a yogurt squeeze tube in the kitchen. - Multiple maintenance items upon check-in. One room was missing the AC vent in their ceiling. It was just a hole. Each bathroom had at least one fixture falling off the wall. - Pool got dirty quickly and didn't seem to have any cleaning mechanism. Also seemed to leak as water level dropped each day.- Internet is abysmal. I know you don't go to the beach for internet but on bad weather days it helps. Speeds were 5-8 Mbps. This house is too new to have so many issues. Has potential though!
