We invite you to our spacious vacation home at Emerald Island Resort. The #1 area for your family to enjoy an unforgettable vacation in the Orlando area.

The space
On the main floor of the home there is a open plan living room area, large sectional sofa, chaise and recliner chair with a 60 inch HDTV with a fully accessible ROKU streaming device, there is a furnished dining area with seating for 6 at one table and 4 in the kitchen all over looking the beautiful pool area!

The home has three master bedrooms, 2 upstairs both having private en suite bathrooms and 1 bedroom with ensuite bathroom downstairs. There are 3 additional children's bedrooms upstairs all with twin beds that are joined by a jack and jill bathroom and a further bedroom with a queen bed. A larger, multi-generational family will appreciate the diverse sleeping arrangements and fabulous open spaces inside and out.

There is also a separate utility room housing a washing machine and dryer free to use on the ground floor.

Enhancing your vacation is just outside the patio door, stepping outside onto a large pool deck you can enjoy a day of sun with a heated pool and jacuzzi spa.

(All tv's in the home have ROKU devices with over 200 free streaming channels. you can log in to your personal Prime/Netfilx/HULU accounts and much more along with live channels that play local and worldwide news, sport and media)

You won't believe just how close you are to the Disney Parks - just a 15 minute drive away. The new Sunset Walk and Margaritaville resort is just 5 min away, there you will find an abundance of dining, shopping and minor attractions be experienced. Championsgate is 20 minutes away, here you will find bars and restaurants, grocery stores, nail bars, spa services and more!

We absolutely loved our stay with LRS Vacations. They were super responsive and made traveling such a breeze! With easy check in and check out instructions; a super clean home with enough room for our large family and then some! We super enjoyed having the sitting areas and pool and the back patio was super spacious to host our late night talks and laughing sessions with our family. All in all we would recommend this home and the company in general over and over again! We plan to book again in the future and direct anyone we know in their direction! It truly was a magical vacation in a very good location

We enjoyed our stay at this property. Conveniently located around 20 minutes to Disney and around 40 minutes to Universal Studios. The property is a bit outdated and could use some work to bring it up to a higher standard. Beds are older and make noise. The property manager was great with communication and addressed some maintenance issues when we arrived. Overall, this is a great property for large families or multi families. Just be sure you are aware like if you want to use the hot tub “hot” it’s an additional fee and they have some very stringent rules while using the property. Also, if you like a cold property, they do not let you turn the air-conditioning any lower than 74. Keep this in line. But again overall great experience we will definitely rent again.

We would like to clarify one point for future guests: the property does not have a hot tub. It features a Jacuzzi spa connected to the pool, and use of the spa is included with every stay. I booked on a Wednesday evening and had to call VRBO on Friday to get the management company to reach out for check in info. When we arrived the pool did not work. Had to call to have them come fix. The home also had a musty/mildew smell to it. We were advised that the carpets were deep cleaned the day before. The management company argued with me about the smell and brought over air fresheners. We asked to be moved to a different property and at first they did not have any then all of a sudden they had a property open up for over 800 per night. We were told we could pay the difference and move there. Not an option. I reached out to VRBO about their guarantee and was told that the management company denied a refund and there was nothing they could do. We were basically stuck. Finally, when I said I had a disability for asthma and provided proof, that is when things changed. The smell was starting to flare my asthma. Finally, the management company decided to authorize a refund. They did allow us to stay the night since it was late Saturday night and finding a place was not an option after spending over 6 hours arguing with them and VRBO about the issues with the property. Maybe their other properties are nice but stay away from this place. It needs a ton of work and updating.

We respectfully disagree with the statements made in this review, as they do not accurately reflect the situation or our handling of the reservation. The primary reason the guest requested to move was not due to any verified issue with the home, but because his wife was unhappy with the property upon arrival. We overheard the conversation where she stated to say that all the family had acute issues with smells, Jerry even said this on a txt message. Following this, several complaints were raised that were inconsistent with the actual condition of the home and appeared to be an attempt to justify a refund. Yes, we supplied air fresheners but there was no smell to mask. The photos referenced in this review do not depict our property. The home was clean, properly maintained, and accurately represented in our listing. While the carpets had been professionally cleaned prior to arrival, there was no confirmed mildew or air quality issue. Our team responded promptly to concerns, including addressing the pool and visiting the home when contacted. At no point did we deny a refund outright. We followed standard procedures and worked within VRBO policies to address the situation. The guest initially booked a standard 7-bedroom home at approximately $120 per night, but then requested to be moved (at no additional cost) to a significantly higher-tier executive property priced at over $800 per night. This request was not reasonable and could not be accommodated. Offering the option to upgrade by paying the difference is standard practice. Ultimately, we made efforts to resolve the situation as fairly as possible, including allowing the guest time to secure alternative accommodations. We stand by the quality of our home and our commitment to addressing guest concerns professionally, but we cannot support claims that misrepresent the facts of this stay.
