Cute little charming place in a beautiful setting among the trees. It is situated in a quiet community and although neighbors are close it was private. The hot tub was really nice and the deck was great. We didn't realize the second bedroom was detached from the main house and although fine for us someone with small children would probably want to know this before booking. Also some directions to the unit itself would be helpful in the check in process. Whaleshead beach is just across the street and very nice. We would definitely stay here again.

We’re so glad you enjoyed your stay, Julie! It sounds like you really appreciated the charm of our cabin and the beautiful tree-lined setting. The hot tub and deck are perfect spots to unwind, and we’re happy to hear you made the most of them. Thank you for your feedback about the detached second bedroom and the check-in directions. We want to ensure every guest feels fully informed, especially families with small children, so we’ll definitely take your suggestions to heart. Whaleshead Beach is indeed a gem, and we’re thrilled you got to experience it. We would love to welcome you back for another relaxing getaway in the future!

The accommodation was spotless. The only major issues we had was no hot water in the shower and the oven never warmed up. Those were a substantial inconvenience considering the price per night.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Jason. We’re thrilled to hear that you found the accommodation spotless, as we take great pride in maintaining our homes to high standards. However, we genuinely regret the inconvenience you faced with the hot water and the oven. That shouldn’t have happened, and we understand how frustrating it can be, especially during your stay. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us improve our services and ensure a more comfortable experience for our guests. Our local team is always here to assist, and we wish we had known about these issues during your stay so we could have addressed them right away. We hope you’ll consider staying with us again, as we would love the opportunity to provide you with a seamless experience next time.

Deceptive listing, dismissive management. Do not book. Not as advertised - Marketed as a "cabin," this is actually a unit inside Whaleshead Beach Resort, a manufactured home and RV community, confirmed by real estate listings as a 149-site manuf. home and RV park. Homes sit so close together that our neighbor's living room window looked directly down onto our hot tub. We were also told after booking our nonrefundable stay that AI-based ID and face verification through an unfamiliar site was mandatory, never disclosed in the listing and a violation of Vrbo's policy requiring host rules be disclosed before booking.Cleanliness - A large, dried bug had clearly been smeared on the wall for a while. Combined with other minor oversights, it didn't read as a carefully cleaned turnover. The sheets smelled of stale smoke despite a posted no-smoking policy. Worst of all, I found dead flies in the bed itself.Maintenance - The oven, listed as working but visibly in disrepair, never heated even on broil. The grill, also listed, didn't work either.Communication - We messaged about the cleaning crew still inside past our 4pm check-in and would've waited four hours if we hadn't handled it ourselves. Photo and video proof of the bug and oven were denied outright by management. We checked out two days early and headed home, no other lodging available. Management refunded about two-thirds, appreciated, but it doesn't offset a misleading listing and flat denial of documented problems.

We were in communication with the host on items to be addressed. We were quite pleased at how quickly they responded to our concerns. Also, if the host follows through with how they addressed our concerns, it will be a more positive experience. Even though we were told, in the description, that there was room to park only one car, we found that there was room to actually park our Toyota 4-Runner and Jeep Grand Cherokee, which was a pleasant surprise. In closing, we would like to say that everyone has their own perspective. We will leave it up to future guests what they think of this cabin.
